My brother needed a new pair of glasses asap after his cheap glasses broke. We went to Sam’s Club first and they actually suggested that we go to Seoul Optical because Sam’s couldn’t take our insurance and we would have to pay almost $ 200 out of pocket. We decided to go across the street to Seoul Optical, but the only problem? They were about to close! So I called them three minutes before closing and without hesitation, the shop owner told us to come in.
Luckily, Kenny patiently stayed with us, along with another customer, even though it was past closing time. There’s a variety of glasses to choose from, and they all look stylish! They also carry brand name glasses. Just be wary of the store hours because they close at 6. Definitely will be buying my glasses here!

I’ve been going to Seoul Optical for 4 years now, and the service is always fast. I got my glasses readjusted today, and it was done perfectly and in no time at all! Prompted me to write my first Unilocal review ever. :)

I’ve been coming here since 2008. I have always been happy with the selection and service that they give. Kenny is very informative on what your insurance will cover. I have brought sunglasses here several times to have prescription lenses as well as purchasing regular frames and lenses.

Was in need of purchasing my new glasses looked at a couple of reviews and was actually told to go to Sams Club across the street. I decided to go to see Kenny glad that I did. The selection was sufficient for me to choose from, although the Kenny found me my current look. It’s not your 24hour service but for the cost and awesome customer service I will defiantly return. Ohm they also file for your insurance coverage…

My first experience buying glasses from anywhere other than Walmart or Sam’s Club. I was greeted by a nice Korean man asking me what I was looking for. I had just broken my glasses a couple weeks ago and I needed a new pair. So I took a few minutes to try on different frames until he suggested to try on a square frame pair and they were a perfect match! He told me my glasses would be ready in a half hour and I was surprised. Came back around noon and tried them back on and it was slightly readjusted and I absolutely LOVE them. I also love not having to pay an arm and a leg. The glasses only costed me $ 130! Quality service and quality product for less than what I normally pay for. This is definitely a place worth going to. I will be coming back again soon!

Hands down #1 on the island, today was my 4^th time going to see Kenny. He truly is a professional when it comes to his work. Great customer service every time. I don’t really write many reviews but for Kenny I felt I had to take time In my day to share with Unilocal.

I went in today to kill time while my girlfriend had an appointment hour later walked out with some much need sunglasses with my prescription that Kenny keeps on file.

Very cheap for such good quality lenses and great services. I highly recommend everyone to come here for eye glasses. It only took him less than an hour to finish my order. I broke my glasses this morning and didn’t have to wait to get a new pairs.

Found my new «go-​to» glasses shop! The owner was very friendly, patient and kind! I looked around and found frames that fit perfectly! I got a pair that is very light weight and made in Korea. Fits my asian nose very well, so I don’t need to keep pushing them up! My prescription was only for computer glasses, so he told me that it would be ready in an hour. Went to do my Sam’s club/​Walmart run and then went back to pick them up! He was so friendly, and said if I ever have any problems, please return and he’ll be more than happy to help! Recommend to EVERYONE!!!
You can park in the structure, grab a ticket from the attendant and they will validate at the shop. :) 30 minute validation.

This is the best place to get glasses in Honolulu, possibly Oahu. Kenny, the man behind the counter, is very friendly and visibly loves his job. While I was waiting to get my own pair, I watched him help a middle-​aged gentleman pick out new frames. Kenny was patient and helpful, suggesting all the pairs that could have matched that man’s taste.
Selection here is pretty good for men’s frames and the women’s selection looked decent at a glance.
Customer comfort is a big thing here. They give free parking in the adjacent structure. The store has wifi, an electric water cooler (which makes dudes like me nerd out), and a big screen TV that plays animal footage, the type you’d see on National Geographic. Kenny G was on the speakers, according to Shazam. The light jazz was very comforting, it was like an eyeglass store inside of a hotel.
It’s hard to understate Kenny’s enthusiasm. I noticed many optometrists and others who help with eyesight are passionate about their work and that’s nice to see. Kenny happily answered my questions because he cared about serving his customers. I imagine this dude constantly thinks of ways to make himself better. When someone does something they love, there’s an undeniable energy they radiate.
I recommend this place to anyone who needs new lenses or wants a new look. You can’t go wrong with friendly service, free parking and an excellent storefront!

Friendly owner and workers. Affordably priced. I ordered my first sets of contacts from here and the owner was so accommodating and friendly helping me through the process and explaining what I needed to do in order to get contacts. Customer service is what makes this place amazing!

Great customer service. I found cheaper glasses online but opted to stick with this place. I got glasses here 6 months ago thru my insurance but they were destroyed leaving me virtually blind. My insurance covers 1 pair every 2 years. Seoul Optical sold me an even better pair at a deep discount. I highly recommend this place.

I had a fabulous experience at Seoul Optical! The customer service was first rate and the price was more than reasonable. As a first time customer, I was given a free upgrade of my lenses. The selection of frames are very tasteful. The shop is clean, bright and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. I had the option of picking up my glasses on the same day or next day.
My HMSA insurance was accepted and my copay for a pair of new glasses was $ 30!

When you need something done with your eye glasses or sunglasses, you MUST come here. The service is friendly, efficient, perfect and you get exactly what you need.
Free parking in their structure. The owner has a very good feeling about him and it’s genuine.
Since I don’t have a nose bridge, I’ve had numerous sunglasses altered to put nose pieces on the inside of them! All Asians should put them on to help their glasses stay on. He can put them onto sunglasses that don’t have any. And he replaced ones that I had that used to have them. Looks better than the original.

I’ve been a regular customer here since I accidentally stumbled upon this place 10 years ago. Their glasses are awesome, and the owner actually is the guy who makes your glasses. Huge selection of great glasses at a very reasonable price.
I stepped on my glasses the other day, took them back to him, and he fixed it up perfectly.
