i really love the food and drinks from this place but i’m starting to lose my patience with one of the workers. the first couple of times i went i just thought i’d give her some slack and assume she’s having a bad day. well it now seems that she has a bad day every day and she has no problem sharing that negative energy with customers. she doesn’t smile and when you order something her response always has some type of tone. most of the time i can let it go and just continue to ignore it but now when i crave for a smoothie or juice i just think, «is that worker with the dark hair going to be working? can i handle her awful attitude?». i shouldn’t have to feel this way…

It’s the decades old dilemma — good food vs bad service — what to do. My friends and I decided to give it another shot, then another — actually we’ve gone back everyday for two or three weeks — everyday. We’ve read the Unilocal reviews and yes, there is one, just one really rude worker — we’ve taken it in stride — good food and all — kept returning — but this morning putting up with her rude behavior was asking a bit too much from their customers.
It’s 9am, they open at 7am, my girlfriend orders a breakfast burrito — the gal with the black hair informs us that it will take 15minutes to warm up the grill — do we still want it — we’re in town working so minutes matter, but decided we would wait the 15 minutes, the gal was already abrupt and short with my friend but no more than usual so we proceeded on. I asked her if they had opened at 7am today she replied yes I looked at my phone it’s after 9am so I’m thinking if you want the breakfast burrito items best bet is to phone it in.
This gal though must have been having a spectacularly bad day because she turned around and very loudly began a rant about my friend and I — I was stunned for a moment — this gal should not be in customer service. I left wondering — does she just not like making burritos and sandwiches because something similar occurred last week when we were deciding between a burrito or an acai bowl and she said — «well I guess you can be unhealthy if you want and get the burrito.» Unhealthy?!! The burrito has mushrooms broccoli turkey! WTH
And if that wasn’t enough — a marine walked in in full dress and asked the gal if he could have change for a dollar to feed the meter — he said he just needed a quarter and she said — «NO!» My friend and I immediately dug through our purse to come up with change for him. — WTH right!

The products are amazing although one person in particular is miserable. The shorter girl with pin straight dark hair who helps make orders and does other prep work. She rolled her eyes while making my drink, rude to her co-​worker, and made me feel guilty for wanting a product from their establishment. Everyone else that I’ve encountered working there was so kind although she might ruin their reputation.

First time here, won’t be my last.
I ordered a wrap (which was the size of my arm, had it for lunch for two days) and the loco moco quinoa which was so much better than I expected! Not sure what was on it, but seemed a little like vinegar based, I was really into it.
Service was super friendly too. Lots of menu options, and I’m looking forward to trying more.

Love this place! The smoothies are such good quality and yummy! Love the wraps too. Right now, on day 2 of their 3 day juice cleanse. Juices are yummy and nourishing. It’s not easy only doing juice but they gave great advice on adding in clean foods.

Amazing sandwiches and wraps. The food is as healthy as the pope’s liver. The staff is friendlier and more helpful than Santa’s elfs. Awesome all around

I came too early to work so I needed a quick place to kill time. When I got inside Honolulu juice company, I was greeted with a good morning. Unfortunately, when I ordered the acai bowl, they gave me an acai smoothie instead and didn’t offer to correct it. The acai smoothie is too watery and protein like: there is no asai taste to it at all. If I didn’t have company that day, I’d probably give 1 star.

Upped my review to 5-​stars because of the consistency in portion and taste. I have been coming here once a week for about a month now and each time my salad does not disappoint.
Last time I said I was going to keep trying new things so I can get the lay of the land– I lied. I love my Asian noodle salad and will continue to order that :)
Today I met the owner, Chris, and he was very nice! He seemed very passionate and enthusiastic about their menu. He let me try their meatloaf and man, it was delicious! After that, I said I would get that the next time I came here… but again, I lied. Hello, Asian noodle ;p

Best staff that always greets me w/​a smile and remember my name. Great location and consistent, delicious smoothies. I go 2−3/ week.

