History

Established in 2013.

The HSP Network got it’s start in 2013. While working in the corporate world, HSP President Aaron Ward got tired of the lack of enjoyment in the work that he was performing. Therefore, to keep the creativity in his life, Aaron did web design, graphic design projects & marketing consulting outside of his corporate job. This turned out to be more enjoyable than sitting behind a desk all day, while at the same time providing a useful service to Hawaii’s businesses. From there, the HSP Network was created to provide affordable and innovative marketing solutions to Hawaii’s businesses.

Prior to starting the Hawaii Service Providers Network (HSP Network), Aaron was a Finance Auditor at the Hawaiian Electric Company. Although, finance and marketing are two different worlds, Aaron always had a passion for entrepreneurship and marketing despite working in Finance. While at HECO, Aaron found his job unfulfilling, dull and a waste of his talents. Therefore, to put the joy of entrepreneurship back into his life, Aaron engaged in side jobs for companies that needed web design, graphic design and marketing consulting. The side worked turned out to be more enjoyable than sitting behind a desk all day at HECO, while at the same time providing a useful service to Hawaii’s businesses. This lead to Aaron leaving HECO to create the Hawaii Service Providers Network LLC.

Aaron currently lives in Honolulu and enjoys spear fishing, playing pick-​up basketball and spending time with his family.
