Jugo Life Juicery

IMHO this is the best juicery on the island.
1 QUALITY: Cold pressed, fresh (72 hr shelf life-​they are right about this, and don’t try to sell anything older just to make a buck)
2 QUANTITY: 16oz!
3 TASTE: This is obviously their fortè, they have concocted just the right blends to make all their juices taste SO YUMMY, and still be super healthy.
4 SERVICE: Every staff encounter has been a pleasant one. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
3 day cleanse:
They provide you with 18 bottles worth of juice, 6/​day was MORE than enough! There’s some flexibility with options, they recommend to drink your fruits/​veggies in the morning/​midday, have a Spicy Lemonade around noon, and consume root juices (think carrots, beets) towards the end of your day. You may want to call ahead and pre order to make sure they have what you want.
My experience was nothing short of mind blowing! I have to admit, the juices taste so good, that I thought it couldn’t be pure fruits/​veggies but probably had some flavor enhancements added. By the end of the first day, I could feel the effects of my body going through some major withdrawal effects… headaches, body aches, nausea and malaise! Furthermore, i found myself feeling some discomfort in my jaw/​neck area… it was my lymph nodes! I was really detoxing! At this point, I was truly convinced their juice was fresh, potent and packed with tons of LIVE nutrients! 36 hours in, the aches and discomforts started to subside. My eyesight was the first thing I noticed that improved. (I’ve juiced before on my own, and this is always one of the first noticeable benefits). My mind feels clearer, and my craving for Coke (which I used to drink daily) and other sugar-​laden products is NON-​EXISTENT. Plus, I’m down 5lbs.
The cost isn’t cheap, but totally worth it. Although I’ve invested in a really good quality juicer, I think I may continue to purchase juices from here. For one thing, cold-​pressed is still better than the top of the line Breville juicer, I hate the clean up… and my juices have never tasted as good as theirs.
I’m sold on JugOLife!

Also, there’s a HUGE difference between juicing and cold-​pressed juice. I’ll let u google that part up. However, the reason why I came here is because this juice is COLD-​PRESSED.
LOCATION: Located on King Street next door to Da-​Spot and before Down to Earth.
PARKING: walking distance from Longs Moiliili or you can find street parking nearby. I knew I was going to be in and out and parked in the freight loading zone illegally
SERVICE: quick grab and go and he suggested really good flavors. Sorry… I don’t remember his name lol
JUICE: delicious! Surprisingly the ones I thought would be weird were delicious.
Ok… I was gonna explain how each juice tastes but I drank them before I finished my review and that was a few days ago lol
Let’s just say I was not disappointed. There was a spicy one that I wouldn’t recommend for the morning but other than that, all of their juices were good.
They also have a rewards program so u can get discounts…

So last week Tuesday I finally did the cleanse. I decided on the Jugo Life one day cleanse. Usually it’s $ 50 but I had some offer for a buy one justice get one free so it ended being about $ 45, saved a little bit of money.
It’s 6 juices and they have certain ones that you drink first, fourth and last and the others are up to you.
I thought I would have been hungry but it turned out ok and I made it through. My favorites are the happiness, spicy lemonade and love flavors. The juices that had herbs that are pretty potent like cilantro or ginger were a bit tough to swallow. Those flavors feel like a punch to the face. Haha
As far as my health, well I felt like I had more energy the next day and my body just felt better overall. I don’t think Im ready for the three day cleanse that’s just seems to long for me, but would definitely do another one day to recharge and shock the body .
The customer service here is awesome and they are very knowledgeable about the product. If you are ever interested in trying to do a cleanse, I highly recommend Jugo Life!

MY FAV COLD PRESSED JUICE, hands down.
Not only did the flavor of the juices win me over, so did the genuine niceness of the staff/​owners as well.
I have partaken in many other cold pressed juices, but Jugo Life Juicery’s juice have been the best combination of ingredients to make the best tasting juice.
I am so stoked on their loyalty program as well — the text system is so convenient and easy.

When I am «trying» to be healthy, this juicery will be my Go-​To!
I got into juicing and smoothie making late last year but purchasing the ingredients and getting creative with recipes was so time consuming and expensive. Jugo Life takes the brainwork out of drinking healthy. Their blends of flavors are delicious!
Ashley at Mo’ili’ili was super helpful and pleasant, letting my try samples of the flavors I was interested in. I ended up purchasing Greatness, Wellness, and Truth. Their green juices are tasty, even with all of the vegetables in them!
I will be back with some friends for a 1 day cleanse and will definitely be spreading the word about this awesome little gem in the middle of town. (They have also opened a new shop in Kailua, which I have not been to, but I’m sure is just as great!)

