This store is spacious and the products are well organized throughout the store. Chris our sales consultant, was very helpful and friendly. He became our friend by the time we walked out the store.
As we waited for our purchase to be boxed, he offered us champagne, coffee, tea, juice and water. That’s giving excellent service.
Stop by and ask for Chris, he’s honest and he will make you feel at ease in making your purchase.

Customer service was excellent! We were greeted ASAP. Workers didn’t appear snobby, very welcoming. I bought a Gucci leather cross body/​messenger bag. The cost with taxes $ 722 and the cost online without taxes is $ 860, Hawaii prices are comparable to Japan’s prices.

My family and I were welcomed by our sales associate for the first time by the name of Junko. No preasure, just pleasure. My family did go to this store numerous times durring our stay in Waikiki. It is a large showroom. Plenty of elbow room. I made several purchaes for myself as well as gift items. With the 4% (HI) tax break and most selected items which are 20−25% off vs. mainland prices it’s no arguement. We were treated with a lot of respect. If you’re not a Gucci person once you step in there it may change your mind. I do have a Gucci fetish so it was difficut not to walk out empty handed with out a mocha brown bag.

Wow. Some of the best service I’ve ever received, I bought a pair of high top shoes and some cologne with absolutely no pressure. I was greeted by almost everyone in the store when I walked in, came in looking for a specific watch that I saw online and the rep I forgot what his name was but he was from japan, he was extremely helpful going out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted. Also the girl named tammie Loeffler was very knowledgeable around the type of cologne that would best fit my style. My favorite part of the whole visit was when they brought out some champagne just for me. That topped it off for me and made the experience not only fun but really gave me the true feeling of what a real luxurious store should be like. When I go back to hawaii, whenever that is, I will definitely be back to visit this store. I hope both of them still work there by that time. Thanks GUCCI!

Who knew Gucci stores in a Hawaii is cheaper than the mainland. I was so happy to save $ 100. Great deal, must not forget

Customer service here is great. I wanted to purchase a particular watch I had spotted online. I called a few days in advance to see if the item was available and if it was possible to put it on hold, the gentleman on the phone was so polite, and was able to hold the item for me. A few days later when I went in to purchase my watch an associate Ida assisted me she was so polite and down to earth, she even informed me about sales they have throughout the year and that she could contact me by email and let me know about all the good deals they would be having. A gentleman who appeared to be their manager even chatted with my 8 year old son while we waited to be cashed out, he was also so friendly and sincere. I really appreciate how professional and friendly the staff is here. It’s a big plus when they treat their local customers just as well as they treat tourists. I love my purchase and my experience here was awesome!

The one thing I noticed about this store was the kids section… amazing…high end quality…

This has to be the best Gucci store on the planet, and yes I did say planet! I have been to many including Tokyo (Ginza, and Harijuku), Italy (Florence), San Diego, Orange County, and of course here.
The staff is always so friendly to me, even with toddler in tow, and don’t give me the cold shoulder because I am not Japanese like they do in the Gucci store at Ala Moana.
I recently thought I was going to have a falling out with my beloved Gucci as I took a piece of luggage in to get repaired back in September of 2012. They informed me that it was going to take 2 – 3 months maybe, but I wanted it repaired correctly so I thought I could wait. Well three months later I gave them a call, and they said that it was going to be sent back to them without the repairs being done! They told me that Gucci tried to contact me via email and phone and they could not get ahold of me… which I find appalling since I get all of the Gucci emails from them, and even person calls Irving me down for when they have a sale to view and purchase items before they go on sale. With that being said, I was a ble to speak to the manager and he sent the suitcase back (I’m still wondering if it was ever sent, this is Hawaii after all) and it was fixed without charge. The bad, it took them 5 months, the good, it was free.
Even though I can’t recommend getting your purse or luggage fixed there without having to wait half a year, I can recommend going and being treated like a queen.
Oh they do offer you beer, wine, champagne, water, soda… I guess if it looks like you are going to spend big! They must have my face on some fa recognition software because I feel like I always get special attention there!

First impression was, Wow, this is a huge store.
I’m a Certified Gucci Sunglass Whore, so I hightailed it over to the sunglass section after I was greeted multiple times by the friendly staff.
They had a large selection of Women’s sunglasses. If you are looking for «Jacky O’s» this would be the place to find classy and simple, not blingy!
I was looking for a more sporty look, but was not able to find a pair that I absolutely had to have. Whatever, it happens!
One thing I did notice were the prices. I usually hit the Gucci stores in Las Vegas. The prices here were about 25% lower and the sales tax is around %4. So, it’s definitely a good idea to get your Gucci splurging on here in Waikiki!

