Fast Rooter Plumbing

Called fast rooter on a Saturday and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Was given a 2 hour time window and told I would be called 30 minutes before the workers were to arrive. No workers arrived and I did not receive a courtesy call. This company’s lack of professionalism inconvenienced both me and my tenant and prolonged an already «crappy» situation.

We had a small water leak near our toilet (not an emergency, but definitely something we wanted to fix sooner rather later). Matt answered my call on a Sunday, scheduled an appt immediately for Monday morning, promptly fixed the problem, and presented me with a fair itemized receipt. Very satisfied with the whole experience and will definitely call him again if we need a plumber.

I had a clogged kitchen sink that needed a plumber to clear. Jay responded within an hour and did a thorough job. He cleared the blockage and snaked my pipe farther to insure he got everything. The price was extremely reasonable for the time spent doing a good job. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Thanks Jay!

They came as was told on the phone. Took them 2 ½ hours to find and repair leak of the upstairs bathroom. Seemed friendly and competent. Charged us $ 338 for parts and labor. Fee $ 95 an hour charged us 3 hours when my wife timed him for 2 ½ hours of work. Over charged us, this part was upsetting! Otherwise it was great

I have to say I am now a big fan of Fast Rooter. I called on a late Saturday afternoon for multiple backed up sinks and it looked like it was going to be a big problem. I was hoping to get the situation resolved Monday morning. Instead a plumber called me within 15 minutes of my initial call and was at my house within a half an hour. Job was analyzed and action taken within 30 minutes. Matt did a great job. He was courteous, professional, clearly communicated the steps he would take and got to work in an efficient and timely manner. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. I will be using them in the future for our plumbing needs.

Although it seems that my review doesn’t matter (Due to their current 5 star standing) I would like to pile on the compliments.
I worked with Junior over the phone to schedule a plumber for a water shutdown with a very uncertain water startup time. Junior informed me that due to they charge an hourly rate of $ 95/​hr and that they would be required to wait until the water was started up to ensure there was no leaking from their repairs to my unit. Junior worked with me to ensure that his plumbers time was optimized, and he gave me a very accurate expectation for how long the work would require.
All of this planning, along with seamless execution by the plumber (I believe his name was Matt) resulted in what I would consider a very reasonable price for 2 hours of work, and a significant number of items being addressed.
For my fellow Unilocalers: I have 5 Angle Valves Replaced, a P-​Trap Installed, and my Shower Drain repaired /​snaked, along with a valve behind my shower repaired, all for just under $ 600. I was honestly expecting to pay $ 800+ for these repairs, so needless to say I was happy with the end result.
Most importantly work quality — So far everything appears to be working great, and during the entire time in my studio, Matt was working diligently.
I will be calling fast rooter again for my plumbing needs!

At the end of 2015 when the Plumbers I contacted (including my regular Plumber) were booked totally solid through the New Year, Junior and Jay of Fast Rooter Plumbing astonished me by being able to come out the very same afternoon I called them to help replace a broken kitchen faucet, which was terribly inconvenient — especially with our New Year’s Eve party coming up the next evening!!! I had to leave voicemails for other Plumbers and they disappointingly called me back after a day or few.
Junior picked up the phone right away and set up an appointment with me later the same afternoon. As promised, Jay showed up and did absolutely stellar work in a quick amount of time. .. my wife and I just couldn’t be any happier at all. This was the first time we tried Fast Rooter Plumbing and definitely won’t be the last!
Fast Rooter Plumbing is highly responsive/​reachable, professional, dependable, honest and reasonably priced. Although Fast Rooter could not get to my place immediately, they did schedule and come early next day. The plumber, Mike, did an efficient job unplugging a toilet and changing guts of 2 sink fixtures– quickly within 45 minutes and a very reasonable price. I have been trying to get a reliable plumber for reasonable prices and think I found the company (the last one would have charged excessively for that same sink fixture and the earlier one I had has only a fax number now). Fast Rooter as a A+ rating from BBB, no complaints in last 3 years, licensed, and has numerous 5 star ratings from Unilocal,so consider them reputable.

Kitchen sink clogged up in the morning. Called one company and they said no availability until the next day. Found Fast Rooter and saw all the great reviews. They answered the phone right away. Got a call back from Jay saying he would be by in 30 minutes.
Jay showed up early (I think I just got lucky with their schedule). He was professional, nice and fast. Explained what the problem was. Finished up within an hour. Jay had an apprentice with him so I got to listen in on the training. Very fair pricing. Highly recommended.

Matt came on time and quickly fixed two toilets and a leaking supply line in my upstairs bathroom. TG this leak didn’t happen while I was away for 5 weeks! Fast, efficient and friendly — nice combination. Reasonable and fair pricing — I Highly recommend this company.

