History

Established in 2014.

There has been a bar or café in this building for over 100 years. Completely remodeled in 2016, the Twisted Rail displays some features from the building’s past while bringing it into the present. Sonny Burgers have been cooked on the old grill for over 40 years and continue to be prepared the same way today.

The twisted rail is a great place to spend an evening. The service is great, the drinks are strong, and the prices are very reasonable.

This is «dive» of a dive bar as it gets… and that’s a good thing. They attract a lot of kids in the summer … camp counselors i think but when the fall comes it goes back to the old regulars. As for the food? … Very small menu which features a flame grilled burger on an old contraption that looks like it was built in 1862. Just a burger and cheese on a bun and it is so good, you’ll eat 3 of them. And with the prices as they are… you can and have a few beers and still not spend over 20 bucks here. Great place… and burgers to die for … especially if you eat more than 4 of them (which i almost did…)
Oh and they have single $ 2 Pierogies as big as your face with sourcream! Great bar food

The burgers and Pirogies are awesome! I also recommend the Bloody Mary’s especially made by Maggie! She is great! Mike from NorthEast Firearms suggested it and we really enjoyed our afternoon! We will be back!!!
