A very nice human being who takes his time to talk to us to get to know us. Will be our new doctor!

Dr. Cazin has been my PCP for 3 or 4 years now. I’ve gone to him for a variety of reasons and he seems to really know his stuff and is always sharing knowledge rather than just throwing a diagnosis or prescription at me. He’s been very helpful and has always made me feel like he’s listening and cares which can be hard to find with some doctors. I never have a problem getting into his office within a day or two. His office staff(and wife, who works with him as well) are always very friendly and pleasant.

Since writing this review I have returned to Dr. Cazin for a more serious problem in my shoulder. He saw me the day after I called his office, and again, was an absolute pleasure. I work in healthcare and honestly cannot understand why someone would give him a bad review, I think he’s great.

Dr. Cazin is my PCP, but I will switch that probably tomorrow. Its simple, when people like myself actually make it to the doctor, I’m searching for ways to get better that I can’t do myself at home. The first time I walked into a doctors office and he couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my throat. Looked at it for maybe 2 seconds, said it doesn’t look too red. Maybe STREP he says. Swabbed me for strep throat, but no way for him to test it in office. He has to go and send it through to a lab. He didn’t even want to give me a prescription to at least help the pain. 1. Didn’t feel like he cared at all 2. He won’t get my lab results until maybe one day later 3. Once the lab results are in, if I do have strep throat, which I’m predicting, I need to go back down to the pharmacy. DOUBLEWORK 4. Made me feel 10 times worse just by talking to me 5. Will never go back The reason why people go to the doctors is to help them feel better, Mahalo for doing the exact opposite.

Having recently moved out to Kahala from the East Coast, I dreaded the task of finding a decent Doctor. From past moves and experiences, I had found both good and bad doctors! Prior to today’s visit, just the week before I had visited a local clinic for the same ailment of numb tingling limbs and other complications. I liked the other Doctor, and thought he was probably good for general complications, but he never ordered a blood test, but referred me to a neurologist. I thought that idea was completely incorrect for what I had described to the clinical doctor. I phoned the neurologist and discussed my symptoms with the secretary. She herself exclaimed from what I had explained to her that maybe a neurologist was not the correct way to proceed. So she wanted me to call the clinic and have them send over my paperwork prior to making an appointment. I had asked at the end of my appointment with the clinical doctor if I should have a blood test, and he said no. Well, prior to paying a lot of money to see a neurologist, I wanted to get a second opinion, so I found Dr. Cazin. He was really friendly and professional. I had mentionded nothing about my previous visit with the clinic, nor anything about blood tests, etc. I just mentioned my symptoms in the same manner I had done with the previous Doctor. Dr. Cazin examined me thoroughly, and afterwards he said the first thing we need to do is order a blood test! Wow! I am not going to write a negative review about the clinic, but I will say Dr. Cazin is the man!

I strongly recommend that people do not go to this doctor. So many issues that begin with the fact that he doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing, leaves his patients confidential files stacked on his desk for all to see who walk in, and worse, I had trouble with my insurance and he refused to send me a copy of my file with what he told the insurance until I told him that legally he had no choice(even then he’s making me send him a letter with a return envelope).
