The ultimate souvenir and convenience store. We went in here to see if they had any decent t shirts, nuts, and wine, and came out satisfied with all three. This place is huge, and has a ton of snacks and soft drinks as well as a great beer and hard alcohol selection. However, the wine selection is the best I’ve ever seen in a store of this kind. Reserve selections included opus one, Camus, honig, the prisoner, and many more. Regular selections included layer cake, Livia felugia, and many many others. We went with one bottle of layer cake and one bottle of honig, a bag of Maui onion flavored nuts, a few t shirts, and a Maui embossed corkscrew, all for under $ 100. They even have a great rewards program. These abc stores were everywhere in Waikiki beach, and they were super convenient and had just about everything we were looking for. The only thing we wanted that they didn’t have were wine glasses, but we were able to pick these up at the hotel anyway.

Wish ABC was on every corner here on the Mainland! Most anything you need can be purchased there, food, drink, clothes, sundries, 5 Tees for $ 20. No matter where you are staying on Waikki, ABC is within 25 feet. Do save your receipts and you can win a Hello Kitty shopping bag or a Hula Girl coffee mug. I especially like they stock SPF4 suntan lotion and spicy soy sauce.

It is what it is, great quick stop shop, food, gifts, and more. Friendly staff very helpful. Was pleased to hear that it was only owned by one family, a very happy family! Great Job, you should spread the stores friendly atmosphere to the stateside shops that cater to vacationers, they could use a lesson from you!

I mean, for a convenience and sundry shop – woohoo! Decent and cheap salads and sandwiches(for a convenience shop) and a great selection of affordable bottles of wine. Perfect. Great snacks and an excellent array of sun screens, etc. I kind of love ABC stores.

Two words: Bottled Water. Cheaper than the $ 3.50(!!!) at most hotels and is typically 99cents for locally bottled agua. This is great because who wants to drink tap water from the dated water fountains? Stay hydrated and save your $. The other pros of these stores are souvenir specials and the convenience of literally every block like the other reviewers have mentioned. So for these reasons I can’t help but admire and appreciate their 1) biz model(conquer Waikiki one tourist and local at a time – besides food pantry and the one Longs and some smaller mom&pop shops, this is it in terms of convenience stores – no City Targets here) 2) marketing approach(these smart cookies put my fav item allllllllll the way in the back of the store so I have to pass all the tacky flowered leis and key chains) 3) bottled water ;)

I prefer this location of ABC over most, even though they all service the same/similar purpose with variety. This location was just so local to the beach(Waikiki) and some staples. Two doors down from McD’s, Eggs-n-things.

This place looks like a tourist trap with a location on every block! The prices seemed quite expensive at first like most souvenir shops seem to be. They have tons of unique gifts for every sort of tourist though — and even reminded me of a duty free shop people often see at airports. The highlight of the visit was the sample provider — Shoko. We were promptly greeted when we were looking at their selection of chocolates and offered to try a variety of their chocolates to choose the best ones to return home with. Needless to say — she was very knowledgeable about the selection, had great taste and pointed us towards the right direction. We were able to try pretty much every choice of chocolate we wanted in the store and were able to make definitive choices on our selection. I highly recommend people to give it a shot because the selection they have — including — dole and Mauna Loa provides an option for everyone’s taste! The prices are actually very fair when doing a quick google search as well — they even seem lower! Shoko’s friendly attitude and willingness to help made our visit to this souvenir shop worthwhile. I highly recommend!

Obsessed! Love it here! Shrimp cocktail, hello kitty towels, wine, sandwiches, souvenirs, snorkel gear, rafts! And you get a coffee cup or bag when you save receipts and show how much you spent! I love this place and it was lunch every day!

