This Audi A3 Launch Party was so much fun! You got to test drive the new A3 Audi (If you wanted too). Also the food was delicious! Had your choice of spring rolls, french fries bar, taco station, etc. And you don’t even have to go get the food, the waiters were coming around. I was pretty stuffed! The open bar here was a nice touch. And most importantly I got to meet some Unilocalers, since I’m newly Elite! Totally enjoyed the Unilocal elite event, thanks Unilocal!Can’t wait till the next time!

I was so unprepared! spring break was over, school is back, work never left and my friend invited me to be a plus one! So many things, so little time!
Audi has always been a luxury brand for cars. If I wasn’t a ballah on a budget, I probably would invest into buying one. LOVED this event and then some…

— Not over crowded. I could walk around, sit down, stand without feeling like a sardine in a can. The fact that I could get a drink without waiting a crazy line and that they had food still at the end of the night was a implication that it wasn’t over crowded and honestly, who want’s to feel stuffed in a room after work?
— Testing driving that new A3 was AMAZING. the fact that they’re located on lagoon drive and that it’s just a long straight away where you can book it from zero to 80 in less then 10 seconds is a rush for someone into cars. I mean… if that did happen since the speed limit is like 30. But if it DID happen, that’d be pretty cool.
— Food & Drinks were delicious. My fav of the night, were those summer rolls! ohh and that build your own taco thing… genius while i sip on my prosecco.
–Back drop to take pictures making you feel like a rock star… check! totally abused that to take every picture possible.
Thank you Audi & your delightful staff that was so informative and friendly. Unilocal Hawaii, you guys rock for always planning these events & Claire F. for letting me be your special plus one!

Mix together Unilocal+Fast Cars+ Booze+ Great friends= an awesome Unilocal Event! Attending the official Hawaii Audi A3 Launch Party was a great event for me. After using the quick and easy valet parking, went straight to check in which was quite easy. Once inside, hooked up with great friends and of course, hit the bar! Heinekens were flowing and wine was available for whoever wanted some! There was a good sampling of appetizers and the servers really worked hard keeping all the guests happy!
As I understood it, this was the launch day for all Audi dealers across the US and I believe they all had their own celebrations. The A3 is an awesome looking car, very sporty and lots of options available for it. They were also offering test drives of their vehicles, including the A3. I didn’t test drive one since I was already in no shape to drive, but there were others who were lucky enough to have the opportunity to do so.
Great staff and they worked hard to be great hosts to their existing customers, potential customers and the Unilocal family. Thank you Emi and staff for the invite and thank you Audi Hawaii for your hospitality… You got my attention!

Unilocal and Audi threw an amazing party at the Audi dealership with complimentary food and of course, complimentary test drives using their new Audi A3. In addition to having an open bar, a taco bar, lots of pupu’s, DJ Compose on the turntables; Audi was giving away so many prizes! Instagram Prizes, fill this form out and win a prize, just tons of giveaways and I’m happy to say that a few of the winners were Unilocalers! I even won a One Day driving experience a few days later from their Instagram contest! They even had free valet parking! The Audi Managers and employee’s were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. Audi did a wonderful job and I’m always grateful to be invited to a Unilocal event. Thanks again Audi and Unilocal

Way to go Unilocal for bringing members of the community together to support a business!
This was such a fancy soirée. We arrived to complimentary valet, which is very important when there is no parking in this area. If you arrived on time, the check in was easy breezy with two ladies manning a guest list and writing the name tags. Right next to the check in table is a registration table for test drives and the raffle prizes. As you wait for your test drive, enjoy the food and drink provided by the chef of poke stop!
We enjoyed spring rolls, corn dogs, spam musubi, taro kalua pork sliders, ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ fries and a taco bar. My favorite had to be the fries with the best secret ingredient in the world, truffle oil! They also had an open bar, which didn’t make sense to me while we were test driving brand new cars.
I deducted one rare star from an event because of the DJ. They had their music playing way too loud, which forced quite a few of us outside just to hear each other speak.
The car is amazing. I loved that the salesman knew so many little details about the upholstery and dashboard (recycled materials and organic leather). It must have been a successful event since we considered buying the Audi.

