Even though I was a bit of a tough customer (ie. had them start my taxes then cancelled my service to try to do it myself, brought my taxes back to them, cancelled my next appointment with short notice, came in 10mins late to my next appointment and stayed 15mins over), they still provided me with excellent service. David was patient and made sure he got me the biggest return possible and even gave me a little discount! Overall, even with a semi-​complicated return, it was very affordable and easy for me. I can see why my mom has gone here every year for almost a decade. I used to be an accountant snob, but now I’m an H&R block convert.

This is my 3rd year using this place, and it is always fine. They spent plenty time with me even though I had all my paperwork organized and categorized. I would do it myself but we have some odd sources and lots of paperwork. Trust me, for their $ 600 fee I would rather do it myself if I thought I could.
I don’t really care for them calling to make an appt in January, as there is no way I have all my papers in before mid Feb. anyway. And to call for another appt. And to call for an appt. the night I returned from just having my appt. Their computer-​generated marketing is kind of a pain.

I went to H&R Block to do my 2008 tax return. They took their time and were very helpful with all my questions. They had wonderful customer service and were very fast. I appreciated the attention to detail while they worked on my return. H&R block is a professional Tax service.
I will DEFINITELY return next year.
P. S. I took my return to Lopez first because of John’s review but H&R Block beat Lopez refund by $ 900. They also lacked the professionalism I got at H&R Block. Thanks again H&R Block.

BOTTOM LINE:
Went here and was helped by Steven Brown. Who apparently doesn’t know a thing about taxes.
He said my refund was 1400. Lopez tax service got me almost 2600.
He wanted to charge me 430 bucks for the service. Lopez tax service charged me 360.
I ALMOST lost 1200 bucks filing here.
NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!
I work to hard to get shafted that bad.
