Wow, and they work in a hospital [that I have been a patient of for 3 months with a premature child and a horrible triple internal infection myself] that treats children from all over the country, is one of the main cancer institutes and is a trauma center… but they have horrible customer service and manage to rip off the patrons and families and friends of the patience in the hospitals… Rude, wrong, uncaring, unclean, unsanitary and possible health violations… Mind you I have watched them every day for 3 months.

This Au Bön Pain is the only saving grace at Memorial Regional. It’s tucked away in the back close to Joe Dimaggio. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. I as in the hospital for a month and half and I didn’t know it was there for a good two weeks into my sentence… I mean stay. I’m not sure what time they open but I know they’re open really late, midnight to be exact. Any time of day you go there it’s buzzing and packed with staff. It’s a great place to «Doctor Watch» if you know what I mean *wink*wink*. It’s your typical Au Bön Pain. You have your daily variety of soups, you have your sandwich bar. My favorite was the refrigerated food section. They always had a variety of salads, juices, fresh fruit, fresh fruit and cheese combo. I made friends with some of my fellow prisoners… I mean patients and every night we would go down to Au Bön Pain buy fruits and cheese and then have a little picnic in my room. Sometimes we would go crazy and buy a bottle of Orangina! Au Bön is great little oasis in the hell that is known as Memorial Regional Hospital. It’s a great alternative to the crap they serve in Mcdonald’s. If you’re ever unfortunate to be at Memorial be sure to check out Au Bön Pain.