Turned on to the idea of juicing long ago, but not liking the work that goes into juicing, I appreciate having the convenience of Jugo juices. And they taste great too! Of the ones I tried, Dream is my favorite (for the sweeter ones), and greatness (for the ones with more greens in them). Love and Happiness (watermelon and pineapple based) are really good too.
There are a few raw food and snack options as well, for grab-​n-​go needs, which I have yet to try… juices will do for now. If you have the opportunity to try them, the prices are comparable to other juice brands at $ 7-​$ 10, and the variety is great. My only complaint is parking, which is metered, across by the park. If you’re there picking up a lot of juices, I recommend bringing your own bag/​cooler, as most of them keep for only a 2 – 3 days.

Soo I’ve been having some post summer blues. I’ve been seeing a bunch of people I know try juice cleanses to reset their bodies and help portion control. I’ve been seeing this place at farmers markets and on Instagram so I figured I would try it. They have a wide range of drinks to try… about 14 in fact, mostly cold pressed juices.
So I have tried ¹²⁄₁₄ juices they offer. Of course my favorites are love and happiness. Who doesn’t enjoy those things??? Happiness may be a little sweet for some but it goes down so easily. Love is very refreshing.
For a nice green juice, I like greatness. It’s very clean tasting and a great way to start your day and get your veggies!
Peace and Truth are a little bulkier to drink and more filling in my opinion. They take a little more time going down.
I’m not a huge fan of Bliss or the Spicy Lemonade. No matter what, don’t smell the Bliss as you drink it… I can’t even begin to tell you how that one tastes, it’s creamy but I have no other way to describe it without being vulgar. It’s something that you would want to feed your worst enemy but then they would probably get super healthy and feel great. Think natto, great health effects but not so great tasting. The Spicy Lemonade isn’t so bad but not so easy going down for me.
I really enjoy Focus on the morning. It’s like a creamy cup of sweet tasting coffee. One thing… it definitely helps regulate you if you know what I mean. So make sure a bathroom is in sight for the next few hours after consumption.
Juices range from $ 7-​$ 10 (Bliss is the most expensive so I feel like it must be the hardest to make or the healthiest but bleh). Yes, it’s pricey. Most things that are good for you are. But it’s comparable to other places offering cold pressed juices and it’s so worth it for your body. I love eating, as you know. But sometimes it’s nice to just have a juice for a post workout meal or a snack. I’ve been trying to incorporate juices in my diet since I’m not a huge fruit fan. I drank their juices over a course of a month as a meal replacement to see if I could really do a juice cleanse.
They have some snacks and desserts to grab and go as well.
They do have juice cleanses here: 1 (6 bottles $ 50) or 3 day (18 bottles $ 145). The great thing is you can pick up all 3 days at one time if you want. You’ll be super strong after carrying all those juices too! I suggest bringing a cooler bag! I did a 3 day juice cleanse which left me feeling energized and helped me portion control better. The toughest part wasn’t the not eating but having to drink 6 bottles of juice every day. Make sure you call them to let them know you want to do a cleanse so they have enough juices. The juices are freshly made and only last a few days. They have a set juice cleanse: greatness, love, happiness, spicy lemonade, peace and truth. You can also modify and substitute some of the juices though I recommend sticking to the set they recommend.
You should also follow them on instagram, every so often they offer a juice card promotion good for 30 juices in a month for $ 225 which is a great savings if you plan to drink a lot of juice or do a cleanse. Also if you check in on Unilocal,you get a $ 1 off a juice if you want to give them a try.
One thing, there’s no parking. There’s street parking but that can be tough especially if you didn’t have your morning juice yet! I suggest go with a friend… the power of two. Have someone drop you off or wait in the car on the side while you run in. Or you can arrange to pick up juices from them at the farmers markets (check with them for the days they are there and which ones they go to). Also make sure you call ahead, some juices are way more popular and sell out. They’re really nice and will reserve juices for you. They work with you which is super awesome. So time to start adding some juice to your life!

