I had a plain black coffee — it was weak and tasted of cardboard. I can’t say that I’ll be going back. There are multiple other coffee shops to patronize in Honolulu.

If you get tired of Honolulu coffee, this is the next best thing available steps from the beach! Reasonably priced and perfectly located in the lobby of the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach before you head to the beach or into the valet. The staff are friendly but seating is limited as it is a very small coffee shop.

absolute worst service i have ever had in my life from a woman named na’haune or something like that. she worked by herself on oct/14/2014. i had to go back and ask my wife what she wanted because i did not know if she wanted a hot or cold latt’e. she works right next to this place. i tell the lady i wanted a ice latt’e for my wife. she flips out with a horrible attitude and said that i should of never told her i wanted a hot one. i told her that i would be back because i forgot what my wife wanted. the lady already made the hot latt’e and blamed me for her pouring it out. it was her fault that she made it before i could tell her what my wife wanted. she then lashed out at me with a horrrrrible attitude and said that i am wasting the stores money by doing that. she then went to another customer and said out loud” i am not dealing with that right now!” i politely asked her to repeat what she said, because i was getting pissed off. she then argued out loud with me in front of the other customer. so i asked who her manager was. she said she was the manager. there is no way a manager will act or talk like that! regardless of what happened, this lady should have never copped an attitude with me and argued with me, especially in front of another customer. then she told me «no» when i asked what the number to her owner or someone in charge was. on top of that, while she was having a horrible attitude, she denied me service!!! she was nice to the«local customer» though!!! she started talking mess about me as soon i walked out after her telling me to get out. i stopped and heard everything. there was way more horrible things she said out loud, but for the sake of the business i will not say. i am actively seeking the owners phone number. if this is what great customer service is here then count me out!!! me and my wife will never come back again! wish i could have not even gave it a one star. worst customer service i have ever encountered in my whole life.

Pluses: Good coffee, Cons: Very small, not many places to sit, lack of interesting atmosphere. Verdict: Good place to grab a drink on the go, but not a great Morning or afternoon hangout. Should have added the the beach side of the hotel so you would have a view.

It was 4th of July and I wanted to quench my thirst. I wasn’t in the mood to get something from a mart, so I came here instead. Didn’t want to walk the extra few to Starbucks or Jamba. I got the spiced chai ice blended drink. It was okay, nothing special. My first time trying Seattle’s, but based off this first drink, I guess it’s not my type. I’m going to stick to my other regular places.

Super-convenient little coffee shop in the lobby of the Outrigger. Friendly staff. It’s sure pricey though. I guess that’s Hawaii for ya…

I was in here every morning of my stay while in Waikiki… Bagel & cream cheese for me. Toasted. That’s it… Nice & hot. comes with real philly cream cheese which is my favorite. It was a consistent early morning snack for me. I also tried their crumb coffee cake which was great. It was really good and moist. One morning I changed it up and got a bagel breakfast sandwich which came with sausage patty, egg and cheese. It was just too cheesy and oily after they toasted the sammich for my liking. It was just ok… I ate it all cause I was hungry but I wouldn’t get it again. Service was quick, friendly and consistent throughout my stay. That’s all I can ask for at 7 in the morning.

Ok, so here’s a weird one for you. Went in this morning with my travel mug and asked for brewed coffee. Was told that due to sanitary reasons, I would have to pick a size, order that, and then pour the cup into my travel mug. So, I picked a large, was handed that cup, poured it into my travel mug, handed the empty cup to the barista, who promptly threw it in the trash. I’ve ordered hundreds of cups of coffee in dozens of coffee shops in several states. Never run across this before. What an idiotic policy.

Outrigger Waikiki provided a book of discount coupons upon check-in, one of the coupons was from Seattle’s Best wherein for under $ 10 you get a coffee, orange juice, and a pastry. My husband got the coffee, I got the OJ, and we shared a banana bread. For the succeeding days, my husband had to pay $ 4.97 for his large cappuccino fix. I’m deducting a star because they were out of the chai latte the first time I tried to order it. I’m deducting another star because they could improve on the wait time.

The barista was nice but the drinks are very pricey… probably because it’s in the Outrigger Waikiki. The chai tea latte with soy milk is pretty good! Probably won’t come back here though because of the location and prices.

It’s always odd to think that Seattle’s Best Coffee is owned by Starbucks, but I can appreciate the label for not being so omnipotent like its counterpart. I normally get my caffeine fix with a simple brewed coffee which I take black, but I recently discovered the new Ultimate Mocha here and fell in love. It’s topped with whipped cream and your choice of 1. Super Chocolatey(chocolate whipped cream, ground espresso and dark chocolate curls), 2. Spicy Sprinkle(sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, orange flavors and a hint of chile), and 3. Salted Toffee(sea salt and crunchy«caramelicious» toffee flavors). I’m a chocoholic so I go for Super Chocolatey served hot. The mocha itself is pleasantly smooth with a dark chocolate flavor that is rich and most certainly tastes«premium». The bitterness and sweetness are well balanced in the mocha, but the additional chocolate toppings tip the scale to sweet and make the drink decadent and addicting all around. Most important is that the drink gets me going. A combination of caffeine-high and sugar-high perhaps, but effective nonetheless. This particular location is pretty small but they seem to have most of the amenities and menu items that you would expect from a typical coffee chain. There are pastries, sandwiches, fruit salads, and surprisingly, soda(Coca-Cola? Seriously?). The only things that are lacking is the availability of wi-fi and the space to put more than just a couple tables. The place pretty much just caters mostly to Outrigger guests and staff, but it’s convenient enough for the general public since there aren’t any coffee places within its immediate vicinity, except for the slightly pricier Honolulu Coffee Company in the Moana Surfrider. The people here have so far been really nice and personable. There are probably around 10 employees if not fewer working this place since it’s such a small venue, so it’s not hard to get acquainted. If not for them, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Outrigger Waikiki and Outrigger Waikiki store-employee discount available.