⁶⁄₂₀₁₅ Professional, punctual, and proficient. I forgot da braddahs name but he was cool. Replaced my garbage disposal for me and snaked my bathtub. $ 335 for all the service which was fast, only took about an hr. All my drains are happy and working.

Shoutout to braddah Mike, fixed my bathtub drain pipe. Water leaked thru the apartment below, Mike came by and inspected the leak and stayed late past his shift. It was a complicated one but Took awhile trying to figure it out but when he thoroughly inspected it, he found the leak. Thank goodness. Two days later, he came by and fixed it quick. Great job Mike. Mahalo.

Fast Rooters were excellent! Super happy with the time it took from when I called to when they came out to fix my plumbing. I would definitely recommend them. They were quick, fairly priced, and pleasant to work with. I will call them again if I have any other issues! So hard to find good contractors on the island and I feel I’ve found my new go-​to for plumbing!

I use Unilocal a lot when shopping around, but rarely remember to do a review. However I wanted to compliment Fast Rooter while it’s fresh on my mind. I did a lot of comparison shopping on Unilocal to narrow it down to two or three plumbing services, and got one (quite high) estimate from a well-​known name. I have used several different plumbing companies in the past at my condo and most of the time experience sticker shock when they’re done. Especially on a recent occasion when a plumbing company (can’t remember the name) sent two plumbers to fix one toilet. This time around, there were a number of separate issues to resolve, mandated by the condo association, so I wanted to be sure I chose the right plumber.
Fast Rooter was open on Veteran’s Day and the plumber, Mike, was at my condo bright and early as promised. We went over what needed to be replaced and he went right to work. One of the biggest challenges was pulling out the stacked washer/​dryer and he really busted his okole pulling it out. He was efficient, friendly and thorough, made some good suggestions, and really went above and beyond.
Best of all, the bill didn’t give me a heart attack. Comparing it to previous bills that I’ve had from plumbers, who only worked on a single issue, this invoice was super reasonable. I was very pleased with the service. Will definitely use them again.

Called this company about a slow drain and the guy quoted me an estimated price for what I described to him over the phone. I got another call within 10 – 15 minutes and it was the plumber coming in the next 30 mins. He was prompt, came in, assessed the problem, got his tools, and went to work. He was friendly and knowledgable about plumbing, and in the end very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them if I have a plumbing problem again!

It’s sad when you have to give a less than stellar rating on Unilocal when part of the work was completed and done satisfactorily. I contracted Fast Rooter Plumbing to hook up an ice maker (was done properly), the sink which included the facet and disposal (was done properly) and installation of a dishwasher (not done).
The dishwasher was missing the clips so the installation couldn’t be completed that day. I told them I’d get the clips later that day and if they would come back and install; they said yes. However, after 3 attempts of trying to contact them, leaving very detailed messages, no one called me back.
The subsequent plumber that I hired to install my dishwasher said it was one of the hardest installs he’s ever done. I now believe that they didn’t want the hassle of coming back to finish up the job.
It’s a business’ choice to take or not a take on a job, but on a customer service level, it is entirely rude and unprofessional to not give the customer a courtesy call back to say they are not interested in finishing up the job or even lie and say they are booked up… something. I wasted a week waiting for them to return my call.

Very friendly & professional. They did a job at my workplace and it was quick & affordable. The good result had me call them again for my elderly mom’s sink. Again, very professional & responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
At work we used to use another company that charged much more and started to not show up even when we had an appointment. So glad we found these guys.

Wow, I have to say I was nervous to hire a plumber because they over charge and didn’t want to do it but had to.
I called early in the morning around 7 am and they said they could come between 12 — 2 pm. They quoted me on the phone and I was nervous that they would go way over the quote. They didn’t show up on time but later around 4 pm because they has a lot to do that day. Matt showed up and he was super nice and pleasant. He did all the work and cleaned up and stayed on the low end of the quote.
Honestly he really made my day. I recommend them to anyone that is worried about being over charged because they are very honest with the pricing and very reliable.

Had a water heater installed. Great service and on time! Gonna refer them to anyone who needs plumbing work ! To make it easier on everybody make sure you explain in detail the type of work, location and if can the size of the job .

Had a leaky faucet. Called them Saturday at 12:30. Someone arrived by 2pm. Installed a faucet that I bought. Solved my problem.
7 days later the faucet that I purchased broke and so I had new issues. Turns out a plastic part in the new faucet was not up to the task.
I called them at 7:30am this morning. Someone arrived by 9:30am. They fixed the problem, replaced the broken plastic part with their own metal parts and didn’t charge me anything.
This is how you get a repeat customer.
