Sharkee’s Bar & Grill

In a smaller town, this was a pleasant watering hole attached to a nicer hotel. The bartender was friendly and exhibited the the right level of attentiveness to get a good tip and not seem pushy. We didn’t try the food, but we noticed they churn out pizzas here at the cyclic rate and they looked pretty tempting. The suds were fresh and I’d venture here again next time I’m in town.

Being from California and here on business staying in the hotel this is nice TV sports on, great choices on tap with good food. No need to go out !

Really good. I had a few local beers and burger. The kids loved the hand tossed buffalo chicken pizza. The hotel was clean and well appointed. Nicest hampton I’ve been at.

I’m not sure I will be going back to this restaurant anytime soon. Service was good, and the food wasn’t too bad, but the spinach artichoke looked so unappealing, and you could tell it came right out of the microwave. The prices were a bit high for the portion sizes.

Staying at the Hampton, this was a good in-​hotel restaurant.
Our service was good. Two people checked to see we had placed a drink order, then one server was always nearby to see how we were doing or get drinks /​condiments.
We shared a Wedge Salad and Chicago Beef Quesadilla (sounded interesting!), which was perfect for two at the end of a day of travel. The salad was fresh, with ample strawberries, walnuts and onion. We ordered the Bleu Cheese dressing, which came in a packet, but was decent. The Quesadilla was unique, and fairly interesting. Not a top notch creation, but tasty and fun.
The restaurant itself sits between the lobby and the pool area. It is a sports bar with several games playing, and a classic rock music track. Volume was moderately loud in the main restaurant area, but a seating area on the side was actually good for a conversation. Everything seemed clean and well maintained.
Overall, the food was only 3 stars, but the service and setting made it better. Also, considering it is part of a hotel, it’s as good as many I’ve tried, save a charming few.
When in Holland, the hotel is nice, and the restaurant great if you’re staying here. Maybe not special to stop in if you aren’t staying here, but still a good place to hang out and watch a game.
