So, last month I had my good friend ask me if I knew anyone who own a limo company? First person to come to mind was LTG MIAMI LIMOS. Known Raul for quite some time, he’s always offered his services and discount. I never took him up on the offer, never needed to. So I took the opportunity to help out two people I know, one being a good friend of mine… Moni Steven. The other an acquaintance which is LTG.
Moni and Steven gave their deposit to hold the limo. They date of their reservation comes around, they get picked up along with some friends and everything is going smoothly. Until… roaches, yes roaches start popping up in the limo, crawling and running around them and their friends. Moni takes pics of the critters! The night continues and the next day they reach out to me and inform me of this.
I text the owner Raul and let him know what’s going on. He responds with…“Wtf? Roaches? No Wayyyyyy. Pls send them!”. Stating the limo had a wedding earlier and he know it wouldn’t be detailed before picking my friends up. Ummmm, so you rented a limo knowing it would be somewhat dirty?! Time goes by… he emails my friends saying…“I will refund you the money”.
Then he wants to come around and say…“I cannot refund you the money, I can offer you a 25% discount on your next ride”.
NO! You do not say one thing and then come back and say you can’t and want to do another! Like I told him, she is not interested in doing business with you again. So your discount is obsolete! I texted him earlier today and he said he would refund them. Now I get a message with the email he sent saying…“He can only refund $ 50″!!! REALLY?! You charged them $ 180 deposit… THAT’S WHAT YOU COULD HAVE HAD DECENCY TO REFUND THEM! Assuring your good business sense and customer service reputation!
But, since you didn’t now this is what you get! The Unilocal reviews will be going up by not just them. But, by those who were also in the limo with them. You had more than enough time and your chance to right the wrong!!!
I still cannot believe he used the «friendly discount» against her refund. For the lack of proper service they provided.
