I enjoyed my massage and getting to know Fernando. He is professional and very nice. His rates are very reasonable for massage.
He has 10 plus years of experience with massage. He is very busy so you should book with him a day or more in advance. He will book you if he has no other appointments but he is normally busy.
I will have Fernando as one of my therapist to call on when I need a good long massage.

I’ve had a massage with Fernando before.
I text Fernando and scheduled a two hour massage with him while I was in Oahu.
Great deep tissue massage! I felt so much better after. Just couldn’t wait to come back for more…

Best massage I’ve ever had! After trying a few other more expensive massage parlours on the island, I discovered Fernando who conveniently lives 2 minutes away. I was a bit hesitant to go to a private residence for a massage by a male, but after reading a few other positive Unilocal reviews, I decided to check him out. For anyone else feeling a bit hesitant, let me assure you, Fernando is super professional and instantly makes you feel comfortable. He’s also always very accommodating — even when I ask for a last minute appointment. As for the massage, it’s ahhh-​ma-​zing! I am usually the type who has a hard time relaxing and always has a million and one things on my mind, but somehow, within 5 minutes, I’m always so relaxed and often find myself drifting in and out of sleep. It’s clear that Fernando is passionate about what he does and works hard to make sure clients leave satisfied. I highly recommend checking him out if you are looking for an amazing, affordable massage in a beautiful, relaxing venue.

Mobile massage therapist!
I beat myself up regularly at the gym or at yoga. Sometimes I push myself a little too hard and end up injuring various parts of my body. This weekend it was my back. I couldn’t even sit in a chair without my back screaming at me. I tried stretching. I tried anti-​inflammatory pills. It hurt to sit. It hurt to stand. The pain would not go away and neither would my kids so I searched Unilocal for «mobile massage therapist» to see if someone could come to my house to work on my back. It was a holiday and I didn’t think I would be able to find anyone on such short notice.
Fernando responded quickly and said he would fit me in at the end of his day. Yesss. Already off to a great start. At first we agreed that he would come to my house but in the end I drove up to his place because I didn’t want to wait any longer than I had to.
LOCATION: He works out of a room on the side of the house in a residential neighborhood. Parking is on the street at the end of a cul-​de-​sac. If you want Aulani spa treatment go to Aulani. This is for when you’re in so much pain you don’t need the fluff.
HOUSE CALLS: he has his own mobile massage table so he will come to you for a nominal fee which is nice if you have kids at home that aren’t quite old enough to leave alone yet.
UNDER PRESSURE: Oh he can give it. He is not gentle. None of that Sweedish massage garbage. Come here because you want a deep tissue massage. Come here when you really need to heal. Come here because you want someone to really get into each muscle group and tear apart the knots. Come here because you want to say «owwwwwww» when he finds all the tense spots in your back and neck.
PRICE: way better than those overpriced spas and hotels. See attached picture. $ 70 for 90min! $ 90 for 2hrs!
It would be unfair for me to expect him to cure my back in one visit. It’s hard to undo in one hour what took months of self abuse to accomplish. However, he did a pretty freaking fantastic job and I can’t wait to go back. Some women get their hair, nails, or eyelash extensions regularly. Not me. I rather have a bombtastic massage and I think I’ve found it. Next time I’m doing the 2 hr massage.

Fernando is awesome!!! I have been going to see him since he was in massage school many many years ago and his massage and his energy is top notch! Being a massage therapist and physical therapist myself i can sometimes be a bit nit picky with therapists, but I can truly say that I have never had anything but an excellent experience with Fernando. I recommend him to all my patients and friends. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Fernando for keeping me going!!! You are a true healer!!!

Best massage I’ve ever had in my life. Fernando rolled out all the knots and is a genuinely nice guy. He was able to squeeze me in his schedule in such short notice.

I’ve gone to him in the past and he is the best I’ve had, possibly ever. He makes me feel comfortable and he’s the only guy I’ve ever gone to, I usually prefer a girl. I found out about him through an old roommate.
He likes to give a longer massage because he says its most beneficial for the body and I agree. I went to him once to rescue my arm that I had injured at work. I couldn’t sleep for 3 days from the pain, I set up an appointment, and he cured me. Hes THAT good. Drink lots of water after the massage.
He works out of his house, theres this separate room in the front of the house. Its very professional.

Fernando is great!!! His massages are deep and relaxing, and he uses a variety of techniques such as deep-​tissue, lomi-​lomi, Swedish, and even foot massages (reflexology) to my liking. He’s very understanding to those who have few financial means, and has also helped out friends I’ve referred to him. ;) He’s also not one of those «clock-​watchers» and will in general give you more time than you’re scheduled for. I’ve been going to him regularly for several years, and I highly recommend him.

