Not only is the island beautiful, but these cottages were perfect for our family. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were great. They gave us a beach umbrella and beach towels, and they have lounge chairs and beach toys, so we didn’t have to bring any of that stuff with us. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets were breathtaking. This place was priced reasonably and we loved it!

What a gem of a resort on Holmes Beach. Our one week was not long enough. The cottage, the beach, the staff — all were top notch. Definitely want to return again!

We stopped at a beach entry for a stroll & saw this place from the waterfront. After continuing our drive N through Anna Maria Island(AMI to the locals) we stopped in & toured 2 of the 3 vacancies. We opted for the Mango hotel type room instead of over-the-office room on the road, or across the street cottage. We enjoyed the sunset & warmth of the beach towels that came w/the room. Dinner at Tide Tables, dessert at Tyler’s Ice Cream & breakfast this a.m. at Ginny & Jean E’s. We missed the drum ring(N of the Inn) Friday night & Sat. a.m. beach yoga(S of us) — a reason to return!

So far so good. Excellent beach. Awesome sunset. Staying in the orchid room. Small but cozy. Clean, fresh towels, free beach chairs to use. Eric and staff very friendly:)

This place fit us in on 4 days notice! They were the only beachfront place with a vacancy. Great location, loved the beach atmosphere & amenities. The only downside was that the suite didn’t have a single extra towel in it and on our first night there, the toilet clogged & overflowed & there was NOPLUNGER in the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. We had to request a plunger from the front desk, with the toilet overflowing all over the bathroom, and they didn’t even bother to come over and mop it up.

Enjoyed my stay at Cedar Cove. The only recommendation is to book a top floor suite. I was on the second floor and experienced footsteps from my fellow vacationers, similar to living on the lower floor of an old house. It was OK until I learned my fellow vacationers were early risers, i.e. 6am on weekdays! The resort was laid back with a terrific view of the Gulf.