I was introduced to «Jugo» about a year ago at a convention. I stopped by their table to try their AMAZING samples, and I was hooked, lol.
I’m so excited that I discovered that they have a store nearby my job. I went there this morning for some HEALTHY goodness :-) #Grateful

I bought the orange-​colored ginger-​carrot-​whatever else juice and stopped walking right before I exited the tiny store (there are a few seats… and AC). I gulped down my $ 9’s in about 10 seconds, as I always do, and loved every second of it.
I actually found the blend in this particular juice to be meh (something was missing) or maybe it’s because I’ve been drinking this blend since I was in junior high… I give the juice 7/​10, and I’m a pressed juice snob. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. I really do.
There are tons of cool spots nearby… bbq/healthfood/crossfit/pub/library/ross’s. This area is cool area that (slowly) grows on your eyes. I’ll be back to dine and/​or imbibe prior to museum events west of here!
(I find the (cheaper) juices at Lanaika Juice near kahala mall tastier, more creative blends (like jjaylad’s pressed juices)… but this place is solid and I’ll be back. Points for not not being in bumf392 nowhere, kahala!).

I am an avid juicer, and has been juicing at home a few days a week. I was happy to find a local juice store on King street.
Jugo is a small store with one large refrigerator, with glass doors. Customers can come and grab a juice, filled in a 16oz plastic container, for $ 9.00 dollars plus tax. For this price, it should be the best of the best Fresh juice…
The lady at the store was nice and friendly, offered us a few samples, and even opened sealed bottle for us to try. We tried 2 – 3 green juices, the Love (watermelon juice), the carrot juice, the Truth (beet juice, and the green juice with Brazilian nut in it. Many varieties and many choices.
Some questions we had were when are the juices made, and the lady informed us that the juices were made the morning before, but then changed her statement, and said it was made the evening before. That is an 12-​hour difference, and for a $ 9.00 dollar fresh juice, it means a huge difference Fresh and not so fresh.
In the end, the juices are pre-​made, and not quite sure when they are made. There is no label on the bottle of made time and date, and the lady in the store didn’t really know neither.
I also didn’t see any juicing machines in the store, or smell any freshness of vegetable and fruits one can smell, if the juices were being made in the store.
I am not quite sure why I am paying $ 9.00 dollars for these juice when I can get squeezed juice at the supermarket for $ 4.00 dollars, if their freshness is not guaranteed.
Will be back to juicing at home where freshness is guaranteed!

Better to go earlier in the day, seeing as how they easily sell out of their popular liquids. I went with the intent of only getting a few drinks, that my friend, Leah, suggested. Buttttt… I ended up getting 6 juices for a cleanse, instead. They totally sold me. What can I say, I’m an easy sell :/
Whatever the case, the workers were nice and very friendly. They offered me samples and answered the questions that my friend and I had. I think their service is what got me to buy what I bought. 6 juices & $ 53 later…
I have 3 days to drink my liquids! Let’s see if I can do it! (Although. They’re actually supposed to be a 1 day cleanse haha).

This review is for customer service and cold-​pressed deliciousness that is Jugo juice… street parking is pretty scarce, so parked across the street. Thanks to Unilocaler Lori I.‘s picture, I was able to locate it perfectly! I got my mini’s, crossed King St. at the perfectly placed crosswalk… walked in and met Tommy.
Tommy was so friendly. A dad of two young kids, he was super patient as I had my mini’s in tow… they preoccupied themselves with the little library in the store, while I could get educated by Tommy.
I told him what my goals were, and that my search for a juice cleanse clearly brought me here. He didn’t have a big selection on-​hand, since it was later in the afternoon, but he did let me sample a grip of juices… not a big surprise, I loved them all. I tasted so many… I forgot to take pictures of the store (hellooooo???)
I wanted to start my juice cleanse on Monday, but they are closed on Mondays. He suggested Tuesday but they only open at 9am… I don’t know about you, but I will have already been at work for two hours at 9… and can’t get away to pick up juice. So… I decided to just jump in and get the 3-​day cleanse ($ 145) TODAY. If I’m going to start, it’ll be first thing tomorrow morning. Yes, this will be challenging since 1. I am off tomorrow with the kiddos, 2. the weekend is when my family gathers around meals…, 3. I will have to pack my juices everywhere with me to my kids activities. But… it costs me $ 145 + tax… so, I MUST STICK WITH IT!
My hubby has to work this weekend, so he won’t have the luxury of dealing with my crankiness (yes — I get cranky when I can’t chew/​gnaw/​eat delicious cooked meat…), but like I mentioned in my review for Extract Juice… my body needs a vacation from DL60 alcohol awesomeness and heavenly fried only-​made-​in-​fantasies treats! If you don’t know what DL60 refers to… I’m sorry.
Other than the 3-​day cleanse for $ 145, they also offer 1-​day cleanse for $ 50. Want more than 3-​days?.. each additional day is $ 48. Each day you pick 5 juices and 1 master cleanse (lemonade with cayenne). Have you ever done the master cleanse… good times — good time! ;0) that’s a whole other story… Individual bottles range from $ 7 — $ 9. I also picked up a couple of coconut bottles (actual coconut meat in them) for $ 7.50 each.