The lesson I’ve learned from this is: Audi can throw a party!
They really captured the ambiance here with the DJ and the lighting. As we were driving past, we were like «whoa…that must be the place.» Then when we arrived we were greeted with free valet parking. Awesome! Way cool! Then when we walked in there were so many things that caught my eye: The food, the drinks, the raffle prizes, and the cool customized Audi laser! (I know, I’m a nerd lol)
The food was awesome! Elmer Guzman worked hard to provide all the food for the event and thanks to him we were all full and happy! Some of the highlights were the taco bar and the pulled pork sliders. Yum! The open bar they had looked great too. It was stocked with a whole bunch of wines, white to red. Unfortunately, I was driving so I stuck to water the whole night.
Of course the best part of the party, the test drive! I waited almost the whole night for it but it was worth it. There was one point where the sales guy nonchalantly said «Go ahead and open it up.» and I look to him and say «really?!» You should have seen my face then. haha. After it the drive was over everyone was chucking and commenting on how bright and happy I looked after that drive.
There was also a cool after party we were invited to at addiction but by 9 we were pooped. So we called it a night. Thanks to Audi of Hawaii and Unilocal for hosting another great party!

Yeah baby! I don’t know much about cars but I learned quite a bit at this event last night! Perks of being chosen to go early! Lot of time to eat and drink and drive new cars! Well, eat first then drive and drink after the driving.
The Audi staff working the event were all super friendly and helpful! Thank you for all your work! Jerry took me on my test drive and man, that was a smooth ride! It was a little busy when we came back so we went ’round again! I’ve never looked at purchasing a luxury vehicle but this experience got my brain thinking!
Valet team was great, as usual. I have had experience with them at other events so it was nice to know my car was in good hands.
Food was delicious as expected and I was quite impressed with Poke Stop’s selections. I think my friend and I ate the equivalent of a whole platter of the spam musubi and I also had plenty of fries! Beverage selection was also nice although I only had champagne. Bubbly drink to reflect how I was feeling!

It was ridiculous! They let me behind the wheel! I’m happy that Audi Hawaii doesn’t mind if you’re a little rough with their cars. I was the third person to sign up for a test drive and it did not take too long to have my turn. I floored it down Lagoon Drive and I can say with high confidence that the Audi A3 is a nice car. I also managed to get a glass of bubbly down before pretending to be Speed Racer. Don’t worry, I’m not crazy though. I only had one drink before driving and sobered up before I drove home.
The drinks and food were amazing! They were truly endless. It was a sumo wrestler’s dream! There were all sorts of beverages available including beer, wine, champagne, soda, energy drinks, and water. The food included a taco bar, pulled pork sliders, summer rolls, spam musubis, tempura, and corn dogs! I tried to say no to food after I had a little bit, but the servers were persistent in a good way. Three of them lined up and I said no to the first two, but just couldn’t say no and finally caved, enjoying more food. At the end of the night, there was still lots of food and drink left. Loved it!
The DJ played some awesome music. I wished the lights were turned down a little though, because I was feeling a club vibe, but it was too bright. It was like the party ended, but in reality it didn’t.
My favorite part of the night was the prize giveaway! I would have really loved the Bruno Mars tickets, but I’m happy that I won a shirt. I also received Audi schwag including a keychain flashlight and a nice pen.

