I live in Waikiki and when I don’t want to cook myself or spend a lot of money I go to te Banyan snackbar. I lie the giant. Mozzarella hot dog the best. The shrimp plate is awesome too! I just have to remember to get my stamp card marked so I can $ 5 off when it’s full.

Time for a snack! The Waikiki Banyan Snack Shop has a new owner and the menu has been both streamlined and improved. Something for everyone: On a budget? Get the spinach chicken hot dog. Want something more substantial? Get the chicken plate lunch. Kids? Shave ice or smoothies They even have mochi! Gotta try their acai bowl! Only a couple of bucks in your pocket? Spam musubi. Good prices, flavorful, and healthy! The Shave Ice is absolutely delicious, and you don’t wait in long lines. Located on the 6th floor recreation deck. If you’re staying here, or if you’re close by, check it out.

The food was everyday Hawaiian type dishes but spiced up with great taste. Our family got a sausage dog and chicken plate and agreed that it was delicious! The hot dog had so much flavor that we ate it and the next 2 with nothing on it. If you happen to be walking past or staying at the Waikiki banyan, you should definitely stop by.

If you are staying at the Banyan Waikiki or even walking by stop by this snack bar for a quick treat. It’s located on their recreation deck on the 6th floor. The young man helping us here was super friendly and made one of the best Hawaiian Shave Ice treats that I have ever had. I will definitely. come back to try more of their menu!
