Hoku Hawaii Tours

This tour was one of the best things my sister and I did while on our trip to Oahu and definitely the best tour I have ever taken! While it was quite expensive I believe it was definitely worth it. We took the tour that stopped at the Coffee farm and we also got to take a nature walk through Waimea Valley and swam in a waterfall which was the highlight of the day. We also stopped at many lookouts on the East side of the Island including the Halona Blowhole and Pali Lookout. Our driver, Charlie, is a local who grew up on the Island and was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of Oahu. It is a full day tour so by the end of it we were quite tired but this is really the only way you get to see the majority of the island and the different microclimates without blowing the budget. I feel that we spent the right amount of time at each place so that we could enjoy it and take pictures. However, if you want to spend more than 15 – 30 minutes at certain places you might have to go back on a different day. It did rain but only while we went on our nature hike and that did not stop us from enjoying it and being able to swim in the waterfall. This tour was more than we expected it would be and would definitely recommend it to those that would like to see as much of Oahu as they can but do not mind that it is a full day experience.

This luxurious bus with our awesome tour guide Sue was great. We went to the Arizona and Missouri, recieved lunch, cold water and great guidance by Sue. It was worth the money, bus was new and very clean. Sue knew her history of Hawaii and keep us talking through the entire ride.

We made life-​lasting memories on our Hoku Hawaii tour yesterday with Charlie. He made a personal connection right away with my husband and me and also with every person on our tour. He was so patient, kind, helpful every step of the way… and he taught us much about Pearl Harbor that we didn’t yet know (and we are military history buffs!) we loved all of the Hawaiian history he taught us as we drove around Oahu. He got us all interacting with each other, cracking jokes and really sharing his love of the island with us. Hands down, this day trip is worth the cost. The trip to the Polynesian Cultural center was pretty cool – the food was amazing. But really, we were just so impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of our tour guide, Charlie. Thanks for making this a trip we won’t ever forget!!!

Hoku tours was awesome, our tour guide Matt was a lot of fun and entertaining. We did the luxury tour which was awesome and worth the money if you’re a history buff!

Fabulous tour! My fiancé and I took the Pearl Harbor tour with Kevin and we loved it! The tour was great and Kevin is so high energy and informative! I wouldn’t change a thing!

Amazing all day tour. Charlie was an amazing guide who knew the entire history of Oahu. Best tour I’ve ever done anywhere.

My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband took the Pearl Harbor tour. This included the Arizona Memorial and the Missouri. Matt was our guide and he was knowledgeable, accommodating, and entertaining. The tour included lunch and the day was perfect. We learned about Hawaiian culture and saw many beautiful sights. 5 stars ! Why? Matt our tour guide. My husband and I just left the tour and I had to Unilocal about the wonderful experience we had. The minute the black luxury bus came, I already knew that the bus was for us because it was as nice as the picture. Matt greeted us like if he already knew us. My husband and I were the significantly younger than the rest of the group so I was a little hesitant about how the tour would fit all ages. Matt was funny, spoke to everyone about fun facts and the Hawaiian culture, he was patient when people asked him questions and even went out of his way to make sure no one was ever left behind. This trip was from 8:45pm until about 5:30pm. It might seem long, but trust me with a tour guide like Matt, the day seemed to flow just right. Definitely a must especially if you want to get to know Oahu ! And see those movie spots. Bring cash, light sweater and extra battery for your phone you will have amazing pictures !! Also I’m always very hungry he provided water and a yummy bread for the trip ;) Thanks Matt love the Oliveras

This was our 3^rd day of tours and this was by far the most enjoyable when it came to service! Great was our tour guide and he was fantastic! Great hospitality, knowledge, and FUN! We would definitely come back and ask for Greg in the future and recommend Hoku travel for anyone looking for it!

Our driver was Kevin, we had the $ 179 Pearl Harbor tour today. It was well run and very smooth. I did feel like we waited a bit at each destination while he grabbed our tickets, and at the Arizona we each had to be handed our tickets by the staff there, it was a little in-​convenient, but did not take away from the great day we had. Lunch at the museum was good and they did accommodate out allergies well. Overall 4.75 out of 5.

My wife and I went on the Circle Island tour (H3?) with Greg and 11 others. The tour was amazing! We recommend this tour with Greg and would request him again if available. The tour was definitely a highlight to our vacation. We were able to take amazing photos and get great cultural information from Greg. Not to mention the recommendations on food and attractions!

What a great tour. I picked the Arizona and Missouri tour. Our guide was Matt he did a great job pointing out the local sites and giving us a history of Pearl Harbor. The van was clean and cool on a hot sunny day the tours were awesome. It is breathtaking to see the Arizona Memorial. The Missouri was imposing to say the least. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.

I have lived in Honolulu for over a year, I thought I knew a lot of the island. My sister visited me from Indiana and we decided to take a tour on the island with Hoko Hawaii Tuors, the experience was excellent. The guide was born and raised in Hawaii, knowing the culture, the secrets, and all the details of Oahu. We enjoyed the tour, especially the North Shore beach and swiming in a waterfall in the botanical gardens of Waimea. They provided us with a delicious lunch, and overall everything was excellent.

Wow, what a tour! Kane took us on an unforgettable journey. It was truly amazing see the beauty of Oahu, while being on a luxurious bus. These are truly a few of the greatest buses you’ll be on.
I’ve been on other tours when traveling and felt Hoku goes above and beyond. Make sure you’re on board with Hoku when seeing Oahu. You won’t regret it.
