Meet the Business Owner
Jill O.
Business Owner
Our Owner and Chef, Jill Owens, was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jill attended Roosevelt High School and then went on to the University of Hawaii where she studied Business Marketing.
Jill soon found out that she had a knack for cooking and decided to pursue a culinary career. Wanting something a little different, she applied, and was accepted, to San Francisco’s California Culinary Academy and started classes in April of 2003.
After completing her studies in San Francisco she returned home to Hawaii to put her new found knowledge to the test. She has worked at Indigo Restaurant under the guidance of Glen Chu (Chef/Owner), and has been the Chef at the former Ocean Club at Restaurant Row.
She has managed all food production for Centerplate at Aloha Stadium, as well as the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island.
Holoholo Bar and Grill is the result of Jill’s determination and hard work.
