This is a men’s concept store located on Kalakaua, built into the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. I had some delightful conversations with a few of the salespeople, who were very friendly. I enjoyed stopping into here! The product offering is far broader and much better presented than when men’s is «tacked on» or shoved into a corner wall in a women’s boutique. Great selection of leather goods, from wallets to bags to bracelets. The prices aren’t nearly as painful as other higher-end brands, and their quality is very sturdy. The store is definitely more«manly» and very comfortable to be in. The design is focused on dark wood and soothing grays and browns. No stark white walls or giant posters of women modeling in heavy makeup while carrying handbags in strange poses. No distraction of loud or excited buyers perusing the women’s lines. It will be interesting to see how prices and product change now that Coach is trying to upscale to more luxury from their«accessible luxury» roots. I’ve never been a big fan of Coach, but what they’re doing here is admirable. One last note: While I’m sure the hours are sometimes not fun for employees, as a night shopper I appreciated their hours of 9am-11pm!
