Brought my dad here to get his eyebrows threaded bc he got bushes on his face that needed trimming and the service was excellent! Lily was outstanding and very personable :) my dad was more than satisfied w the results. She cleaned and shaped his brows but kept it looking very natural. Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue. I thought I already written one but I guess not.
I’ve been coming to Lily’s since 2011 and I can say this is one of my go-​to places for my nails and eyebrows. Maddy is the best eyebrow threader EVER! She makes sure you leave happy and satisfied. A lot of the nail technicians from 2011 left so everyone is new and I also haven’t been here in a while since I had my son. But I just started going again and they renovated their Salon and it is so beautiful and has that very relaxing atmosphere. As far as the nail technicians go, I had Jing do my nails twice and she is just so sweet and very professional. I showed her a picture of what I want as far as the design and I was just blown away. Although she could only do the big toenails, the end results look way better than the actual picture and did I tell you she did it on her own??? She had to mix colors to get the perfect shade and she nailed it! I was very impressed with her skills!!! And this girl is fairly new. I highly recommend Jing for your nails and Maddy for your threading needs.

Great ambiance. Awesome job on my mani pedi. But the price I paid for the eyebrows and how quick it was with no clean up is why I didn’t do 5 stars. Other than that thank you Sun for everything.

I’m really enjoying the threading, but what’s the point in threading when it looks worse than before? :(My eyebrows grows out semi even then after threading, it’s soooo uneven with one higher than the other or shorter than the other.

This is a small salon next to Bank of Hawaii. I don’t know if they have parking, but I just parked at Ala Moana Mall and walked over. I’ve only ever gotten my eyebrows waxed however I heard Maddy does as amazing job at threading so I decided to give it a try. Boy am I’m glad I did! From now on I’m only going here to get my eyebrows threaded. My eyebrows aren’t naturally full, but the way they are shaped now I don’t need to fill them in daily. Maddy did an amazing job shaping my eyebrows in a way no one else had done before and I love it!

This little nail salon is tucked away on Kona St. on the same side of the road as Nordstroms. It’s right at the massive intersection behind the bank.
Inside of the salon is a very small but neat and clean space. I was very impressed with the service!
I got a gel manicure with a lot of detail for $ 50! Great price and I was taken care of very well. They made sure that I liked my color choices and offered suggestions for how to spice up the look. If I still lived in Hawaii, this would be my go to nail salon.

Regarding my earlier review. I received a call from Mike who I believe is the owner or manager. He offered me a mani/​pedi to make up for the recent pedicure (which wasn’t what I had expected). I wasn’t able to go back as I’ve been sick with the flu. I will say I am very happy that he reached out to try and remedy my bad experience. I will be going back to try their services again.

Went to Lily’s to get my eyebrows waxed and Min-​Hee did an amazing job for a perfect price and she’s so sweet too! Very easy to make an appointment and convenient location too.

I recently decided to switch from my «go to» manicure/​pedicure salon because the new owner did not honor my fully punched frequent buyer card (I had twelve monthly visits). After reading the reviews of Lily’s Nail Spa. I called to get a regular manicure/​pedicure on Saturday with Min Hee. I wanted a regular manicure/​pedicure but she gently persuaded me to to try the gel manicure. I haven’t liked any of the styles my friends have but never thought it would look natural or nice on short nails. I’m a low-​maintenance gal and don’t like a lot of fuss (glitter, rhinestones, designs, etc)
Have I been in a cave? Wow, this gel application is the bomb! No nicking, or waiting to dry. The color is so glossy and smooth as though it was still wet, I never imagined that I would like this better than going with a regular manicure. I plan to make this a monthly visit!

Unilocal search for best nail spa and Lily’s Nail Spa & Hair Salon is on the top of the list. I made an appointment and loved my nails and the foot spa. I’ve also just walked in for a mani and pedi without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me. Keep in mind this was in the morning during the week day.
What I love about this nail salon is how long the polish lasts on my nails (and they aren’t even gel polish). I’m not sure if they use cement to seal the nail polish in but it takes forever to chip and crack off. Def worth the time and money.

