Shield Pest & Termite Control

These guys are fantastic! White Flies were killing my ficus with no end in sight! I tried other treatments, nothing worked. After the first treatment and, in less than 3 months, my ficus started getting green again. The guys who come to your home are down right polite. I feel good about everyone I have spoken with. Family owned and run!

Had Shield come out to spray my lawn for weeds and bugs. We agreed upon a quarterly service but was told if I needed service in between visits to call it in. Every visit was to be billed at the time of service. After 6 months I noticed my front yard was full of moths in the grass. Knowing this was a bad sign I called Shield. They assured me someone would stop by and spray. 2 weeks later I called again to let them know that nobody called or stopped by. They said that their trucks were only carrying weed killer that month and they couldn’t spray for bugs but someone would call me back. Flawed business model for a pest control company. Called just now (2 additional weeks later), they had no records of my previous calls. The grass now looks very infested and its probably too late to save it. Cancelled service. My advice is find a better lawn care service, they clearly don’t have this service down.

I hired this «company» to tent my house for termites. I signed a contract and paid 50% up front. The contract had small print stating they were not responsible for roof tile damage.
Well, the good news is they appeared to do the fumigation properly.
Bad news is they did more than break a few roof tiles. They broke almost 50 tiles and damaged my soffit so badly my roof leaked. I sent them a letter demanding their insurance info and some sort of compensation for the damage.
Their response? Threats of a lawsuit. NIce customer service.
My opinion: STAY AWAY from this company!

Shield has been spraying our yard to keep down the ticks and fleas for years, and has done a fine job. We used them for the usual decennial termite tenting and fumigation a few years ago, and that worked out great. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.
