Awesome! Tried the chicken veggie and the curry ramen. Delicious! Both of them. Not really fast food b/c they make it when you order. Lines can be long so be prepared to wait. On a random Thursday evening the line varied between 2 and 6 people deep as I enjoyed my ramen in the outdoor seating area adjacent to the parking lot. It’s almost like food stalls lined up adjacent to the parking lot but permanent buildings. Almost felt like I was traveling outside the States. Loved it.

I am a ramen fan, not crazy but I’ve always liked ramen. Ramen has so unique of its different styles such as types of noodle, soup and ingredients from shop to shop… So most of times I am enjoying those varieties of differences. I am not a picky ramen eater. Ezogiku, I finally got a chance to try it after many years… Ramen I tried was«Ankake Ramen», and when it was served, it was looked good. Lots of veggies on top with some shrimps and squid in starchy sauce. I started off with very happy feeling. Ankake was actually tasty and I liked. Soup was okay-good, not bad.(I like it anyway). Then noodle I picked under thick ankake sauce… !!! I couldn’t believe myself. It was horrible… How soggy and stretched out noodle it was. I was very disappointed at this point, especially after enjoying soup and ankake. Even noodle self had good quality, that over cooked noodle was ruined everything. — Well, I couldn’t even tell the quality of noodle from what I had I decided to make myself thinking that I was just having a «noodle» dish, not a Ramen dish. (I was hungry, but not enough time left to order again) I had all ankake, actually. When I cook ramen(nama) at home, I don’t enjoy much the depth of flavor in soup compared to ramen shop’s. I always thought the soup is the most important point for Ramen. Preparing noodle in good firmness is such natural thing. That was obviously my fail! I was spoiled! I wish my order was Ankake Yakisoba(Crispy Noodle) in stead. My rates here is 2.5. Honestly, I would have given 3 for the sake of ankake and soup. But as rating ramen shop, I cannot, because noodle and soup are the main two elements. Not because of service or location problem(outside food court is not my favorite, but it’s just… it was just how bad noodle I got. I am not sure it was only my noodle was suck, but right now I am not so encouraged to try that place again…:( Well, I am not even sure after I wrote this, but why I was even expected too much for ramen and being enthusiastic. At the same time I realize ramen is so important for me!

Went for lunch the other day and it was okay. First off it’s CASHONLY. My boss felt bad because it was a business lunch and he couldn’t pay since he only had a credit card, so it was on me. My boss ordered the miso noodles and I ordered the beef sukiyaki bowl and we got a free plate of gyozas because we had iDcards. My beef bowl had a little bit of beef, tons of rice, the beef wasn’t marinated long enough because it was kind of bland but the rice drenched with sauce tasted real good. The free gyozas were tasty, I didn’t ask about the miso noodles so I don’t know if it was good or not. Next time I’ll try a noodle bowl — wanted to order the wonton noodles but I really wanted beef that day.

This used to be one of my more favorite chains for ramen but this time my ramen tasted like sock water and noodles tasted off. Even hubby didn’t sip his soup like he normally does, neither did the little one. And she’s a ramen-aholic like no other, so this was a total fail.

My ramen noodle haven. Have been coming here and to all of the other Ezogiku locations for as long as I can remember. The food is always cooked fresh and is extremely cheap for what you get. I will always recommend the gyoza to everyone and anyone who loves dumplings. It’s the best, cheapest and most authentic gyoza you could get on the island. Noodles + fried rice + gyoza combos are the best value you could get. Aside from food, the restaurant is really small, but usually pretty clean. Service is usually pretty quick and friendly too. Will always come here for fast, cheap and delcious ramen!

Just happened to try this place on my way home from work and I’m glad I did! I think I found my new favorite ramen spot, This place was clean and the staff was very helpful in helping me select my order. I had the seafood champon ramen combo, which came with a mini fried rice and Gyoza .The seafood champon ramen was delicious, lots of vegetables and seafood served on ramen noodles in a nice rich broth. The fried rice and Gyoza were also very good, better than i expected. I definitely am going back for dinner tommorow !

