My new go-​to place. Absolutely fantastic cuts, amazing staff, and the owner Yanee is the world’s biggest sweetheart. Definitely come check them out!

I highly recommend Vous Hair Salon. I’ve been going to Yanee for haircuts since the year 2000! I’m such a long-​term customer that it’s hard for me to even know what to write b/​c I don’t have the fresh perspective of a newcomer who is analyzing everything.
Yanee always gives me a great haircut (I have hair like Tom Hanks for whatever that’s worth), and adjusts to whatever I’m asking for… like «shorter than usual» or «not too short» (there’s not much more direction in my repertoire). She’s fun to talk to, gets me in & out quickly, plays good music, charges a fair price and overall provides a great service.
The salon has a team of people working there and do both men’s and women’s hair and all kinds of coloring, etc. I’ve gone to Yanee every time since 2000, so I can’t give feedback on anyone else other than to say it’s a friendly, loyal team who have all been there for years. Vous is conveniently located on Melrose, across the street and a bit East of the high school. There are parking meters on Melrose and free street parking on the side streets. Check it out!

I am always impressed with Vous and I swear by Angelina — she’s always been reliably talented, and infectiously pleasant. I’ve called upon her at Vous since 2013 and haven’t looked back.

Yanee! She is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for about a year now and she consistently amaze me, even when I’m just going in for a quick trim up. She takes direction amazingly and gives you EXACTLY what you ask for! She has the sweetest personality, you’ll just want to hug her! She is the best I’ve ever had! No one else is getting near these locks as long as Yanee is near!

If you are anywhere near Melrose in West Hollywood go to Vous Salon. Ask for Ralph and get a color and cut. I’ve tried lots of hairdressers and he rocks! Not only will you be happy with your hair but you’ll have a fun time!!!

I love this place. It’s not snooty like other hair salons in the area… and Ralph is very talented (an overall great stylist). I will be a regular customer.

Just had my hair colored by the fantastic stylist, Tina. Not only is the color the most flattering I’ve had, Tina took additional time to add more color on the crown and make sure my hair was perfect.
Going to the salon can be a bit of an ordeal because stylists can be very rough when they blow dry and style my hair. Tina was very gentle without having to be asked. In addition, she didn’t add a lot of product to my hair, which let’s my hair move naturally.
The prices for color are very reasonable, and obtaining an appointment is very easy at Vous.
I’ve lived in this area for a couple of years and it has been difficult to find a great stylist that I can rely on coming back to in the future. I look forward to going back to Vous and having my hair styled by Tina, she’s a wonderful person.

I love this salon! The staff is so welcoming and so good at what they do. I’ve had a good experience every time. And I feel fabulous after!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. I went to Jaz for almost four years to style my hair while I was in LA. When I return, I will not think twice before going back to her. She’s just great.

My hair is not easy to manage, so needless to say getting a perfect haircut is essential to taming the beast. Great vibes, comfortable atmosphere, and affordable especially for the area. My hair dresser was named Toko and I didn’t even have to tell her what I wanted because she just knew what to do. Added bonus– the amazing shampoo/​head massage before the haircut.

I love everything about this place. The neighborhood, the shop itself, the prices, the people… but ESPECIALLY James. He took my short, yellow hair to a platinum, Pink-​like cut. I look at least 5 years younger… My hair is healthy and people look at me differently. I exude confidence with edge.
I’ve booked my next appointment with James for next week. Can’t wait to come out and look super fierce!

This review is for Tomoko. Thank you! I really love my hair. I wanted very light subtle ombré highlights, with a little bit of layering to lighten up my dense hair. and she did exactly that. She kept talking and asking me questions to keep me from being bored throughout the process. i really appreciate her service and effort. i am very happy with my overall experience here at Vous air Salon.

Prior to frequenting Vous, I had been very loyal to another stylist for a very long time. When I decided I needed someone different to cut my hair, I was unsure where to go. I am so happy I found Yanee and Vous hair.
Yanee is the best. When I first saw her, I brought in a picture of how I wanted my hair to look, and she duplicated it *exactly*. I was so impressed. Also, she is patient and will work with you to get your hair looking exactly how you want it to look. Yesterday after I left Vouz, I decided that I wanted a few changes. When I returned, Yanee was very happy to make my hair look perfect. Also, when she shampoos my head, she goes out of her way to massage my neck and scalp. It is so nice.
I highly recommend this Yanee and establishment.

If your gonna color or pull out that color, go here and let them do it. They are the best when it comes to colors. The cuts, the best too. You can’t put a price on a great cut and color. This place is professional and clean. Beautiful people work here too. You’ll look beautiful when you leave.

Angel has kept my hair straight with Keratin treatments and free of gray. She asks the right questions and shows you exactly what she is going to do your hair. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good prices.

the stylist, James, understood exactly what i wanted.
He was meticulous paid careful attention to my hair at all times
but also was very friendly and joked around with me

My husband has been coming here for a while and we both loved what they did with his hair so I flipped through all the reviews and decided to book an appointment with Jaz. I decided on her because I actually liked that people had said she’ll tell you if what you’re thinking won’t work for your face or hair. I respect it when the hair stylist knows what works and isn’t afraid to say something if you’re steering it in the wrong direction.
I actually was completely open to ideas so she talked me through what she was thinking and it sounded great so she got to work.
I absolutely love what she did with my hair. Its probably the best hair cut I’ve had. Jaz definitely knows what shes doing. I also found her to be personable and funny. Appointment started right on time– another major plus in my book.
I highly recommend this place. My husbands stylist is Yanee (the owner) and I loved Jaz so you’re in good hands with those ladies.

2 stars for the great location, private parking lot, decent service and staying open past 7pm.
Everything else, forget it. The stylist here (i forgot her name) does not know how to give a proper fringe. She kept going back and forth and adjusting and not taking my natural part or face shape into account. In addition, the layers were horrendous! Choppy and unbalanced, I was left with a «shelf» of hair off to one side.
I had my hair cut here back in May 2010 and I am still reeling from the damage. My part is never the same and I have patchy thickness throughout. I am waiting for my hair to grow this out, but even after 3 *wonderful* haircuts at Trust! Salon in WeHo, I still cannot get my hair to how it was before. I see now that a bad haircut is more costly than you would think.
