I’d highly recommend you not come in right before close unless you have time to wait. I made the mistake of coming in on my lunch break and spent more than half of my break waiting for food. Luckily the manager could see my frustration and gave me a discount. Excellent customer service in my point of view. I got exactly what I wanted and left happy. I’d definitely return to this location.

I am giving this location two stars because of service. It was horrible. Ok, so there were several people ahead of me, and who knows how many people had just left, but to see food bins practically empty and being told I has to wait for my chow funn, but cooks standing around with their fingers up their noses(not literally) was disturbing. Apparently the clerk who was waiting on a family of 6 couldn’t get the order right. The clerk/manager helping me totally bailed on me, and never came back. I had to do the, «hello, excuse me, am I invisible?» thing. Another lady was waiting for her order and was offered free food and a beverage, but I got shafted. Way to go! Sure won’t be patronizing this location again. The second star is for the food. It was good.

Small variety choice of main dish but they have very nice customer service and great portion of foods. I like this Panda Express. They are always nice and friendly!

I stopped by on my lunch break to grab some food. There was a little but of a line but it was moving really fast. The man who helped was named Ron. He thanked me for waiting and handed me a free sample without even asking(some kind of shrimp… super good). I gave him my order and he had it for me very fast. I was VERY impressed with his customer service… i wasn’t expecting it to be that great from a fast food chain restaurant. Two thumbs up Ron!

The food is barely average and not cooked well. It’s way over priced and their starch: fried rice, chow Funn, and chow mein, don’t even have meat in it. I had beef broccoli, some green and some yellowish. The add $ 1.50 for things like steak and spareribs. Two choice can run you over $ 10 if you got steak or soareibs

I think I have only not enjoyed one meal out of hundreds from all the Panda Express’ I have visited. And I’ll give that location a break because they were new and just opened that day. Maybe their woks weren’t seasoned well yet. No matter which location you go to, you can expect the same quality and taste. This is the Mc Donald’s of Chinese food. A Goto place when you’re hungry for Chinese without the wait. They don’t use MSG, so no problem here with my sensitivity to it. Highly recommended.

Yeah, once in a while I like to eat some fast food Chinese… is the food good? Well, I know what I’m gonna get… it’s not the best, but it’s not bad either, so long as you pick the right items. Panda’s is like a modern day«Patti’s Chinese Kitchen»(for you old skool people, you know what I’m talkin’ about!). It’s basically a cafeteria style thing where you pick one starch(Rice, Chow Funn, Chow Mein, Brown Rice), then you pick your entrée… the more entrée’s you pick, the more you pay. My recent stop at Panda’s was inside the Kahala Mall shopping center, as I just wanted to grab something fast… but wasn’t feeling burgers, taco’s, pizzas, or salad. Upon walking up the the counter, I picked some Chow Funn noodles, then proceeded to take the String Beans with Chicken Breast, and I also picked an Orange Chicken. How the grub? Not bad at all… edible, but now outstanding either! But of course I knew what I was gonna get, so I had no high expectations of this place. The Chow Funn was pretty good… not salty at all. Orange Chicken is always good… I like the slight tangy-ness of the sauce on the chicken. And of course the string beans were cooked perfectly… not overcooked where it can get soggy. The line moves pretty fast here, and there are a lot of people who come here for a quick Chinese plate lunch… for a 2 item entrée & starch, it runs about $ 8.76 or so… A great place to go, if you’re craving some quick Chinese fast food… at least you can get in & out quickly, and have something to fill your tummy with!

Normally, this panda is about the same as all the other pandas but today it was a bit sub-par. Since I live around the area, I frequent here when I need a quick dinner. Today, the spring rolls were soggy which I assume they are every once in a while so I must have gotten the end of a batch. But another thing that happened was that the person in front of me ordered honey walnut shrimp and one dropped into the fried rice. As someone who is allergic to nuts, this concerned me a bit. I can’t expect them to throw away an entire batch of fried rice but it made me wonder if this happens often as they’re shoveling food onto people’s plates.

Panda Express is one of my newest discoveries(how I never went before is completely beyond me). It’s a guilty pleasure; a restaurant where I am always satisfied because of taste, ingredients, portion size, and just a general happiness at eating. One of my favorite dishes right now is the Beijing Beef– lightly breaded good quality beef in a tangy/spicy sauce with diced red peppers. The white and fried rice are both great, always moist and hot, but I love the lo mein! This was my first time eating at this particular location, and I enjoyed it. Kahala Mall on Labor Day was inundated with shoppers, but most seemed to forget this little wing of the mall was there. It’s a bright restaurant with plenty of seats away from the queuing line. Everything is clean. I felt that I was irritating because I repeated asked for more free water(most other locations the drink dispenser is self-serve). I had the beef mentioned above and also the beef & broccoli. All the veggies are cut fresh daily. I recommend eating here as a break from the hustle and bustle of shopping!

One of the workers, her name was Grace, rolled her eyes at my husband and I when we ordered our food today. She asked in a very angry tone how many plates we were ordering when clearly we said 1 in the beginning. She needs to either go home and cool off or just get fired because that was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Always great food! Can’t go wrong with Panda! Service was friendly and welcoming! :). Ordered two egg rolls with sauce as well as two choices of Beijing beef and orange chicken with fried rice! Sooooo good! The egg rolls were pretty big I should’ve ordered one lol. That’s a pretty good side order!

