Darb’s Crystal Bar

Great place for a beer! Not much to look at, but everyone is that frequents this place is nice, and they have great happy hour specials

This neighborhood pub is part of a trio of local bars (one in Mason, one in Eaton Rapids) that is owned by the Darbor family. Crystal bar is always decorated in the season’s lights … or Forth-​of-​July flags, etc… The bar is cash-​only — there is an ATM. Keno from Michigan Lottery is available.
What you’ll find: drinks… full bar + several tap beers (Miller Lite, PBR, a Bell’s variety). Food is limited to a help-​yourself popcorn machine (highly recommended) and several snacks on the wall.
The bar doesn’t mind if you bring your own food or order from a local pizza joint, etc.
The crowd is generally of the local variety … working class … you can usually chat with anyone and the bar is friendly if you stop in for a beer alone.
Saturday evening karaōke starts about 9pm. Other nights feature a jukebox.
Negatives include a pretty serious second-​hand smoke situation.
