Aina Imagery

Aina Imagery features the art of photography with images around the world captured by Andrew Honda. Most of his work features the beautiful islands of Hawaii, but he also has moments captured around the Pacific and the mainland.
I was introduced to his work at the Made in Hawaii Festival. He has since opened up a gallery in Hawaii Kai right next to Roy’s (they even offer shuttles for customers from the Leeward side). I figured I’d better grab a piece of his work before he got too well known! Since I’ve put up his Koko Sunset picture in our dental office patients and staff have loved it… it pops out at you, it’s exceptional, I would put that up in my house, etc… many people think it’s a painting with its rich colors. I chose this one because I liked how it had both hot and cold colors in it, with a rich green but yellows/​oranges of the sunset.
Having also just started working, I had a tight budget but Andrew was very understanding and patient and we worked out an option that I could afford. His gallery work is of course the most high quality option, but matte finishes and framing alternatives can help those on a budget like I was.
I look forward to purchasing future work to bring more life to our dental office!
