Founded by Ken Geer, Kenton R. Geer, and Kenton’s wife Brynn Geer, Ahi Plus+ is committed to providing fresh, local, wild-caught, high quality fish to our customers. We are staunch believers in sustainable, eco-friendly fishing practices and sustainable fisheries.
Kenton, a commercial fisherman, owns and operates two commercial fishing vessels from Honolulu Harbor. Kenton’s specialty is catching wild-caught ahi and other species by handlining and responsible longlining methods. The fish are caught one hook at a time and handled with exceptional care from the point of capture to delivery to our customers.
Located near the commercial fishing piers in Honolulu, Ahi Plus+ is able to acquire fresh, local, high quality fish* and quickly prepare it for delivery.

Kenton G.
Business Owner
Originally from New England, Kenton is the owner and operator of two commercial fishing vessels based out of Honolulu. He commutes back to Kona on the Big Island, where his wife and two children reside. Kenton has devoted his life to everything fish; his enthusiasm for his craft is easily transparent with his devotion to fish, fishing, fishery management and the fishing industry as a whole.
Specializing in catching and handling fresh local fish in the most sustainable and ecofriendly ways possible here in Hawaii. Kenton believes that every fish should be respected equally, regardless of size or species and treats every fish as if his own loved ones were going to be eating it. Kenton treats every fish that comes off his boats as a direct extension of himself. Kenton fishes by strict freshness and icing standards and always puts quality before quantity.