I keep coming back here for her. Cold. Maybe very cool depending on her mood. Either way I cannot resist her. That first time I brought her back to my room was heavenly. I caressed her hard cold body. My lips were drawn to hers like a magnet to steel. She tasted pure and fresh. I could not get enough. She didn’t even break my bank. Was about a buck for a 1.5L bottle of Hawaiian Springs water. So much better than the tap water back at the hotel. As good as Fiji water. Save your receipts. When you have enough saved up in receipts you can get some cool ABC Store swag. I scored a Can Coolie, calendar, and Hawaiian salt seasoning. Can’t wait till the next time I get a juicy ribeye steak to try it on and have an ice cold drink inside the Coolie. :-)

There’s something spooky about a monopoly. Even one as clean-cut and useful as ABC stores. For instance… you could never say to someone… «Meet me at the ABC store in Waikiki.» without Keystone Cop like confusion ensuing. If you were ever robbed at gunpoint in an ABC store and had to make the 911 call… it would take the police 4 days to find you. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed… but all the staff are trained to say the exact same things so there’s this Groundhog Day feeling that you just can’t get away from. «Would you like a candy with that purchase? Keep your receipt to get a free gift. Mahalo.» «Would you like a candy with that purchase? Keep your receipt to get a free gift. Mahalo.» «Would you like a candy with that purchase? Keep your receipt to get a free gift. Mahalo.» *shivers*

I love these ABC Stores! They have a little bit of everything from food necessities, beach items, souvenirs, clothing, anything you need. And its pretty good quality for a convenience store too. They are everywhere on the island and stay open until 12midnight.

ABC = All Blocks Covered. Still the same as my last review though, LOL. I come here for random fast grab and go food like musubi’s or a banana. I still like 7⁄11 better, but in Waikīkī you have to make due with what you got right? Most of them close around 11 or midnight.

Obscene amount of these stores around Waikiki. Definitely great having them around but they are definitely overpriced. If you rented a car, better off buying stuff from walmart or costco if you got the membership.

ABC! These store are great because their AC works so good I think 90% of my time in this store was just to stand in the freezing cold AC. I really didn’t care what else was in there other then just the freezing air. Thanks ABC for the best AC in town!

Got to love the ABC stores. They’re everywhere in Waikiki. You could walk a half mile and easily pass by a dozen or more of them. They are a great place to snap up snacks, alcohol, local treats, toiletries, sun tan lotion or the stuff you forgot to pack. The best part is they all seem to have a friendly staff and good«convenience stores» prices.

Can I just say one thing? HANDROLLS!!! So I live in Maui, and know the drill, you can get good hand rolls and masubi at any Minit Stop or 7−11… But my new fave? Oahu ABC stores! I love how they are packaged separately, the nori in it’s own plastic wrap along with the rice and fish, so your hand roll is crunchy and not soggy when you eat it. For a week straight, my friend and I ate hand rolls and iced coffee from the ABC store for breakfast… And not because we HAD to, but because we WANTED to. Perfect light and fluffy meal before tackling on the city. They also are a one stop shop for almost everything else you need.

How are there so many ABC stores in Honolulu? It’s just crazy! Anything you need for souvenirs, food, beach gear, or even a «Sounds of Hawaii» CD you can get here. Literally like your own supply depot next door. Nothing has been left unsaid in previous reviews but they’re service is good. I bought an innertube I didn’t quite like and exchanged it out without question. I also got a free straw mat for buying 25 bucks worth of stuff. Nice.

ABC Stores are a must when you’re a visitor and need access to things you may have forgotten at home or you ran out of while on vacation or realized you didn’t even need. Like boxes and boxes of Chocolate covered Macadamia Nuts. Or big bags of Dried Mangos. Both of which I’m incredibly addicted to. Need sand toys for your toddler? They have em’. Need swimming goggles? They have em’? Want decently fresh produce, Yogurt and Chocolate Milk to go for a quick breakfast with your toddler son. You will not be disappointed. Its just so handy and nice to have these stores on every corner. I just love them.

Throughout my whole stay in Oahu, i didn’t check into any ABC store until the last day. Why? Because i forgot and was probably overwhelmed at how many ABC stores there are! Even with the expensive prices, i must say the ABC stores are pretty clever to have one on every single corner! It is so convenient and has everything a tourist needs. Snacks, souvenirs, essentials, water, drinks, food, you name it, they have it! You just can’t escape or hide from ABC stores.

These ABC stores are like a bad case of termites! They are everywhere! Each one is unique, though the mainstream souveniers, sundries and drinks can be found at all. The service is very good and I usually stop in to buy the obligatory $ 100-$ 150 worth of stuff I’m expected to cart back on each trip to Honolulu. I’ve never really had time to comparison shop, so I can’t say if they are more/less or the same as a Costco or WalMart, but it’s quicker and my time is worth this! This is Hawaii’s version of 7 – 11.
