After 2 years, Roxanne still remembers me and happily welcomed me back! Exactly 2 years ago my living and family life completely changed, but I still wanted to go to Luxz. I was given an appointment right away, set for 2 days after my first call, and I’m so happy that I called! Roxanne is always happy, she has a beautiful office too, with a nice view. I first started coming here with some groupons, and Roxanne shared her knowledge from what techniques she uses and the latest findings from conventions that she attends. She only has your best interest in mind, she is really nice.

It’s been exactly 3 years since I’ve been seeing Roxanne. My monthly ritual, never missed, exactly 36 appointments. My monthly treat that I will continue to indulge in. Do I look 21 again, no. But for 32, my face looks pretty damn good next to friends 8 years younger than me. Thank you Roxanne!

My first encounter with Roxanne I had to cancel the same day as appointment. She was very understanding and made me want to reschedule. I rescheduled a month later and I am so happy I did. Roxanne makes you feel warm and welcome upon entering and throughout your entire procedure. I enjoyed my session so much I scheduled an appointment two months out to return again. Highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely Amazing! Upon entering Luxz, Roxanne greets you with a warm smile and friendly demeanor and kindly asks if you would like a beverage. Scanning the quaint lobby, you notice how clean and luxurious the waiting area is with all the beautiful little details in the décor, which instantaneously provides you with a sparkly feast for your eyes. The lobby is beautifully decorated and I immediately start to feel very relaxed as I patiently await my treatment. Once in the treatment room, Roxanne goes to work and I am transported into another world… I am so relaxed at this point. I decided to get the micro-​demabrasion, microcurrent treatment and Roxanne kindly gave me an oxygen rich, intraceutical treatment as well. The microcurrent treatment was totally amazing, I saw my face «lift» literally… it was a tingly and delightful experience one that I would definitely recommend… and I really SAW the results. I thoroughly enjoyed the intraceutical treatment and my face felt smooth and supple… I could feel and SEE the difference between when I walked in the treatment room and upon leaving my treatment. Roxanne is a well-​skilled professional, who seriously takes an interest in her clients and she provided me with not only a 5-​star facial but took the time to determine what would be the best treatment for me. Luxz is everything you can expect… AND MORE!!! THANK YOU ROXANNE!!!

Great, caring, friendly service by Roxanne. She is thorough and gentle and explains what she is doing throughout her facials, though it’s so relaxing that very shortly I start to fall asleep!
For those who believe that they should see amazing results after one treatment, SERIOUSLY??? After years of abuse to your skin due to environment, poor diet, smoking, drugs (!), etc., etc., it takes TIME to rejuvenate your skin.. .While Roxanne can work wonders if you do what you’re supposed to, she is not GOD! DUH!!!

Ive been a client of Roxanne’s for years, alternating the Intraceuticals oxygen facials and the Microcurrent with Elastin infusion. I try to make it to see her at least once a month when my schedule permits and my skin just keeps getting better with Roxanne’s treatments and the products that she carries :-)
I just tried Luxz’s osmosis Non-​chemical peel and loved it! Fortunately I didn’t peel although Roxanne did inform me that some people do. I even had a bronze look throughout the day as the treatment continued to work throughout the day :-)
Luxz is a salon like no other. Definitely value added service to treatments that only expensive hotel spas are providing, yet not nearly as thorough a facial or consistent as you get from Luxz. It’s like getting the results of a Medispa treatment without the high costs.
And in regards to a negative comment that someone posted here about Luxz not giving a nice answer, I feel that is a misinterpretation. In the years I have been a client of Luxz, roxanne has always been very open, honest and realistic about recommendations and results. Of course you can’t always please everybody, but for what it’s worth, i feel that Roxanne is one of the nicest estheticians I’ve ever encountered and she is full of great advice for skin troubles, which makes Luxz treatments even more beneficial.

Results vary from person to person but for my boyfriend and I, we felt and saw the benefits instantly from the microdermabrasion and elastin infusion package. Roxanne is very friendly as well as knowledgable. She makes you feel at home and like your family. Her office is immaculate, my boyfriend described it as a «five star hotel», he felt like he had to take off his slippers to walk inside because it was so clean and nice!
I bought the package from groupon and redeemed it a few months back. It was about to expire yet Roxanne accommodated me and let me use it even after the expiration date. The treatment was so good that I purchased a couple more, one for my boyfriend to try and one for myself again.
Today was his treatment and he said it was so awesome that we should write another 5 star review for her. He looks younger for sure and we will definitely be coming to see her again. He thinks he discovered the fountain of youth! Haha! Thank you Roxanne!

