History

Established in 1986.

Holliston True Value Hardware store began in the 1940’s as Adam’s Hardware on Central Street in a building that was located in the parking lot behind Fiske’s store.

Later the store, known as Condon’s Hardware, was located in the Odd Fellow’s Building, next to the Superette. Roger Bemis bought the store in 1985 and in 1989 relocated and enlarged the store at the present location on Central Street in the building that had been home to the United States Post Office

Holliston is fortunate to have a handy convenient hardware store that has just about anything and everything a homeowner might need. If not, it will be ordered

I am a life long resident of Holliston and a 1993 Holliston Highr school graduate. I am married and have a daughter.

Keith McKeown, a long time employee, has recently purchased the popular hardware store from owner Roger Bemis. As a young high school freshman in 1990, Keith McKeown began his career in hardware working for Roger Bemis, the owner of Holliston Hardware.