3.5 solid stars. my connosieur of noodle actually really liked it! The set meals are HUGE… Chaahan was a lil greasy but still quite good, the noodles are good and chewy, bettet than most places we have been to so far, but not amazing. It is essentially in the food court row outside the don quijote(they do this in some of their japanese stores, too), we didnt realise there was indoor seating, so we sat with the locals overlooking the parking lot. If you’ve never had a Hawaiian Sun drink before, they have ‘em, so be sure to try.

This Ezogiku is conveniently located in the food area of Don Quixote. If you need your Ramen fix after a little shopping then you’re in luck because they’re right outside. They have all your standard Ramen eatery dishes… Ramens, Gyoza, Katsu, Curries and of course fried noodles. The food here is actually pretty good. Sometimes I find the broth a bit salty and the size of the gyoza’s could be a bit more generous otherwise, the food is a-ok, just as I said above. I feel like the majority of their customers here are those who work in the surrounding areas and do take out. I only say this b/c most times it’s scorching hot out outside and to eat Ramen, well that just loco. But guess what… good thing they have an indoor eating area. Not many people know about it but it’s to the right of the take out window. Now you can eat Ramen any time of day, hot or cold.

So easily delicious! The curry ramen is amazingly tasty, served steaming hot with no phony broth or fake flavoring taste, now or later. The curry ramen is not on the menu, you have to ask for it. Firm eggy squiggly ramen noodle… yummm!!! I ordered the potstickers and hey, it’s all just good clean food! The staff is very nice. Located right in the Don Quixote mini mall area.

One of the best meals I have had in Honolulu. Also, one of the least expensive. Lovely ramen. Helpful great service. Bare bones atmosphere with harsh florescent lighting, but the food makes it sooooo worth the trip.

Every time, I’ve been here, there’s not much of a wait. Venue is small and the atmosphere is quiet. Tables are clean, but I wouldn’t give it an A for cleanliness, maybe a C? Haha Their menu is not too extensive. Food is cheap though, they give a fair amount for the price you pay. Although, it’s not the greatest noodles I’ve ever tasted. Service is ok, not WOW, but not Grr either. Also, they don’t take credit card unless it’s over $ 10, so I’d recommend bringing at least $ 15 in cash(meal, tax & tip), just in case.

This was my first time at Ezogiku. I tried the Miso Ramen and it was okay. It was only okay because the broth didn’t have enough flavor and I wished there were more noodles. There was way more bean sprouts(I love bean sprouts) than noodles. I will try this place again and maybe try the combo and different ramen.

Emm combo c: D When I am looking for a quick meal I always come here to eat some ramen and I must say the shrimp fried rice here is probably one of the best I have ever had. I usually go to the one in waimalu or in town at don quiote. The one in waimalu they make everything in front of you and the food comes out fast. I love it here

Good little hole in the wall next to DQ. Parking in the DQ lot. About 8 tables inside and picnic tables outside. Gyoza were perfectly cooked, yakisoba was OK(wish veggie was more than cabbage), mini raman was very big. Prices were good for what you get. Good fast food alternative.

I always crave the curry ramen(which is not on the menu, but you can ask for it.) I love it especially when I’m coming down with a cold or am sick. It hits the spot and is pretty reasonable for a hot bowl of ramen.

when I crave ramen and gyoza for lunch, I come here. not the best authentic tasting ramen but it’ll do and you can’t go wrong with a mini combo for less than $ 7.

I have frequented this establishment many times during my annual trip to Honolulu to run the marathon. I have never been disappointed as the food is always soooooo good. Their ramen is al dente and their soup base is absolutely delightful. I paid an extra $ 3 for the gyoza combo. Along with my big bowl of ramen, I also got 4 pieces of gyoza and a mini fried rice. Their fried rice is very tasty also. A winner in my books anytime!

Horrible. Noodles way over cooked and flavorless. Broth completely devoid of flavor.

I have been going to Ezogiku for years now… and with good reason. The ramen and gyoza plates are reasonably priced – okay, really cheap, and extremely tasty. My personal favorite is the pork fried rice with some vinegar and shoyu poured over it. OME. I’m missing it so bad! Service is extremely fast and usually friendly. My favorite ramen place so far!
