Specialties

Combining locally made Sweet Cream and a wide assortment of delicious ingredients, we make pure and simple ice cream flavors in-house every day. As if that weren’t enough, you get to choose from an unbelievable selection of mix-ins; from nuts and chocolate bars to fruits and candies. We mix it all up on our cold stone and serve your favorite treat in a homemade waffle cone! You can also have a freshly prepared ice cream cake, cupcake, or cookie creation, and we offer party services, too! All your ice cream dreams come true here!

History

Established in 2003.

As a franchise, we became a part of the international Cold Stone family 10 years ago. Owner, Patricia, visited Waikiki on vacation and decided it just felt like home. She looked back at Waikiki strip from the shoreline and said to her friend, «I’m going to open an ice cream shop here!» From that whimsical daydream, she built the reality. Cold Stone’s time-tested recipes promised success on the strip, but our little shop has become something unique in the community. We are the first job for many local high schoolers, learning their way in customer service. We are a go-to for vacationers on a hot beach day. We participate in multiple charity events annually, putting our product to great use! We build fantasy cakes for birthday boys and girls. We even cater weddings– and the bride always gets to pick her flavors first! We are as big a fan of our customers as they are of our ice cream. Now, we’re excitedly looking forward to many upcoming additions to our shop in 2014!

Manager

I’m Wendy, and I joined Cold Stone in the summer of 2013. I was very much psyched to become a part of this sweet dream of a business. Waikiki Beach out the window, unbelievably delicious ice cream everywhere I turn– and, yes, I sample plenty for quality control ;)

I love calling Hawaii home, and likes how my time at the store allows me to meet locals and visitors and get to know the community better.

Little conversations with people while we’re serving them; that’s what makes all of our days here. I especially love the anniversary couples, here after many years of marriage, still in love and sharing a malt. Come on, what’s cuter than that?
