The iland soda foodtruck is located on Sheriden Street next to Hinone Mizunone, in the same lot as Yajima Ya. You can order regular or cream style sodas. Both are refreshing and I liked that the cream sodas which was light and not overly sweet.: There is a huge assortment of flavors to choose from, and I’ll be definitely be working my way thru them: They no longer serve the abura soba, but offer sandwiches, salads, and a poke bowl. I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, but loved the crab cake salad. She made it a point to tell me that she makes the crab cakes herself, and while it does take a little longer to prepare it is definitely worth it. It’s made with real crab without fillers: You can call in your order ahead of time and there is seating on picnic style tables under the tent.

Located on Sheridan Street in front of Meadow Gold, Iland Soda is my new go-to lunch spot. I love being able to sit down with a bowl of freshly made, great tasting food without the occasional whiff of urine often found on Keeaumoku. Hiro, the owner, and her adorable daughter recently acquired this business and while I don’t know what the previous owner was like, I couldn’t be happier with the change. Yes, your food will take a bit to prepare because it’s FRESH! If you can’t wait, call up a few minutes in advance and come pick it up or go across the street to McDonald’s(and good luck with that!). The other truck is faster but it’s all pre-made whereas Hiro makes everything on the spot. I’d rather eat that than something sitting in a pot all day but hey, to each his own! Her selection of sodas is astonishing for a small truck! My favorite is Mimi Mint. Aaaaah, refreshing! Her truck is immaculate too! It’s cute, bright, flavorful and cheaply priced for what all that one gets. Plus Hiro is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet, her kindness and smiles will only add to your day. She’s charged me LESS than priced on her boards for some items but I wouldn’t mind paying a few bucks more for the serenity and a happy tummy she provides.

Chicken Pesto SW was ok, not really for my tastes. I’m giving it 3 stars because I was charged $ 1 more than the sign states and because the wait was pretty long even though no one else was waiting. Next time I’ll try the other truck. He served 3 customers before mine was ready.

Their aburasoba was really good! I was expecting they made everything in advance and serve in 2 minute but I was wrong. They even cook noodle after they take our orders so we waited about 15 ~ 20 min but it was worth to wait! Aburasoba is only 20 dishes a day so make sure to be there around 11 or 1130!!! Owner couple is really nice and cute. I want to try their other sandwiches and daily lunch special too*^^*

Hidden behind the Keeamoku McDonald’s and the Meadow Gold plant is my favorite lunch spot on the island. Run by the Izakaya Naru chef and his wife Anna, they specialize in flavored Italian sodas, hefty sandwiches, and their famous Abura Soba. The sodas are refreshing and not overly-sweet(great for hangovers). I’ve tried the hibiscus and lilikoi which are both great. The sandwiches have some weight to them, and have a range of options from egg tartar salad, chicken pesto, to potato bacon. They get their bread daily from… well… Daily Bread in Mo’ili’ili and they’re served toasted. Their abura soba is the star though! Ramen-style egg noodles served with the works for $ 12, comes with onsen egg, perfectly grilled charsiu pork that’s crusted and juicy, chopped cabbage and kikurage(skip if you don’t like mushrooms). It’s topped with some nori and sesame seeds and with a side of ra-yu to give it some kick. If you like it more refreshing, you can ask for the bottle of rice vinegar too. Oh yeah they make their own Ra-yu chili oil, and can take a jar home for $ 10. Also, they make daily special plate lunches that they post most days on facebook: , just make sure you get there soon after they post because it’s always limited. On that note, I recommend coming early before they run out. They make everything fresh daily that’s why.

This is my go-to lunch spot. I ate here for almost a month straight Monday-Friday. The sandwiches are GREAT, the abura soba is the real attraction. INCREDIBLE! Makes me miss living in Japan. The noodles are perfect, the charsiu is tender, and flavorful, and the raiyu has a nice kick to it. I’ve gotten a co-worker of mine to fall in love with the abura soba. Now whenever I head out to lunch she asks if I’m going to iLand soda. Great place to eat!

If you’re looking for a light lunch, this is the place to go. We had a chicken basil SW which was delicious. The servers were very pleasant and the area was clean.