I feel bad writing this review, because I normally LOVE Unilocal parties. This wasn’t a party hosted by Unilocal though, so maybe that was the issue. Sara S. and I checked in at about 5:30 and were encouraged to sign up for the test drive. We were all excited for the next two hours about test driving the new A3 (Sara S coincidently is looking to buy a new car too). Then 7:30 came along and we realized the test cars were all parked, like they stopped allowing people to test drive. Boo! Was the list thaaaaat long by 5:30 (there didn’t seem to be too many people when we got there) that 4, maybe 5 test cars were not able to accommodate everyone who signed up before 5:30!!! Or maybe the blond girls in very short, tight dresses and sky high heels weren’t able to find us when it was our turn?! Idk… All I know is that I was bummed that I didn’t get to drive a new A3, even though we were there before the crowd got there.
The food was decent. I was expecting better, just becAuse Audis are awesome. The taco bar was probs my favorite. I thought the spam musubi was a little out of place though. There was a great selection of drinks and the servers were really nice.
On to the prizes. I got super into the Instagram contest (thank you to Gary N. and Garys guest and Sara for helping me out!!) unfortunately, we never got to hear who won because we left at about 8. Why wasn’t the Instagram prize given out at the same time as the others? Or even at 8, when the guy said his thank yous? Ehhh oh well. This next part is gonna make me sound like the hugest brat ever, but this is the first time in a really long time that I haven’t won anything in a raffle like contest! For those of you who know me, you know I’m usually pretty lucky girl. At the last Unilocal event I attended, I won three prizes! I didn’t win anything tonight and was shocked. Ok that’s my rant.
In comparison to other Unilocal events, I wasn’t blown away by this event. I was excited to test drive a car I didn’t end up test driving. :(

I never got to test drive the A3 despite putting my name on the list at around 5:30PM. The system was terribly disorganized… Like we can depend on their showgirls (?? What is their title??) to actually hunt us down in the party? They should’ve utilized a number system or announced names over the microphone or something. At one point I even asked the check in girls what the status was on the list for test drivers and they were completely unhelpful, just shirking all responsibility since the other girls took the lists with them and were walking around. Didn’t even try to help me find one! Oh well. I’m currently checking out new cars too… Audis are a little out of my price range but who knows with some negotiation and planning… Too bad!
Other than that, the party was okay. The cars were nice. DJ was alright. Food was decent and alcohol was plentiful. I won a crooks and castles gift bag in the raffle! Super excited because I NEVER win raffles so thanks Audi/​crooks and castles for that.
This party had more potential but the main point of me coming was to test drive the car and I never got to do that. Oh well. Thanks for the hook ups anyway Emi and Unilocal!And thanks audi Hawaii for hosting!

Overall it was a decent party. The check in ladies were disorganized and chaotic-​ly a mess. I came around 6pm and they had trouble with every person in front of me.
Drinks included red and white wine and a couple of bubblies. Taco bar was yummy! The pupus being served were great and came around at a good pace. The service was also quick to clean up any mess!
Didn’t test drive any cars, was too happy enjoying my buzz. Overall a solid event, just could have been improved.

A great solid event hosted by Audi of Hawaii and Unilocal!As Audi dealerships around the nation hosted a party for the launch of the new Audi A3 sedan, Hawaii should be the tops! This is how you should host a launch party for a new car. Music, food, and fun. Not to mention, test drives. What’s the point in having a launch party for a new car when you can’t even drive them. Driving a car leaves an instant impression, one that if a dealership is confident their new car is a good one, people will like it. Thankfully, Audi allowed everyone to be responsible enough that they won’t get drunk and then test drive the car. That says alot about the dealership actually. They trust their customers.
This will be a no holds barred review from now on. Criticisms are opinions, even if the party was a great one, there will always be faults.
First, the food. Free drinks! Plenty of good ol wine to go along with a various selection of bites. There was a make your own taco stand which being a cilantro lover, I loaded it with cilantro! What I didn’t like is that there was no central theme to the food. Theme being the Audi A3, there should be something geared towards that. Instead we saw sliders, tacos, satays, fries. The food was decent enough to be okay. My favorite would be the summer rolls.
For me, next would be the test drive itself. The salesperson who drove with me was Leilani. A pleasant salesperson, she answered much of my questions and my concerns. She also showed me some of the features found in the new A3. The test drive allowed us to drive down Lagoon Drive and back to the dealership. Plenty of time while potential customers can air out their questions about the car. Which leads to the car:
Certain cars aren’t for everyone. What I found that this particular class of cars aren’t for me. Too small, not enough power. I love my German sedan and in fact, I own one, but another brand. The A3’s 1.8 liter turbocharged engine doesn’t put out enough power to my liking and being front wheel drive, the understeer is prevalent, especially on my first turn with the car. Interior though, is a complete winner. Everything inside screams it is an Audi with very little compromise. Equipped with the MMI package, which puts a screen and touch sensitive control knob in the car, it is very comparable to the A4 sedan, its older sibling. The interior shows no compromise being a smaller car, unlike Mercedes’s CLA250, its direct competitor.
Towards the end of the night, Audi of Hawaii gave out awesome prizes, including a pair of Bruno Mars tickets! Unfortunately I didn’t win them, but I’m happy someone did!

