As the name suggests, they serve chili. Sweet, with almost no trace of the ground beef or any other identifiable flavors aside from the canned tomato sauce they use as the base for their sauce. And being the«„hawaiian“»(double quote) local/native/da kine/the status quo, because chili is not(hawaiian) anyway, they dont have mac salad to offer as a side for their delicacies. So da kine? Nah manini kine.

They have perfected their seared ahi and kalua pork plates, you can taste that they know what they are doing. I would not change a thing about them(generous portions, perfectly seasoned, excellent salad). Their scampi is delicious as well. Local plate lunch at it’s best!!! I actually have never had their chili(as silly as that sounds), so I couldn’t tell you how that is(I suspect amazing, since it’s in their name). The owners and staff are as sweet as can be, too! I used to catch them at the Mililani Tech park on Wednesdays and Fridays for lunch when I lived over there. Down side: they were cash only last time I was there(so plan ahead, they are worth tracking down a magic money machine). I have heard that their seasoning can be a bit inconsistent… but when they nail it, they are amazing.

Last night, we had Seared Ahi plate with rice and green $ 11.00. For us, the fish was a little too well done, and for me the dressings were a little too sweet. Overall, I rate 3.5.
