Free visit /​estimate, rare these days. On time and called when they were a half hour out, just like they said they would, also rare. Ultimately didn’t find a squirrel next in my garage, though I know the little furry rat is in there…

Veronica left our house not too long ago with a skunk that got into our basement. She’s amazing and a life saver. She walked out of our house with this skunk like it was nothing. Also I should mention I called her at 9:30 PM and she was at our house within the hour. Thank you!

We got a few estimates for some mouse sealing. Critter Getters was by far the most responsive and was able to work with our schedule (can only be home nights and weekends). Their pricing was also much cheaper compared with the other estimates. Overall a great experience and we’re very happy with the work performed.

We hired Critter Getters when we discovered a mice issue in our attic (I thought it was raccoons — nope, just dozens of mice). I called anxiously, on a Saturday morning trying to explain the situation and they were at our house within 72 hrs. Not only did they inspect the house perimeter with me they also answered all of my ‘what if’ /​‘how’ questions! I happily recommend their services to others.

I had a skunk living under my shed in the back yard. I called critter getters and they came out quickly and set a trap. But after about a week of no activity they came back and picked up an empty trap and they were gone. I’m not sure it was worth $ 175 to scare the skunk to a neighbors yard. I would have gladly paid $ 175 if they had taken a skunk away.

We discovered a skunk taking residence underneath our deck and knew we needed help. After finding Critter Getters info on Unilocal,Veronica answered my call and came out to our house that same day. Within a few hours of noticing we had a problem, Critter Getters had come to the rescue and set up a have-​a-​hart trap underneath our deck.
All we had to do was continue to watch the trap every morning for activity and contact Veronica by call or text to let her know. After a day or two we caught our first skunk and she came to retrieve it later that day. She then reset the trap once more to ensure no others were lurking beneath and we repeated the process.
Hopefully we won’t have another issue in the future but are happy that Critter Getters were able to help remove the skunks from our backyard, quickly and effectively.

I called them in regards to bats in my attic and basement that I had been dealing with for over a year. I had a pest control company out which did not solve the problem and continued to try to solve issue myself to no avail. They came out quickly and right on time for a free estimate. After looking around house, I was told that I had done pretty much everything but one area of concern. I took their advice and have not had any issues since. I would not hesitate to call this company again or recommend to anyone i know that has nuisance wildlife.

A critter had built its nest under the cement step of our front door. I called Critter Getters based on their great reviews on Unilocal and I was happy I did! Veronica answered right away. Veronica and Rod were out within hours and had a trap set. Skunk #1 was caught that night. They came the next morning to remove it and set another trap. 3 skunks were caught the next night and again they came in the morning and reset. 2 more skunks were caught the following night. We would have had 8 skunks on our property if they hadn’t caught them. Plus we have 2 dogs who likely would have been skunked all summer. The charge was reasonable and I highly recommend them!

Veronica and Bob came out to save us from a bat in our house. They were fantastic! Very helpful and polite. We will not hesitate to call them in the future. Thank you for the quick service.

After calling 2 – 3 places and getting some sizable quotes for critter removal and detection, called Critter Getters this AM and Bob told me that they would come out SAME DAY for no charge to determine what our odor in the house was that we had been smelling for about 10 days. He called about 20 mins before arriving and they came and did a full inspection around outside and inside of the home. They even helped me clear out our closet to gain access to the attic space to ensure they covered everything. In the end, we decided that something died under the front cement stoop. They determined that it would be EXTREMELY expensive to try to remove and gave me some recommendations on how to handle. They also recommended a quote for fencing around stoop to prevent burrowing in the future. Never charged me a dime for the visit. EXTREMELY HELPFUL, very professional, thorough work and would HIGHLY recommend Bob and everyone at Critter Getters in the future! Thank you!

Great service. Critter Getters came the same day within a few hours of our call and removed a squirrel from our basement. Squirrel was quickly and safely caught and removed for relocation for a very reasonable service call fee.

We’ve been hearing noises in our walls for a week now and nobody seemed to know how to help. After 5+ calls and countless companies trying to sell bug repellents every quarter and sprays… They came out and did a thorough inspection and told us they would find the problem before giving a price. They were so helpful and very knowledgeable. We live in a super wooded area, so if we ever have another issue we know who to call! I would definitely recommend them for any rodent/​pest issue! I used Critter Getters twice this month: first time a week ago where I noticed my window well cover fell into my window well under my deck and when I tried to pull out the window well cover found a dead animal in the window well.
After calling different animal removal companies I came upon Critter Getters website and seeing they were in my area I gave them a call. I appreciated they were able to come out on Sunday morning and removed what turned out to be a dead raccoon.
Today I heard a strange chirping noise and a strange smell coming from my basement. Walking over to my deck I heard the chirping noise directly coming from my window well.
After calling around I decided to call Critter Getters again. Again they came out on a Monday morning and found what turned out to be TWO skunks in my window well!
Critter Getters has been very helpful with removing animals that seem to fall into my window well, as well as the second time around they gave me some recommendations on what I can place over the area to help prevent animals trying to get into window well again.
I also appreciate they are reasonably priced. Other animal removal services I called were way much more expensive.
So I won’t hope I need to use Critter Getters again :) However, I do appreciate their quick and reasonably priced services and would recommend them to anyone within the Hoffman Estates/​Schaumburg area.

Caught the skunk we could not keep out of the hole it dug within 6 hours of setting the trap. Our neighbor has been trying to catch theirs for 4 days using another company and had to reset the trap plus had to pay for the reset. Veronica is friendly and prompt. GREAT JOB CRITTER GETTERS!!!

I used this service 2 years ago to remove squirrels from entry to rafters in house. At that time, I liked them. And paid to have a steel plate installed to cover past entry way and enzyme etc. sprayed inside.
2 years later, almost to the date, the squirrels reentered the same place. I called a different service and they found that the squirrels had reentered the site and chewed through the RUBBER plate that was installed, not steel. I feel they should pay back monies paid for steel plate and services with this new provider that have to redo their work.
I had also called them first when this happened and they were going to call back with appt date but never heard from them. This was BEFORE I knew about the rubber plate.

They were pleasant, on time, good communicators. Most importantly, they gamely and quickly dealt with just about the most disgusting situation imaginable.