I really enjoyed getting my mani and pedi here. All the ladies are super friendly and do a fantastic job at nails. It’s also a nearby walk for myself, so it’s super convenient. Gonna be my number one spot to go to.

I would follow Kitty to the ends of the earth– and I have! Her latest spot is at Lily’s, near the food court at Ala Moana and next to the Bank of Hawaii. It’s small, clean, and they have a very friendly owner and staff. The place is named for the owner’s adorable little girl. Parking is hit or miss during business hours, although the owner also owns the hookah place next door, so you can also park there. After the bank closes, you can park in their lot for free.
What can I say about Kitty? She. Is. Amazing. I can’t even say how many times I get stopped by total strangers asking me where I get my nails done. I used to carry her business cards around with me, and gave them out more often that my own! Her nail art is exactly that– a work of art. She can perfectly recreate almost anything you might find on Instagram, but if you let her, she can also create something custom, and perfect for you. I can’t tell you how many times she’s gently talked me out of a color or style that isn’t flattering for my skin/​nail shape, and I know she would never steer me wrong. Kitty is a perfectionist, an artist, and a genuinely sweet person. Trust me– you should always trust her judgment!
Her prices aren’t the cheapest, but she’s worth every penny. Even when I used to bartend, my nails would last almost 6 – 7 weeks. If they didn’t grow out so darn fast, I could have kept them for even longer than that. And to be honest, after about a month I’m antsy for a new design anyway! Another thing I love is that she doesn’t do acrylics– after years of that my nails were pretty beat. She uses QQ gel, and it bakes to perfection under the UV lights, without most of the damage acrylics can cause.
Bottom line– go to Kitty. She’s a five-​star artist and a five-​star person, and will make your nails look like a million bucks.

Found this place on Unilocal & decided to check it out on a whim. Called ahead on a Friday afternoon & they were able to take me right away. Didn’t realize they had their own small lot right next door (a plus), so parked across the street at the mall.
Min-​Hee did my gel manicure & she was great! I liked that she was direct, but very easy to talk to. She also let me change my nail design ½ way through, as I didn’t like the way the color on my tips looked after it was applied. I’ve never had a nail technician that allow me to do that before and it made an impression on me. It was clear that Min-​Hee wanted to make sure I was happy with my manicure & checked in with me to make sure I liked it along the way. I also appreciated her willingness to offer suggestions, as I’m indecisive. I’ll be back!

Being my fist time visiting Lily’s, I was pleasantly surprised. The salon was very clean and the staff was friendly. I got a manicure and gel polish from Minhee. She took her time with the polish and the result is beautiful. I usually don’t go to the same nail salon more than once, but the service was so great that I will definitely come back. Minhee also does waxing and hair, in addition to manicures and pedicures. I totally recommend booking your next appointment with her. You absolutely get the service that you pay for.

It came as a shocker to me that acrylic nail services are banned in some cities due to its high levels of toxicity. So, when Jean told me about their QQ gel technique, I was listening!
The QQ process (I got mine with extensions), starts with a gentle buffing, gluing and trimming the extensions, and then laying a thick sticky looking gel on top. It lets your natural nails breathe and gives you minimal damage. There is no acrylic used in any part of the process. They said it’s not AS strong as acrylics, but I haven’t had any problems so far!
Jean was polite and I could tell she was experienced. I have sensitive nails due to years of being nail fabulous, but she checked with me often to see if I was uncomfortable. She had some super cute 3D stuff to add too, I feel her quality of work is like a high end Japanese nail salon’s. Thank you Jean! I’m in love with the QQ!

