Business Owner

California native Julie Jakob has been part of the Utah business community since 2004 and has taken an active role in promoting and supporting local businesses and events. She believes that community involvement benefits everyone involved, because resources are always limited and assistance through volunteerism or donation makes the overall community stronger.

Jakob was recently named the 2012 Chairperson for the Holladay Chamber of Commerce. She is currently a member of the Women’s Philanthropic Network, the Holladay Chamber, Smart Women In Marketing (S.W.I.M.), the Park City Women’s Business Network, Mountain West Capital Network, Corporate Alliance, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and is vice president of membership for the Utah Chapter of N.A.W.B.O. She is also on the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund’s review committee.

As part of her personal beliefs, JMP actively donates both time and money to over 13 nonprofit organizations, locally and nationally.
