Established in 2002.

Determining the Island needed a shipping/​mailing center, the founder created the business from nothing in 2002. After 11 successful years, the business just changed hands to the new owner, Eric StJean. Come in and introduce yourself! We would love to meet you! Eric StJean has over 16 years of highly successful dental supply and equipment sales experience with a fortune 500 company. Prior to his career in dental, Eric worked for 10 years in the hospitality industry in Baltimore, MD, while earning his degree in Business from the University of Baltimore. He enjoys providing top notch customer service to his customers.

Eric and Rebecca are such a great team – they help me with challenging and complicated shipments. I don’t know what I would do without them!!! They aren’t just a shipping service… they are part of the community. They have local art and products for sale inside the store – trying to help their fellow business owners! They also have an internet café with very nice computers & large screens. They’ll help you with even the most daunting shipment, and they’ll research and find you the best deal and the best shipping insurance. I have shipped two planters weighing 60 lbs and measuring 60 inches long (yikes!) AND a huge WALL made of driftwood and plants – both of which they handled gracefully and efficiently. What would I have done without these guys to help me!

Another fabulous experience with Island Mail and More! Rebecca and Eric are amazingly helpful! We have shipped boxes to and from their super store the last two trips to AMI. It’s such a pleasure to ship down items from home and not have to try and jam it all into luggage and pay airlines overage fees! And on the way home, their services are priceless! We over did it in Bealls this trip… Island Mail and More to the rescue! Eric is the best packer you’ll find, getting a seemingly huge amount of clothes into a small little box! We will recommend them over and again!

I was trying to close a very important business deal and needed a notary. I went online and found this business. Rebecca answered my call. I explained that I was not going to have the documents I needed to ececute until after normal business hours. She gave me her personal cell number!!! She told me to call anytime after hours and she would meet me anywhere and anytime! Now thats SERVICE! I am sad to read on Unilocal that the only review this company has is with a customer, Charles P., that had a bad experience BEFORE the current owners Eric and Rebecca purchased this business. I hope Charles reads my review and gives these new owners a chance. I know he will be elated with the difference they make!

Great way to ship to the beach and back home again. Eric and Becca are great owners friendly and helpful. Plan to use them ever year on our annual trip down to Anna Maria Island.

If I had it to do over, I would have made the drive to Bradenton rather than be hassled as a «non-​revenue» customer & be told I was less important than other customers because I showed up with a prepaid Fedex package.
Lose the attitude and greed Island Mail or lose customers! I would recommend slipping them $ 20 up front if you want service!