The waikiki store is amazing! The cutest and best selection for babies/​toddler clothing and accessories! Lots of parking and you walk across the street from the parking lot. Walk into this 2 story department store… It is spacious and everything in the store is beautiful! The Toddler clothes and accessories is nestled toward the back of the first level. Towards the left side. I had a friendly helpful Sales Associate help me with my purchase. She also walked me upstairs to check out the sandals that were on sale!
I plan on shopping at this location for my daughters clothes in the near future!

I’ve always received good service here. CHOC CROC is on my wishlist…

What is going on in Waikiki? Not only at this store, but at another luxury handbag store on Kalakaua with less than friendly customer service?
Walking in after 930pm, perhaps these sales women were just tired since it was nearing closing time? Or perhaps I wasn’t a Japanese tourist. Whatever it was equated to nary a hi, hello, or how are you? And mind you the store was pretty empty. We received a more enthusiastic welcome from the security guard! What a turn off!
To top it off, it didn’t seem like they carried the same amazing selection. Even if I was interested in making a purchase that evening, these sales women made it easy to walk out of there empty handed.

I came in just to look around and walked out with some stuff. The store was huge! The second floor was all the clothes and shoes but there were no associates up there to help us out. This is the nicest one I have been to.

Yay for 4% sales tax! This is one of the biggest Gucci stores and they have HAWAII EXCLUSIVESSSS! *screams like a little girl* The lady that helped me out was suuuper nice and I was so jealous that she had the item that I’m buying in two different colors… why?! There’s really no describing why I feel so giddy when I buy designer stuff because I just spent like my life savings and probably have to eat canned foods for the rest of my life (exaggerating. :P). It’s full of AWESOMES! XD

Beautiful 2-​story store along the strip. The prices were on par with mainland prices if not cheaper along with a way cheaper sales tax than California. WIN!
We walked in our bummed out beachwear and received the best service.

Selection here is much better then the one at ala moana mall. Unfortunately this one is a pain to get to if you don’t feel like dealing with waikiki i wish they had valet parking :(

Shopping in Hawaii is awesome because of their 4% sales tax. Take advantage of all of the fine shopping along the Kalakaua strip. When the hubbs and I booked our vacation on Valentines day 2008 I made sure our hotel was within walking distance of Gucci :)
Customer service is great! We walked in with the intent to buy a purse but we weren’t sure which one. I walked in looking for bags from the Queen Collection but instantly had my heart broken when they told me that they discontinued the bags a month ago to make way for the new Summer handbags. What could easy my pain and sorrow? Oooh. a 3 week old Sukey bag? Wow. only on the market for 3 weeks and already one of the best selling bags of the season? I must have it!
I was greeted by one of the sales associates Jason. He’s an angel on earth I tell you! He helped me with all of my needs and even showed me some jewelry that hadn’t made its way in the catalogs or online store. I walked away with the Sukey after he introduced me to it just minutes before. Friendly, outgoing, and totally charming. Jason darling, you’re the best :)

just strolling by and window shopped so i decided to walked in.
customer service was great.
i didnt know what i wanted to get but after thinking about my hubby, i decided to buy something for him but not sure what. the sales person was by myself and introduced and showed me things expensive to non-​expensive until I was ready to decided.
walked out w/​a wallet for him and a cosmetic bag for me.
after about 2 wks, his wallet’s threading inside was coming about. i called the Gucci store at Santana Row (which was by my house), they said they cant help me, i have to work w/​the HNL store. horrible bitchy girl who probably cant even afford anything in Gucci herself was on the phone at the SR store. :(
i called the original store i purchased it and without any issues, and within seconds of explaining the problem, they aksed me to send it back to them and they will send out a new one to me. even credited me for the UPS amount i paid to send the wallet to them. within a week, i got a new wallet back to me. now, that’s service.

I don’t particularly like handbag shopping.
Don’t get me wrong! Handbags are wonderful things — sculpture that hangs from arms.
But why am I even reviewing this store? Because in Hawaii (vs. LA, NY and SF) sales tax is only 4%. Well, aren’t there hundreds of designer boutiques in Hawaii that sell handbags? Why Gucci?
As far as I know, only Gucci has «Hawaii Pricing». Yes. Somewhere around 10% off.
In addition, they have «Hawaii Exclusive» bags. Yes, it’s the bag that says not only can you afford the bag, but you can afford to travel as well.
Shopping at Gucci in Hawaii made handbag shopping a bit easier. About 14% easier.
