DON’T, DON’T DONT, even think about stepping on that trap… Took my simple older Volvo 240 for a brake job. Brought my own performance parts. They charged me $ 700 on my debit card 3 days after they receive my car. 2 weeks later and I finally was able to rescued my car given to me without brakes. I almost had 2 accidents on my way home. Mike has great customer service and a great salesmanship. A waste of talent in that mediocre shop. Mechanics have no clue and they come and go as if they have a revolver door. More that mechanics are apprentices. They hold no business ethics nor responsibility to customers and yet they are in business. Giving a customer a car without brakes to go home is like giving a child a loaded gun. I made it home, robbed of my money an without my working car for 2 weeks. The perfect foundations for a disaster and a law suit. Next customer might end up in the hospital or the cemetery. This is chapter 1 of many.

I called this repair shop told him I was having noise coming from my rear axle, he tells me drop the vehicle off put the keys in the box I’ll check it out. I can feel the hairs standing up on my neck warning me of trouble. The best decision I think I’ve ever made. I drove by their he sells junk cars I walk up he greets nice guy. I begin to explain my problem with my car. I’m a mechanic rebuilding a rear differential is a job for a specialty shop that is all that they repair. So I know I’m wasting my time I tell the yr make, I have torsen differential this man tells me he has twenty years experience doing differentials but he has no idea what a torsen is. He knows nothing about differentails nothing at all. Now I’m having fun he’s calling for prices gives me a quote $ 2300 plus tax and shipping okay I can purchase a custom built bullet proof complete rear axle with installation for less then $ 2000, as I pay for almost everything in cash.