Not difficult to find, but I’m not a frequent flier of downtown so I got here early thinking I could just wait until my appointment time. Don’t do that. There is nowhere to wait and you’ll get scolded if you wait in the hallway. So you’ll need to sit outside the building like you’re in a timeout. How embarrassing. I guess I can blame my obsessive/​compulsive hatred of being late on that. I was determined not to let that ruin my experience!
When I did get back up to the 12^th floor at my scheduled time, I knocked on the door and was greeted by Roxanne. The ambiance in the room is inviting and relaxing and I felt very comfortable and at ease. I filled out a short questionnaire about my skin, my habits and goals for my skin. As the other reviews state, Roxanne showed me the instrument she would be using for the microdermabraision as well as explained the process for the microcurrent treatment I would also be getting. During the treatments I was very comfortable and relaxed, Roxanne asked me questions and was genuinely interested in my answers, she was very professional and kind. My face feels incredible and looks amazing. She validated my parking, so no worries there. I will definitely be going back for further treatments, this was a great experience.

Awesome experience at Luxz, Roxanne was delightful and knowledgeable. I bought a social coupon for a microdermabrasion but after arriving and talking to Roxanne she suggested that I go and get a Osmosis Non-​Chem Facial Infusion. I was very happy that she was very detailed with what she was doing and constantly asked me how I was feeling during the process. I also felt cared for and felt that she catered to my needs. I left with a bottle of water and a few other products that Roxanne gave me to hold me till my next appointment. Will definitely recommend her to my friends and anyone who is looking for skin treatment.
Side note: Parking in garage and Roxanne covers the cost for you which is awesome.

I was treated as as a valued client, and was rewarded with a sublime, relaxing, facial miracle. I was amazed at the results, and am excited to maintain.

There was an initial scheduling mix-​up. I was super-​impressed with Roxanne’s demeanor. We re-​scheduled, at my convenience. When I met her for our re-​scheculed appointment, I was impressed with her quiet, caring spirit, and soothing hands.

I started going to Roxanne for the micro current facial and I am so pleased with the results! Roxanne is a master at her craft! I highly recommend this treatment to firm up skin.

Roxanne is amazing! I went to Luxz a few weeks ago for my first micodermabrasion appointment and I loved it. She made me feel extremely comfortable and explained everything to me during my facial treatment. It felt so good and my face felt so clean. I already have another appointment in a few weeks at Luxz to try the non chemical peel. The parking was easy! I parked in the parking garage of the building and since it was a Sunday, the parking was free! The spa is decorated beautifully and it is nice and intimate. I also loved how clean everything looked.

WOW! I’ve never had a microdermabrasion before, let alone a diamond one! Roxanne was great! She really knew what she was doing… and she informed me each time of what to expect next. My BF bought me this living social coupon since he knew that I enjoyed facials and massages. I didn’t know what to expect! I parked on bethel street and walked over to the corner of beretania and bishop. There is a parking garage, but I’m not sure how much it is, but since it was a holiday I scored free street parking!
The building is a little older, but once you’re inside Luxz (ring the door bell if it’s locked), it’s very clean and modern. Newly painted, new floor, comfy furniture, and clean bathroom. Roxanne explained to me what was going to happen and showed me the diamond tool that she was going to use. I sat in what looked like a comfy version of a dentist chair (reclining chair with thick blankets). I got under the blanket and Roxanne put a pillow underneath my legs.
She started with a cleanser and then the microdermabrasion. It felt like a cat licking me, not rough, but a gentle grit on my face (she was using the fine grit). Afterwards, she showed me the filter that collected my dead skin and YUCK! It was filled with dead skin! GROSS! She put in another filter and did a little more. She then sprayed some vitamin serum into my skin, into my pores, underneath the upper layer. It was cold and ticklish, but felt really great and hydrated! She finished with some moisturized with SPF, some eye serum, and something else… I felt great!
She offered me this great deal: another hour for the same price that the coupon was for! I prepaid and will be there either next month or in 2 months! Def felt my face smoother! After this, I“m NEVER going back to facials! This technique is great! It sucks up your dead skin, can get into white and black heads… so it’s an extraction and exfoliation in one… with the infusion of nutrients into the skin, not just at the top layer like facials! THIS IS GREAT! If you bought a coupon, go use it! It’s great! :)
