I was really disappointed to hire attorney donaldson. All he asked for was a big representation fee, and after that, he never did anything with respect to my case. I had continually tried to call his office to have him contact me through some means (telephone, emails, letters) to discuss my case, and he never responded to me. He also didn’t show up in court to represent me in legal proceedings. It was rather the other attorneys in his office who did his job, and that still happened when my case was almost coming to a conclusion, and I was pushing very hard on their law firm to do at least do something about my case. During the three to four month period m case was proceeding in court, I had continued asking their staff members what attorney donaldson had done to help out with the case. I was getting different answers that seems to be in conflict with one another. Specifically, I was hearing stuff like :“attorney donaldson is busy” «attorney donaldson is notified of your case and will contact you» «attorney donaldson is working on your case but we are unsure what he did» «attorney donaldson takes clients into the firm pans someone else works on the case» etc… And then the other attorneys said there was a dichotomy between the fact that I hired them for zealous representation and that I did not trust them at all. When the case was closed, I asked their staff member to present me with a receipt showing the amount of time devoted to the case. And It was made very obvious that attorney donaldson had done absolutely nothing other than charge an outstanding fee.
Moral of the lesson: if you want your clients to trust your law firm, you should assume responsibility for your clients and treat them with great care, other than fooling them around with your clients about what you had done with your clients’ case.
If I had known about the legal system as well as procedures underlying a legal representation, I would also have known earlier that attorney donaldson wasn’t being responsible and thus changed attorneys and asked for my fees back before my case proceeded in court under his «representation».

Would not recommend him to anyone. Minimal amount of contact, horrible legal advice and no amount of concern for his client (me) once his fee was collected. Changed attorneys but it was too late to undo a lot of the things he advised me to agree to.
Be careful. One star because I have to have a minimum of one.
