Established in 2013.

Leaf it Up MedSpa came as an initiative to bring more healthy options to Hollywood Broadwalk as well as to offer the locals and visitors of South Florida, including Aventura, Hollywood, Hallandale, Fort Lauderdale and North Miami, an exquisite but casual wellness destination. Owned and managed by physicians, Leaf it Up’s was established with the mission to renew one’s energy and enhance well-​being, beauty, and vitality by combining traditional spa therapies with state of the art technologies. We wanted to create a community of inspiring people to motivate others to transform their lives. We wanted to developed a new concept that care for the individual holistically and help the person to thrive and heal with an unique Mind-​Body approach. We knew we could not be on a traditional medical office, we wanted to create a «wow» experience, and for that we needed a «wow’ location. Leaf it Up spa experience start since you get out of the car as soon as you feel the ocean breeze.

Business Owner

Ivel is a MD with a special passion for wellness, nutrition, fitness, yoga and meditation. She has made her mission to educate the public about the healing and preventative power of simple ilifestyle choices. Several years ago, moved by the current healthcare crisis Ivel, embarked on a journey to develop a tool to connect individuals with similar health challenges, to inspire them to restore their health, and transform their lives. On this journey, Ivel found herself rekindling her passion for medicine and becoming not only a better doctor, athlete, wife and mom, but also an inspiring wellness and health activist. Soon her husband, Maximo, enthusiastically joined the project. With his own experience as cardiologist and his practical approach to life the team become stronger and launched Leaf it Up Lifestyle MedSpa and Wellness Center on April 2013 at Hollywood Broadwalk. That was followed by the launching of a Leaf it Up skin care line and Leaf it Up nutritional supplements.