So Happy I found my forever salon! The salon has such an awesome vibe, it’s décor is so modern and cute! My nail tech Kitty is FABULOUS! I would give her 10 stars if I could! Her skills are so good! She takes her time with your cuticles and with your polish! definitely must go see her, she’s so sweet! Prices are pretty good and you’ll deff get what you paid for and more! The salon is located right Infront of the ala moana mall, next to Nordstrom! Thanks for everything guys! See you in 2 weeks!

I had never been to Lily’s before this but I will definitely come back as long as Kitty is here. My favorite nail professional for the last 4 years! I’ll follow her anywhere she goes, she’s the best of the best.
If you are looking for someone who pays special attention to detail and takes pride in the look of your nails like they are her own, you found her. I feel like I’m giving up a huge secret by recommending her but I’m confident she will still be able to squeeze me into her schedule somehow.
I’m really particular and if I’m getting gel done and pay if a pretty penny for it, I expect perfect nails and I ALWAYS get that from Kitty. She does QQ gel which is better for your nails than acrylic. I don’t always have time to do my nails but when I do the QQ gel and then take it off, my nails aren’t ruined.
I am more conservative with my nails design choice but my friends LOVE all the glitter and colors she offers. She’s been doing nails for 20+ years so she’s quick too without giving up any quality. I will definitely be returning to Lily’s as long as Kitty is there.

My hunny and I got our pedi’s done today and had a great experience! My nail tech listened to what I wanted and did a phenomenal job. She was very sweet and I enjoyed her. My nails turned out great as well as my toes as you can see.
Also If you get threaded the women who threads here is very gentle and knows what she is doing!

Kitty is the best at doing nails and waxing. I’ve been getting my nails done with Kitty for years. She knows exactly what looks good and makes suggestions if you’re hopeless (like myself). I typically get a gel manicure, with a faded glitter pattern… she even does a faded glitter color on your toes. Ask for the QQ Gel, it’s magical. I get my nails done once a month… no chipping. TRUST. She’s the best. Mahalo again, Kitty! See you next month!

A lot of my reviews center on my adventures with either my boyfriend or my best friend. This case is no different. My best friend and I had another lovely girls’ date at this place. It was my first time here, and it was definitely the first of many in the future.
First off, let me just say that my nails are VERY short, and I need to keep them that way because I’m a grad student with many papers to type, and I can NOT stand typing with long nails. That being said, Min Hee still worked with what I had and managed to send me on my way with a beautiful gel manicure with a glitter fade. I love her. Go to her.
From the beginning:
I called ahead of time to make an appointment, and the man that set my appointment told me the total of how much a gel manicure and regular pedicure would be for two people. Then I told him I just wanted to pay for it all ahead of time, so he recalculated the total for me «So there wouldn’t be any surprises.» I’m very good at calculating tax for a living, by truly appreciated his thoughtfulness.
Our appointment was for 10:15 a.m., but brunch was taking longer than expected, so I called to push my appointment back by half an hour. They were hesitant which is natural and expected, but that didn’t stop them from being accommodating and squeezing us in half an hour late. I think they should get extra stars just for this.
My friend and I were very impressed (and a little surprised) with how cute and calming the ambiance was, because the outside was bright yet dingy looking because it’s on Kona street where there’s a lot of traffic. Normally, nail salons are known to be super bright (at least the many that my mom owned were that way), but this one was a bit darker on the inside, and I actually liked that, because it felt more like going to a spa than a nail salon. Oh and it’s CLEAN too. I’ve seen some other nail salons that couldn’t really care less about the cleanliness. This one is on it.
They seriously do everything here form hair and nails, to waxing and threading. They even do makeup and eyelash extensions too! It’s like your one-​stop shop for all your beauty needs! I highly recommend Min Hee. She’s the girl who did my feet and nails, and she’s the sweetest and most attentive girl ever. Not to mention she is very good at what she does. I would give all five stars to her and just be done with it if I wasn’t going for objectivity. Definitely come here and treat yo’self. You won’t regret it! (Ah, I’ve found the title for a new list).
