My 30+ year old washer and dryer that came with my house decided to go on strike so it was high time to get some replacements. I didn’t want those new fancy front loaders with all the mold and mildew problems. I wanted a good, old fashioned Speed Queen washer and dryer because they are the best on the market. Lorenz is one of the only places that sells Speed Queen appliances for residential owners and I was happy to get two floor model units for a fantastic deal. The salesperson I dealt with was helpful and friendly and it was nice to deal with a local business with good parking, and a small showroom where I don’t have to walk all over God’s green earth just to get to the appliances like in the big box stores. Three delivery guys came to the house today and they seriously couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. They even did a test run on the washer and dryer, explained all the features and commended me on making a great choice by buying Speed Queen over the flashy brands. Check out Lorenz if you’re buying appliances. I really wish I had went to them sooner!

We bought our Bosch dishwasher here. We weren’t sure which type or the best brand. The sales staff didn’t push the most expensive one on us. In fact they were not pushy at all. They knew what they were talking about. Also, their installer was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I would buy from them again.

I had been to all the big box stores and was pleasantly surprised by the service I received at Lorenz. I spoke with Kim and she was knowledgeable about the products and was very helpful when it came to ideas about my kitchen remodel. The pricing she gave me was as good or better than what I got from the other places but the personal service was above and beyond the rest. I would highly rec recommend Kim@Lorenz Appliances if you don’t want to be treated as just another contract at the big box stores!

I believe in patronizing local, neighborhood businesses whenever possible.
This store is not in my neighborhood, obviously, but is close to my Mom’s house. So when her dryer died, I decided to order a new one for her over the phone.
I’d been in Lorenz many years ago as a customer, and was happy to see they’re still there.
We decided to replace the old washer too, while we were at it. Both appliances needed to be electric, and I discussed with Tom at Lorenz the possibility of ordering one of them.
That was yesterday.
Today I got a call that they had the appliances, ready to be delivered & installed tomorrow. Now that’s service.
Take down that clothesline, Mom, help is on the way!
As far as price… cheaper than Home Depot. The washer/​dryer were on sale, that helped.
And Tom suggested models with knobs because the modern panels are confusing to some older people. I never woulda thought of that, he was absolutely right.
I’ve exchanged a few phone calls with the Lorenz employees, and everyone has been helpful and wonderful.
Now I hear Mom needs a microwave… haha…
I called & Lorenz has them, whew.
Mother’s Day is gettin’ ‘spensive! I was originally just gonna send flowers…