Super friendly staff, awesome and healthy breakfasts and lunches and AMAZING juices and smoothies! So happy I found this place!

The first time I went, the acai bowl was a rip off. The owner was kind enough to offer me a free one after my review, but I chose not to take him up on it.
This time, it’s the customer service that I am complaining about. I decided to be fair, and give the place another shot. There is one worker there who is a little ‘know-​it-​all’ who is kinda cocky. I just ‘put up’ with her and ordered smoothies a few times. I’d say, I have been back 6 or 7 times and she is the same one to offer service.
Well, here are the complaints:
1) She tried to discourage me from getting the BOGO offer they had going and said that the 2^nd drink ‘wouldn’t last.’ Why is she assuming that both drinks are mine and that one would be saved for later? She should be encouraging me to get another drink! I went back another time and FORCED her to give me the deal! Hello… aren’t you guys trying to make money?
2) I ordered a bagel and not once did I mention wanting cream cheese. She gave me a toasted bagel which had one side broken in two, and never bothered to ASK if I wanted butter and jam which is offered on their menu board. So here I was, left with 3 pieces of a bagel, and cream cheese.
3) Yesterday I ordered a breakfast smoothie. They all cost $ 6 plus tax and are actually pretty good. One day I ordered a chocolate monkey and asked her to leave out the honey. She cut me off as I was talking and said there was no honey in it. Umm… you need to check the ingredients written on the board. Boom, honey. Anyway, this was the FINAL straw. I ordered my drink and she quickly barks, «6.28!» (Or whatever the price was). I give her a $ 5 note, a $ 1 note and 28 cents. What does she do??? SHE PICKS UP THE $ 5, not $ 500, heck, it’s not even a $ 20, and she holds it up to see if it’s counterfeit!!! REALLY!!! $ 5??? And you have seen me many times before!!! You have some nerve implying, in my face, no less… that I am paying for an overpriced smoothie with a counterfeit $ 5!!! One thing you never do is question their integrity (ESPECIALLY WHILE THEY ARE STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!)
Dear owner, please find new workers. I wish I could hire people for you. This particular worker (always an opener) is rude, lacks customer service skills, and is the reason I am finally taking my business elsewhere.
If the rest if you don’t care about customer service (it’s my job, so I do), then this place makes some pretty good juices and smoothies.
The owner is also pretty nice to my co-​workers who order wraps, and often gives them discounts.

People are really nice. Location is convenient and uncrowded at the edge of downtown.
Had the acai bowl. Lots of fresh bananas, apple and granola. Very cool and refreshing. Felt like breakfast at lunch time.

I wish more people knew about this place. The customer service, specifically the gentleman taking orders (whom I believe is the owner), is always SO fantastic! Whatever he recommends is always spot on, and exactly what I crave. I have been here several times, but today was worth writing the review. I wanted something hot and he suggested the chicken pesto panini, it did not, in the slightest, disappoint. The pesto, house-​made, was perfect; not too basil-​y or oily. The bread was crisped to perfection as well. I have tried their salads and smoothies and they are just as divine. You want to try this place, and you definitely want to tell your friends!

I love everything about this place.
This place is right next to my building, and I’m sad I won’t be able to frequent this place once my summer internship is over. I’ve tried almost all the smoothies, and my favorites are the Kale Chiller, Pineapple Power, and Ko’olau Cooler. I can taste how fresh the fruits and vegetables are. I also like that they don’t add extra sugar or ice cream or sorbet.
The salads are alright – sometimes their dressing sits for a while so it gets a gloopy. I prefer their sandwiches and smoothies for sure. I also enjoy the breakfast wrap very much! With bacon, salsa, sour cream; all very ono. I also recommend the beef sandwich and the southwest quesadilla if you want to be really full (or save some later for leftovers!)
I love the staff too, they’re always friendly and they know me by name. It’s always great to have good and friendly service.