As far as chains go, this place makes pretty good mass produced Chinese food. And when I’m being too lazy to cook, this place gets even better to me. Don’t forget to ask for samples before you buy here, because you can taste to your heart’s content(within reasonable limits). I don’t think you’ll be disappointed but it never hurts to try before you buy. Pretty good fast food, at least in my opinion. Conveniently located for a shopping trip in Kahala Mall, too.

Four stars. Panda Express. The go to, when there’s no where to go. Nah, actually, for fast food, Panda’s is pretty good. Of course, I could be chewing down on plain olé McNuggets, but I’d rather have the orange chicken here than a McNugget. At least now, instead of rice or noodles as the only starch options, they have steamed veggies. Good concept & healthy!

Does anyone feel the flavor or texture of their fried rice has changed, used to be a big fan of it only a couple of months ago but now it just doesn’t seem the same, not even close. My other thought is their chow fun looks so good and flavorful but it ends up having no flavor, so I now choose their fried noodles, never used to. The place serves it’s purpose off a quick Chinese food fix, don’t get me wrong, I still go, but just wanted to state my observations.

While eating my Beijing Beef kids meal, I began chewing on something very hard and rubbery. I honestly thought at first it was a bad piece of meat and I discovered it was a RUBBERBAND! It was about an inch to an inch and half wide clear rubber band that obviously has been cooked with the beef because it was stained an orange/red color. I understand things can happen and this was not an intentional mistake but when I brought it to the attention of the employees they literally started laughing and then simply said, «oh, sorry about that» and turned around to get more food for another customer. Never did they check the Beijing Beef for other foreign objects or even offer to refund my meal. I have contacted the corporate office and I still have not received a response. This could have turned out really bad for me or any other customer because a rubber band could easily cause choking and potentially hurt someone. Again, I want to stress that I am not as upset about having it in my food as I am how the employees responded when I brought it to their attention.

I come here often when I have no idea what to do for lunch and always get the same thing: chow funn, tofu/eggplant and broccoli beef. The chow funn is uninspiring, but enjoy it more than the chow mien. The rest is pretty predictable, but the chili is the eggplant varies quite a bit. I enjoy the chili, but sometimes it’s a bit on the mild side. The broccoli beef has a yummy smoky flavor. Many people go for the orange chicken, but it’s too much sugar for me.

I can tolerate Chinese food to a point, but Panda Express is pretty good with what they serve. I guess I am one of the very few Chinese people who dislike the chinese cuisine, even though I have grown up with it all my life. I probably would have turned my attention to other places, but Panda’s seem to be the better choice, even though they are still fast food and not really healthy. But I am guessing everyone knows that. Located in the Kahala Mall Shopping Center, next to the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, Panda Express caters to everyone and anyone who needs the attractiveness of Panda Express. With that being said, Panda Express is decent enough to calm your hunger cravings for Chinese food. The ingredients are decidedly fresh and they are constantly cooking the entrees in the kitchen just so you can get your choice of good entrees along with whatever you want to have with your starch(chao mein, chao fun, or just plain ol white rice).Like the name implies, Panda’s employs the standard high school cafeteria style way of ordering. Where you would pick and choose what you want and they are going to grab and portion out what you want. Slide your dish — dine in or take out — towards the cashier and pay. Not like I would want to have that dining experience, but sometimes, It just has to be done that way I suppose. Panda Express always has their classic Chinese items, where many people know it’s Chinese food the world over. Then they have other dishes where the genius comes to play and they mix whatever they can and it comes out to be a flavorful companion to your chao mein. Sometimes, there are others that are hit and misses. Can’t really screw up Chinese food though. Either you love it, tolerate it, or dislike the cuisine, but there are millions, if not billions already loving the stuff. But anyway, the atmosphere is basically fast food. No escaping that. The food is ok, but not epically good, which says a lot. Fast food is fast food. The service is decent like machines who serve you food and you just swipe your credit card or just pay cash. Like Wal-Mart at times. Prices are decent to moderate pricey — for Chinese food anyway. Sometimes, I would just roll my eyes at the pricing and at how much food they give, but whatever. Sometimes, the value for the food given isn’t worth it. But sometimes, I just need to get in and eat Chinese since I haven’t had it for a while. While there are better more upscale restaurants that I would recommend, like P. F. Changs, this place is basically the budget friendly Chinese cuisine you have come to know and love. Overall, this place is good for the money, but I probably wouldn’t come here on a regular basis. C+

Panda Express is conveniently placed in Kahala Mall across from Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. They’re always cooking so fresh food comes out constantly. They let you choose multiple things for your starch. When I like about panda is that when they come out with new dishes they give aways samples for FREE. Keep an eye out for coupons on FB. Their latest was for a sample serving for Angus Steak. When we went on 4⁄17 they sold out but what was cool was the manager(I think that’s who he was) signed our coupon and said that we could come back on another day and still get the sample. This was much better than Cinnabon who had a coupon come out on FB but said oh we’re not participating. BOO! I also like that they have shoyu, hot mustard and hot chili packets. Just ask for them Must try: Free Coupons.
