I loved this place! I thought it was super original to have a truck in Waikiki serving fresh fish and seafood. The Asian lady is sweet and their prices are great for the food that you get. Their tables could use a little of wiping and disinfecting but hey you are right on the street. The guy cooking would grab the food with his hands which it didn’t make me very happy regardless how clean they are. Their food was delicious. I tried their shrimp, mahi-mahi and salmon and they were great.

Good place to eat. And because I lived so close to them I could hear their music, which bothered me in the past. But I think they read my review because it hasn’t been noisy. Thank you guys!

Let me start off by saying that my wife and I live here in Waikiki and that we were in the mood to try something different. We had never been here before so we were unsure of what to expect(I didn’t Unilocal it first, surprisingly). We were in a bit of a rush so we ordered a steak sandwich meal to go. The price isn’t too steep for what it is. They load up the fries and you also get a drink. The steak sandwich itself was okay. Not bad, not great. The size of the sandwich was impressive, but the taste was average. Other things I noticed were the prices on some of their menu options. For a food truck the seafood prices were far more expensive than they should be. If you’re going to charge $ 14 – 20 for a plate lunch off a food truck it had better be top notch quality. Judging by some of the recent reviews here, that isn’t the case. Another quick side note; we asked what was on the steak sandwich before we ordered(I have an egg allergy) just to be sure. The lady responded a bit bluntly by saying«lettuce, tomato and onion. That’s it. *pointing to the menu* lettuce, tomato, and onion.» Well, when we saw them making the sandwich and the guy was pouring mayo all over it we immediately asked her if it indeed was mayo. We explained to her that is why we asked if there was anything else on it due to my allergy. She wasn’t the nicest person about it, but we did end up getting a whole new sandwich. Overall, not a great experience. It’s pricey for what it is, only two small tables to sit at, and the quality was average at best. I’d say pass on this place. There are better seafood trucks around the island.

Unfortunately, the truck has new owners and it just doesn’t taste the same. The magic is gone and the prices went up. The people are nice, but not the same, which is a shame. I use to really love this place.

Fast & friendly & very affordable. We randomly chose the shrimp pasta– it’s surprisingly decadent & flavorsome– as well as the chicken, which was very moist. The salad is truly just cut lettuce with dressing drizzled atop, but adds a nice crunch to the meal and nothing else. Overall, a solid takeaway joint just off the main strip.

Amazing food if you just want a quick bite to eat. Mahimahi shrimp combo is my favorite.

Shrimp pasta is crazy delicious and the portion is good for two! Garlic shrimps are also very tasty but shrimps are in shells.

The best mahi-mahi I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp was alright, but the owners should consider renaming the business to Blue Water Mahi-Mahi Co. I also appreciated the very friendly service. The cashier was patient while my girlfriend and I stood for ages trying to decide what to eat. He also took the time to step out from the truck to check on customers and make sure they were enjoying their food.

Not sure why this wasn’t yet reviewed, considering blue water shrimp has been around at various locations for years. Having fond memories of the stall at the international village(now since torn down for new development), we found what would apparently be its new incarnation as a food truck. I understand there to be locations according to its Facebook page At ala moana and the North shore, but this one is at 2463 kuhio, in a parking lot near Waikiki laundromat & famine cellular on your favorite maps app. appeared to have the same logo/typeface and menu items as the old international village stall. I can only assume that it’s either a blatant copy(which should be called out) or the same guys. The food more or less checks out: plate lunch with good helping of garlic shrimp for $ 15. Saw bunch of ppl ordering the steak and shrimp(which I had ordered years ago at the stall). Shrimp&ribs were out of stock, so I’ll have to save that for another time. That probably merits a tip: go early if you want ribs. Recommended. I’d advise the actual blue water shrimp company to mention location if it’s truly theirs.