This party was seriously as good as it gets. Well, it would have been nice to drive one of those R8s or the Maserati but we can’t have it ALL right? ;)
They had everything down for this party, from the open beer & wine bar, to the food being passed around (there was plenty, we didn’t have to go hunting for it and the servers were AWESOME), to the excitement of the raffle drawing… everything was great! The food was very tasty… I especially enjoyed the pulled pork burgers and the hot dog on a stick with the orange sauce.
Oh yeah, the new A3 and the test drives… I didn’t forget about that. They had an awesome rotation of about 5 different brand new A3s to take on a test drive. I am a total car guy and wished they had more Quattros to test out, but I can make it out to the dealership on my own later on. This was such a great showcase event for the car.

PS. I didn’t make it out to the after party but I heard there were people heading to Addiction after. How’d that go?

Let me just get over with my negatives first:
–Check-​in was kinda weiiird.. .Despite being a Unilocal Elite and Audi owner (s) it was almost shocking to the ladies at the front that we were checking in for the party when they couldn’t find my name– even though I had my e-​mail confirmation and when I mentioned, «I’m here through Unilocal.» This check-​in was totally unlike any Unilocal event which was fine, however, I didn’t appreciate the lack of warm welcome and uninviting attitude… that’s all you Audi, smh.
–The sales guys were trying much too hard. This event was for FUN and to enjoy food, drinks, and take cool pictures of cool cars. Back off a little… don’t act so shocked when we say we already own an Audi and don’t want another right now. Or if someone says they simply aren’t buying.
Positives:
–The food was good and the servers were awesome! Seriously, AWESOME. They were the most friendly people here. Hola y gracias to mi amigo! You know who you are!
–The DJ was mixing it all up and had me dancing (aka breaking in) my new Steve Maddens
–I met Lai, Steef, Alysa and John F. Very pleased to have met you fellow Unilocalers :)
–Test driving was what you made of it… and I made it fast ;)
–There were prizes, lots of liquor, and an instagram photo competition.
–Did I mention there was lots of liquor? Specifically delicious bubbly?

Whoohoo Elite Perks! This invitation only event put on by Audi Hawaii for the official launch of the new A3 was in my mind a pretty successful party.
Servers walking around with delicious bites made by Chef Elmer Guzman and sounds being pounded out by DJ Compose along with an Open Bar… Auryte!
As soon as we checked in and got our name tags we quickly went to the table to sign up to test drive an A3. I liked that they came to search for me when it was my turn to do the test drive, driving the car with salesman Paul was fun. We talked about the features of the car throughout the drive, I loved that I could manually shift the six speed transmission, now what is a test drive if you can’t open it up! Oh Ya!
*Bad thing. I always wanted an A6 and wifey got to test drive the Q5. Compromise??? SQ5? Haha!

The Audi a3 launch party was an amazing event! With a huge event like this, I’m always worried about parking but I was more than pleasantly surprised when we were greeted by complementary valet parking. The check in was very well organized and extremely fast. The very next table was liquid refreshment! I was happy to receive a stemmed sparkling wine plastic glass.
The service was outstanding with roaming wait staff providing appetizers and clean up. Although we were standing directly in front of the DJs the music was not crazy loud but just right. There seem to be dozens of give away prizes. It was an amazing night. Thank you so much Unilocal and all the Unilocal staff!
