Nice little crackseed shop. Most of the crackseed is pre-packaged at around $ 6 a bag. They also have small sampler bags for $ 1 if you’re not willing to commit. I got a bag of dried lemon balls which are slightly sweet and bitter.

Nice little neighborhood crack seed shop. I go there when I’m ono for boiled peanuts or pick up some crack seed for a mainland trip. Great variety!

This is another shop in McCully that I pass all the time. I finally gave it a try on Saturday. I parked there on the street, a block from my usual Saturday visits to Waikiki Worm Co. and Daily Bread Bakery. They have boiled peanuts and all kinds of cracked seeds. I wish the peanuts were warm, but nobody sells it warm anymore. Still tasted good, of course. Next door is a store that I used to visit occasionally as a kid. It was where I first got a thick booklet about the new NFL expansion teams, the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL? Expanding? As an 11-year-old kid, this was way too mind-boggling to comprehend. I was addicted to sports without any help, apparently, from a young age.

This is a little crack seed shop that also sells soda and I think cigarettes and stuff. They have a wide selection of seeds and candies, but my favorite is the li hing strawberries. They’re dried, but they’re still soft. So yummy! The li hing mango is really good too. The lady behind the counter is always super nice. Minus star cuz no ingredient lists on anything, but maybe I don’t really want to know.
