Chinese Acupuncture & Herbs

This is our go to place for Chinese herbal medicine. The proprietor, Dr. Leanne Chee is a no B.S. type of lady. I like the way she looks to solve a specific problem instead of giving you some of this and that to supposedly improve your general health and/​or make you feel better. Over the years, I have grown fond of her.
I am very critical when it comes to the level of competency of medical providers. The majority do not have my confidence. Not so with Dr. Chee who has a solid clinical process which is evident upon her interview of you, the patient. She asks all the right questions and then makes sound decisions based on the answers and her examination (if necessary). She also gives good instructions which is not so typical with Chinese ladies.
Even though I’m still waiting for a prescription to make me Chinese Superman, I’m still a huge fan of Dr. Chee and will be back. Note that the no B.S. aspect of Dr. Chee also applies to her patients.

I came here last week referred by my good friend to see Leeann Chee about my full on asthma. I was given pills to take 4 pills 3x a day until this saturday and the other half of the instructions was no ice in any drinks and if you eat fruit only room temperature. I didn’t look at the box until I got home. Crocodile bile pills.
But today I went back and she asks me if I’m ready for acupuncture. I’ll never be ready so I just did it. $ 40 for 40 minutes. I think I’m getting better. I’m no longer wheezing and my voice is getting back to normal. I’m going zumba tomorrow to check out the breathing. I had an inhaler before and the steroids from that was making my throat sore. After 3 days with the pills it was no longer sore.
I can’t wait to see how I’ll be in a few weeks.
I can only do Saturdays because of her hours.

She’s only open m thru Saturday from 9– 1pm. And she only likes to address one issue at a time. This is the 1^st time I’ve experienced this with an acupuncturist. Usually if I have a problem w hands carpel tunnel and knee pain she only wants to address wrists. I’m use to getting everything done at once w my acupuncturist at my old place on mainland. But I found the treatment to be effective just don’t like idea of having to keep coming back for thing at a time.

The three of us just walked in and without a wait we were all assisted.
Very helpful staff, very affordable at $ 30 each.
Clean and sterile, each needle sterilized prior to use. That is, each came out of a sterile package and after use went into a biohazard trash container.
Highly recommend this place.