I’ve suffered from chronic back pain for as long as I can remember and have been getting massages pretty regularly for about 10 years now. My criteria for finding a place to go has always been price (I am always looking for a good deal) and I figured, all massages feel great, so why spend more than I need to?
Whether it’s good karma or fate or just pure chance, I found Massage by Fernando through a Unilocal deal and I will no longer go get my massages anywhere else!
Seriously. His massage was so therapeutic and relaxing, that I was feeling guilty half way through because I felt bad that he was working so hard! I got the two hour massage and it totally changed my perspective on massages. All massages are not the same. He has perfected this art. My only disclaimer is that if you have never gotten a massage before– let him know how comfortable you are. I know my mom would be too shy to have anyone touch her besides her back and feet so she wouldn’t have enjoyed the full body massage that I had gotten. He also massages out of a comfy and quaint side room in his house so that might make some people uncomfortable as well. But he is completely professional and if you are a little unsure at first, then have him come to you for your first massage because he is willing to travel! His house is at the top of a windy drive and you will end up at a cul-​de-​sac where you just park next to the curb.
I have found that previously, I would enjoy the massage, but always felt like I needed longer or more pressure to really get out all the knots and kinks. Fernando’s massage was the first time that I felt like he had gotten to everything. I am so grateful! And the cherry on top?!?- His prices!!! How can someone with this much talent charge the standard amount, and actually less than most other places? He’s one of the only people that gives you a really good deal for the longer you get a massage!
I wanted to take the time to write a good review because I feel he is more than deserving. I just hope I don’t regret it later if he becomes too popular and gets harder to book an appointment with :)

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Fernando for a very long time now because his massages have significantly improved my health and well being!!!
Fernando was referred to me by a very dear friend who knew that not many massage therapists could deliver the type of deep tissue pressure that I wanted. From reading other’s reviews, I realize one of the best things about Fernando is that he tailors the massage to your preference. For the longest time, I would call Fernando when I was in pain from knots under my shoulder blades and neck tension. Now I am smart enough to schedule a monthly massage with him.
Fernando is extremely accomodating. He will drive to your place of residence, but I actually prefer to go to his massage studio. You are greeted by a gorgeous view when you enter and can enjoy the calm ambiance he has created (soothing music, zen fountain, aromatherapy, and soothingly cool AC gently blowing). Additionally, Fernando’s prices are reasonable and he is very flexible in scheduling which is especially important when living life in fast forward.
Beyond a doubt, Fernando is one of the most skilled massage therapists I know. It is evident he takes pride in his work and is a true professional who cares about improving all his clients’ health. He takes the time to get to know you, and you never feel like you are someone being shuffled in and out of a business where you may just be a number. I was lucky that Fernando was referred to me by a dear friend. Now, I am recommending him to you and hope that you appreciate him as much as I do!

I was a little worried about going to a male massage therapists’ private residence for a massage, but Fernando was AWESOME. He listened to where I want him to focus on. I always have lots of knots and massage therapists always like to use a lot of pressure and it leaves me feeling bruised. Not Fernando. He got my knots out without the bruised feeling. He’s wonderful and his prices are great.

Fernando is the best massage therapist I’ve ever experienced! He is simply truly amazing. I moved from Honolulu about 6 years ago to San Diego, and still to this day I have not been able to find someone anywhere near as good as he is. Whenever I travel back to Honolulu either for work or a visit, I ALWAYS make sure to see Fernando for a massage. Seriously, my trip back home is never complete without a massage from him!
I tend to hold a lot of tension in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. I work a lot on a computer, sleep on my side, carry around a heavy purse, and don’t stretch as much as I should. All these factors result in a lot of very tight upper back, shoulder, and neck muscles. I’m not sure exactly what style of massage Fernando employs, but it feels like a combination of swedish, shiatsu, thai, lomi lomi, and deep tissue. I just tell him where it hurts, and he gets to work! Whatever it is that he does, it works, and he somehow always uses just the right amount of pressure. And it feels SO. GOOD. His prices are affordable, and he is very professional and friendly. And bonus! He always has the best music playing in the background! Really! I’m not able to completely enjoy a massage if crappy music is playing, so the fact that he plays cool chill, down-​tempo, new agey (think Enigma) music with soothing aromatherapy during his 90+ min massages, is really just the cherry on top of a purely tranquil and revitalizing experience. I definitely recommend Fernando to anyone looking for a superior massage. It’s worth the trip back to Hawaii!

Fernando Torres is ONE of the BEST massage therapists on the island of Oahu. He is mobile so he can drive anywhere on the island for you to enjoy a massage in the comfort of your own home. He is awesome, amazing and he massages me and my hubby every other week! Every person I have referred Fernando to, still calls to set up appointments till today! He hasn’t dissapointed any of my friends and family members.
I am one tough cookie when it comes to being picky and finicky if I dont like your massage. In day spa’s I have told therapists straight how they waste my time with massages that just rub lotion on my skin and not get the knots out of my back and especially my Lower back.
Fernando has been massaging me and my other half for going on to 4 years! He has a great personality, he is comfortable to be around and I have never felt akward around him. He is now one of my personal good friends that I always invite to our family parties.
He did massages for my good friends brides maids (and I was the maid of honor) Soooo AWESOME!
He also has a massage studio in his home up Waialae Iki Ridge on Hawane Place. It is a soothing scene with a waterfall rock garden, then you enter the darkened room and listen to beautiful soothing music. Candles lit everywhere for the peaceful relaxation in his massage studio. He has great taste in furnishings too!
The prices are so awesome I cant see myself going to someone else. Since I am like a referral for being his good friend, he gives great friend rates. Its usually $ 80 for an hour and a half and $ 110 for a 2 hour massage.
If you live far and need him to drive to you, he usually just tacks on a driving fee of $ 10-​$ 20 depending on the distance.
Overall Fernando is one of the BEST MASSAGE THERAPISTS on this ISLAND!
