I was one of the first renters at Nalu Storage occupying (2) lockers for two of my longboards. Several friends also have lockers including SUPs and we are all overwhelmingly satisfied with the design, operation, and location. Maurie is always responsive, responsible, and professional in dealing with any issue (and there have been very very few issues), he personally went to replace one of my rusted locks for me! Customer service at its finest. I have a lot of visiting friends that use my boards and are very grateful for the convenience and accessibility. I travel a lot but I’m confident that my boards will be secure. If you’ve got a board rent a locker!

I recently switched my SUP storage from another place in Waikiki. The price for Nalu Storage is comparable to other storage companies, but Nalu really beats the competition with their customer service and beachside location. Maurie went above and beyond to get me and my board to the site, and he helped me get everything set up. In addition, he is very quick to respond to emails and text messages. I highly recommend this company!

I’ve been renting a surf locker long-​term (year round) from Maurie since 2013 when I first stared surfing. I started with a month to month but only did that for a couple before signing up for the year-​round and haven’t looked back. With my board in the locker I get in the water at least 4 – 5 times a week and almost everyday during the summer swells. It’s convenient, safe, and Maurie is the BEST — always responsive and accommodating. If you want to get more surf, get with Nalu Storage.

I was in Waikiki for 5 days and wanted to rent a longboard for the entire trip, but knew I couldn’t keep it in the hotel. I found Nalu Storage online and couldn’t have been happier. I happen to stay at the Sheraton Waikiki which was just one hotel away from the lockers. Perfect location next to the Royal Hawaiian. Maurie was great and had the locks all set up for when I arrived. I was able to surf a few times each day without having to worry about where to put the board in between sessions. Nothing like piece of mind to make my trip that much better. Thanks Maurie!

We have been storing 2 long boards in the Nalu Storage lockers next to the Cheesecake factory for about 2 years. The location is excellent! Right on Waikiki beach in the lane between the Cheesecake factory and the Outrigger hotel. Maurie manages the rental of the lockers and he is so professional and enthusiastic. One of the most prompt professional people I’ve ever worked with in Hawaii. He promptly returns phone calls and inquiries about the lockers. We got our locker set up the same day we bought our first board and realized it would not fit into the elevator of our apartment building! He even helped me get my husband’s new board into the locker last minute as a surprise gift. The lockers rental price might seem like a splurge but when you realize how much more often you will get out surfing it is well worth the money we pay. We currently surf 3 to 4 days a week. These are the fess posted on the Nalu Storage web site. You also get a handful of validation passes for the garage in the Royal Hawaiian garage. The validation makes the parking $ 4 for about 2 hours of parking. Perfect for a fun surfing session.

Our boards are safe, never had problems. There are security cameras and lighting too! Maurie is a nice guy, honest, dependable, helpful. Responds quickly to texts or emails. The location is very convenient and we love the parking passes. So much easier for me to have my long board there and surf whenever I please. Price it great!

Excellent customer service. We are due to arrive 4^th June and Maurie already arranged two lockers; one for me and one for my son. Price is reasonable with just over 0ne dollar daily with the annual option (12x$ 35). When I was stationed here 2006 – 2009, I did what most surfers: park at the zoo and then walk almost a mile to the queens site by the Waikiki PD (exercise in futility!) Now it’s just across the street. The courtesy parking at the Royal Hawaiian Center is Another consolation. Lastly, this whole experience (locker, surfing, Hawaiian Center) can certainly impress any mainlanders guest (s).

I’ve been using this storage locker for almost a year now and it has been such a breeze! I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to drag their 10 foot paddle board around Waikiki. Well maintained and at a good price. Can’t beat the location. Maurie is very nice, attentive and quick to respond. Super easy and safe board storage.

I’ve rented from Nalu Storage/​Maurie for several times now, and it’s always an A+ service! Perfectly located lockers in Waikiki, right in between Queens, Canoes and Pops surf breaks. Easy to bring a car by and drop off, always secure. I wish I could give six stars!

I used Maurie’s storage when I was renting boards short term (7 – 14 days) (incidentally — from Blue Planet Surf who deliver and pickup from here) and Maurie is fantastic to work with. Prices are great and location is ideal. Now I own a board and I would go nowhere else. Prices are still great and location is still ideal. Maurie is great. Did I mention that Maurie is great? I see him in the alley and on the water. I feel like we’re longtime friends even though I only see him periodically. He’s THAT friendly. And, I love it that he visit the area regularly and looks out after his business and his customers. Good prices, great location, high quality system and a big friendly smile. Whether I just want to let Maurie know I’m coming into town, or have a question or even a funny comment — between email and text, I feel I’m in touch with Maurie at all times. Nothing is left to chance. Love the guy — love the storage. What else could you ask for? You’d be pupule (crazy) to go anywhere else.

Finally! Nalu Storage started business just in time for my moving out of Waikiki. You can get as many lockers as you like (if available, obviously). Not like the county lockers. Keep your short, long and sup boards in one place and never check the surf again before you leave home. Just walk the 100 feet to the front of the Royal Hawaiian and check the surf from publics to threes and select the board for the day, nice to be able to swap out to mid-​session too.
Location is perfect with quick access to Queens, Canoes and Pops. Get validated parking and no more walking from the zoo, or wherever.
Super easy to get, add and renew lockers. There is no better option for your board storage for the price and convenience. What are you waiting for?

Love this storage space. It is located in the heart of Waikiki right next to the Cheesecake Factory and is right on the beach. Plenty of space to maneuver the boards in and out and super secure.

Maurie is super helpful and got us hooked up with long term storage for our paddleboard. The space is amazing… a few steps to the sand and safe, easy, and secure. I am just glad there was an opening for my supersized SUP… Maurie took extra time to try it in a few lockers to make sure my fin fit well beside the neighbors’ boards. Area only gets 1.5 hours of sun a day, so you can feel confident that your board isnt going to roast. Top notch operation. Thanks, Maurie!

Maurie at Nalu storage does a great job! I think he runs a first class operation. Not only are my boards safe, but the customer service is excellent. Anytime I need help with my board Maurie is always there. You can’t have it any easier getting to the water.
I purchased a couple boards from Blue Planet over the phone from the mainland. Maurie met the guys at my locker and set it up so when I arrived I was ready to going surfing. I couldn’t of asked for better customer service. He went way beyond my expectations