I came because my friend heard about this place and we both wanted salad. We were thinking we should have our fruits and veggies for today.
We glanced through the menu. I decided to get a southwestern salad. It had chicken breast, black beans, corn, cheese, and tortilla chips on the side. And supposedly they make their own salad dressings. With my salad, I was surprised. I had this thick dressing. What was it? I smelled it and took a taste of it, it was hummus. How am I suppose to eat my salad with hummus? I actually didn’t, I dipped the tortilla chips in the hummus. Thank goodness the salad was okay without dressing. And my friend’s salad dressing was just olive oil or something, she said she didn’t think it had any taste as well.
This first visit wasn’t a good one for me. Maybe it was an off day or maybe this place isn’t for me.

First timer. Great service! I ordered the Bacon/​Veggies Omelet and it was delicious. Just a heads up though, wait time was about 10 – 15 minute or so. If you’re in a rush, maybe see if you could call in your order.
Definitely a place to try!

This establishment is clean, everything is super fresh and the staff is very friendly! Today I came with my friends for the first time and received a great introduction to their offerings! I had the loafer sandwich and it was very flavorful, and filling! The meatloaf wasn’t at all dry! If I wasn’t such a piggy I probably could’ve just ate half… but it was so good I ate it all in one sitting! We got to sample one of the smoothies too… it was delicious! I would definitely come here for a smoothie (sorry Jamba). It may be away from the main hustle and bustle of downtown but is truly a hidden gem! We will definitely be back again!!! :0)

Friendly service in a very neat and clean space. I had the monkey smoothie which was smooth, creamy, and filling and priced right at $ 6. They have a good variety of smoothies and I bet they’ll customize what you want.
I was excited to see quinoa salads — Greek, Moroccan, and spicy shrimp. Opting for the Moroccan, I was a little disappointed. The size was small (about 6 – 8 oz) but it may be intended as a side salad. It also cost about $ 6. The salad was a little oily, olive oil I hope! The curry flavor was on the sweet side, which is hard to get for me with my severe sweet tooth. It would have been better with some onion or pistachios or something to give it a little more contrast and interest.
It’s nice to have a good, local alternative downtown to the smoothie giant and I would definitely go back for juice or a smoothie. Some of the other food items look good so they might be worth a try, too.

Located across from the main Post Office and close to ‘Iolani Palace and downtown Honolulu, I stumbled across this new lunch place and tried it today. While mainly offering various healthy juices and local drinks, I was happy to see a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The restaurant is new, bright, and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They offer both indoor window seating and outdoor tables.
Today I tried the Italian Wrap. The size appearance was deceiving; it looked small, but was satisfying and delicious. It contained turkey, salami, fresh tomato and lettuce, hummus, and a light dressing. I added sriracha to taste. A nice touch was cucumber water offered for free. I have to remove one star as I thought the fare was overpriced for portion size. Otherwise, a nice healthy place to try!

With the new year right around the corner, many of us will be adopting resolutions to lose weight, get active, and lead healthier lives. Honolulu Juice Company, now conveniently located in downtown, can certainly help you to keep to your goals!
The menu, which offers a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, salads, and sandwiches, features plenty of vegetables and fruits. On my visit, I ordered a Poipu Juice (Pineapple, Kale, Celery, Cucumber, Lemon, and Ginger) and a Garden Wrap (Cabbage, Lettuce, Carrots, Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, Swiss Cheese, and Hummus in a Spinach Tortilla). As another reviewer mentioned, the prices are on the steeper side with my juice and wrap together coming out to over $ 14.
I am not sure about the other items on the menu, but the Garden Wrap is HUMONGOUS and more than worth its ~$ 8 price. Stuffed with a variety of vegetables and Honolulu Juice Company’s homemade (and AMAZING) hummus, the wrap kept me full well through the end of my work day!
With 2015 quickly approaching, I am sure I will be returning to Honolulu Juice Company often to help me keep to my new year resolutions!