I was having a rough day. Okay it was a rough month really, and as with any difficult patch of time we have special friends that cheer us up with their love and affection. My girlfriend Olivia is one of those lovely people. After a pity lunch we swung by Juego Life to grab a few juices. She is a hardcore juice addict and swears by their product. At $ 9 a pop they’d better be tasty, make you live longer, walk your dog in the morning and then some…
We sauntered in to Juego Life which is a small shop in Mo’ili’ili. She quickly grabbed an assortment of her favorites and I chose the Love juice which was made of watermelon, strawberry, lemon and fennel. I wasn’t a believers before but now I’m part of the Juego Life church. That Love juice was spectacular!

Jugo Life got me hooked! Honestly I wasn’t into the whole juicing craze even after watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. My mom got really into it and started juicing everyday. Even then I wasn’t a big fan because I just couldn’t imagine going through a day of juicing drinking juice. Anyway I one day just had a sudden urge to do a cleanse and I remembered hearing about Jugo Life. Found out they have a 1 day cleanse which I thought would be perfect to start of with. I went in Sunday morning (really easy to find next to Da Spot) and the guy was very helpful & informative! Told him how I wanted to do the cleanse and he recommended some juices to try. You get 5 juices plus the Spicy Lemonade for $ 50 which is a little cheaper than buying it individually at $ 9 a drink. Yes these juices are not cheap! But then I think about how it’s made from organic fruits & veggies and how much nutrients it has. Each bottle has a variety of fruits & veggies that I feel like would be too much of a hassle to juice myself (yeah I’m lazy)! Jugo Life makes it convenient for you.
As for the 1 day cleanse, I thought it was going to be tough but honestly you are drinking a lot of juices about every 2 – 3 hours so you don’t really get hungry. Yes you’ll crave to have like real food to eat but knowing that it’s just for 1 day makes it easier. It’s all a mental thing! What also helps is that they all taste good! There wasn’t one one drink that I really hated. Each one was easy to drink. I would say though I really liked Greatness, Love and Happiness. The Spicy Lemonade also had a nice kick to it. They add cayenne pepper which was hotter than I was expecting but I loved it! I went through the day fine. I was a bit tired by the end of the day and had a pretty long nap. Not sure if this was from the juicing though. The weird thing is I thought I’d be craving junk food like burger and fries but what I really wanted was a nice big fresh salad! Even the next day, my breakfast and lunch was something healthy. I think the juicing is a great way to cleanse your body and then start incorporating healthy foods more to your diet. I would love to try the 3 day cleanse the next time but that will def take a lot of willpower for me. I can’t wait to go back and try the other juices. I’m addicted!

I recently became interested in cold pressed juicing after watching «Fat, Sick & Almost Dead», which is a Netflix documentary about a guy that goes on a juice fast for 60 days and ends up changing his life. It made me want to start juicing too, but I don’t own a juicer and those things are expensive and there are so many parts you have to wash and I hate washing dishes. So I trekked down to Moilili to get some from Jugo Life Juicery.
WHY: cold pressed juice extracts all the micronutrients out of the raw veggies/​fruits so you can get MORE vitamins and good stuff without filling up on fiber. It’s easier and faster for your body to absorb all the nutrients because it doesn’t have to digest anything.
LOCATION: Next to DA SPOT, across from Long’s Moilili.
PRICE: This is not your fruit punch or Capri Sun kind of juice. This is REAL VEGGIE/​FRUIT juice from raw produce. $ 9 a bottle or you can do the $ 50 for a daily cleanse, which includes 5 juices plus 1 lemon/​cayenne pepper/​maple juice. I think the combinations of veggies and fruits that Jugo LIfe has put together are better than their competition. I’m glad they opened up this small shop because I need more TRUTH and GREATNESS in my life. You should check it out, they also sell HAPPINESS, LOVE, and PURE BLISS.

