Welcome! We are a low cost spay and neuter clinic serving the New York Metropolitan area and central New Jersey. We are located in Monmouth county. Dr. Rebecca Jane Potter and Dr. Adrienne Hancock-​Brown are the head veterinarians and owners.

We see dogs, cats (including TNR), and rabbits. Private clients, rescue groups, shelter and community cat caregivers are all welcome. Dr. Potter and Dr. Hancock are experts in their field, performing over 60,000 surgeries. Please see our website for a full list of services.

Established in 2014.

The Spay & Neuter Center of New Jersey is co-​owned by Dr. Hancock and Dr. Potter. Their mission is to provide the community with superior quality spay and neuter services at an affordable price.

I heard about the place from a friend of mine who had her dog neutered here. She had only good things to say. I called to make an appointment and Caroline answered, she was very polite and informative and got me a quick appointment. On the day of surgery for my pet boston terrier Sampson’s neuter, the check in process was very smooth. I was greeted with great smile and very welcoming staff, who were eager to meet Sampson. I felt in very good hands, fully comfortable leaving my dog with them for half the day. When i picked him up, they were again very thorough with the post-​op care. I would definitely recommend this place to all. Now only if they were to open a location or start taking pets as general practitioners, they could win over anyone as a customer with the stellar customer service and care they offer.

This place is absolutely amazing. I live one hour and thirty minutes away (including traffic) and we found this place online. They charge about 450 to 550 in our neighborhood for a 35 lbs dog but this place charges 140 for all dogs under 40 lbs. We paid 150 total, including antibiotics because my Aussie is a little mature (4.5 yrs).
As soon as we walked into the clinic, the staff was super friendly. They comforted me and my dog as we were ready to send him in for the surgery. After my dog refused to go inside alone, they told me that I could escort my dog into the cage before his surgery because they thought it would calm him down a bit (most places do not let me do this and since I have a rescue that tends to get very nervous and anxious, this was very good for him). We dropped him off at 8 30 am and picked him up at 12 30 pm.
The surgery went well and my dog is doing well!

We took our Rabbit Sofia to get spayed and we absolutely LOVED everyone that works there. They were extremely nice, knowledgeable and if I had any questions they answered without hesitation and we just loved going there. Anytime we have another animal Rabbit or Dog that needs to be fixed, we will definitely come back. They are an absolute pleasure and they took great care of Sofia. If I could give them 10 stars I would, HIGHLY recommended!