Jugo Life sells 16 oz bottles of super tasty, cold pressed juice with inspirational names like Pure (coconut water) and Bliss (creamy and sweet with a hint of salt). They have all fruit juices if you don’t want to drink your vegetables, try Happiness (pineapple and mint) or Love (watermelon, pineapple, strawberry) for a sweet treat.
If you are feeling adventurous, Bold tastes like salsa with a jalapeño and cilantro kick, it’s spice is addictive. I drink Grateful, Wellness and Greatness, which are all awesome veggie blends, to help me justify all the bad eating I’m gonna do later. Truth (beet juice) and Peace (carrot juice) are super potent, you can taste the earth in them.

The place might be a little hard to find, its located right next door of Da Spot and right under the green Crossfit Kuleana sign. Parking can be tight, but I find it easy to park in the back of subway OR longs parking lot across the street (shh…haha)
Let’s just say this little hole in the wall has the right amount of a warm welcoming aloha as it does in its products. The service was lovely, (I had met Tommy the owner) and he allows customers to try the top flavors and any other flavors in the fridge.
Tonight I got to sample «Grateful» «Wellness» «Happiness» and «Peace» (if you want the ingredients run down, check out his site and menu!

Everything is organic, local, and produced in our lovely Hawaii Nei.
The packaging is simple and recyclable!
The taste is extremely wholesome and ranges depending on the types of fruits/​veggies you are willing to consume.
In all honesty, give this place a shot. Despite the price tag per bottle, I think it’s well worth a try. It might even make you reconsider how you’d prefer to consume your veggies!
Also, a little added bonus, they do have other food vegan products and a cute bookshelf stand with reads that you can borrow.

I’m excited that this spot opened up down the street from where I work. I came in around 3pm on a weekday and they were still stocked (I was so lucky) and I was instantly greeted. It’s not really a place to just cruise, it’s more of a get it and go kind of place which I like and makes them different from a lot of spots. They let me samps some different juices and I ended up with purchasing two bottles of Grateful.
It is a little pricey ($ 9 a bottle) but it’s quality! Lots of fruits and veggies into one bottle and it’s yummy too.
I can’t wait to try one of their cleanses!

Happiness and Love are amazingly delicious! If you’re unsure about a juice flavor, they usually have a sample bottle open of each available flavor that you can try out before making your choice (s). I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!
The only downfall is that they aren’t always stocked up on certain drinks, and they sell out fairly quickly… but I didn’t deduct any stars because that is to be expected with a business like cold pressed juices. I’d imagine it’s a long process, and they don’t have a very long shelf life seeing as these drinks are raw and unpasteurized… so it’d be inefficient to make them in huge bulks.

Jugo Life is open… And just in time for my detox! Yeeee!!!
This place just opened last weekend and I’m super stoked. Thanks to fellow Unilocaler, Notoriois Banguu B., for pointing out it’s right nest to Da Spot or I would’ve never known where it was! There used to be a different café there a few months ago but I guess they’ve relocated and Jugo Life has taken it’s place. Either way, I’m excited for this cold-​pressed juice awesomeness! Not to mention, they have dairy-​free, vegan desserts as well! Definitely planning on making more stops here on my way to UH. It’s sooooo convenient!
The person working (the owner?) was super helpful. He let me try sample the different juices (which have really positive, wellness-​affirming names) that he had. I ended up wanting the Greatness (Kale, Celery, Cucumber, Apple, Spinach, Cilantro, Pear, Mint, Lemon and Ginger) but they were sold out… So, I opted for the Truth (Beet, Carrot, Apple, Blueberry, Cilantro, and Turmeric). He opened a new bottle for me to try it out and said if I didn’t like it he would just use it as a sample bottle. How nice of him! I really liked the Truth and ended up getting a bottle. Before I left, he mentioned that they would be restocking the «Greatness» in about an hour or so if I wanted to come back later. I was also really eyeing the dairy-​free, vegan berry cheesecake so he offered to reserve them for me in case they sell out again! I did end up coming back a few hours later after class to pick up the other juice and dessert. Yay!
If that wasn’t awesome enough, Jugo Life also has a Lending Library! Yup! There’s a bookshelf with various books about personal development, positive thinking, achieving your goals, finding balance in life, etc. I ended up borrowing one: The Intention Experiment. Who doesn’t love a little positivity and encouragement in their lives?
They might be expanding into smoothies too so keep a lookout for that… I’m excited to see what they’ll come up with! And, I’ll definitely be back to read more of those books! ^_​^
