Starbucks

I find it funny that I’m saying this just after my previous starbucks review… but this starbucks is like any other standard starbucks. It has coffee and okay staff. Otherwise though, it’s crazy busy, which I seriously wish wasn’t the case.
I love the interior of this one because it has a super high ceiling and it feels spacious despite it being small. Good thing I was staying at the hotel nearby. Super convenient location for nearby hotels.

5^th time visiting this location. The line gets long, but the staff is super fast, incredibly friendly and most importantly, they looked happy to serve customers.
The store is kept very clean and fully supplied! Love this store.

Cold coffee, rude staff, «i dont care» management, their business can’t survive on repeat business from locals because i can’t believe locals would put up with this store. Tourists, please get your coffee at another Starbucks location or another company.

Fast and friendly service! Although it does get busy they crank out the drinks. Pretty spacious and first Starbucks I’ve seen with a bar.

Always super busy. Indoor and outdoor seating. My favorite is the soy matcha unsweetened iced latte!

Drinking caffeine can make you go to the restroom a lot. There is no public restroom and the nearby one is Ross. That is why this place deserves 3 stars. Most Star Bucks places have restrooms and im surprised this place does not. It used to, but its only for employees. The restroom is reserved for the restaurant around there. Service is great. WiFi has been improved greatly (was AT&T and now Google). The atmospheric environment is OK, but it can get too loud when the music is on. Room temperature can get a bit cold at night and just right during the day. There are a descent number of outlets.

The service and atmosphere here is friendly and comfortable… the baristas treat you with respect and greet you by name… they are very courteous and helpful… it is very clean and always stocked with the neccesities at the do it yourself bar… the team of baristas, (Megan, James, and Jose) are the best… it is because of the efforts that I give this place a 5 Star rating and enjoy coming back time and time again… thanks guyz… your loyal customer, Darin.

Starbucks coffee is one of the most popular coffee shops in Hawaii. When I go inside, it has a better smell than Island Vintage coffee. Also it is more fashionable than Honolulu coffee company. For example the displays are made of wood and there are many cute cups and mags. It is a nice place to sit alone. The staff works fast but it has long lines because it is famous coffee shop. It is expensive, but it tastes good. Starbucks (@Kuhio st) is the nearest coffee shop to Bus stop. It is the most suitable for relaxing while watching for the bus. If you need to wait for the bus, you can have a pleasant time at Starbucks.

I’m sorry, I never give bad reviews, this is a tourist town, people spend a lot of money to travel here and have a great time. Wow… I know it’s a busy place but service was poor, silly easy to avoid mistakes, and the very worst was the very poor attitudes from the cashier, barista and the person I complained to trying to get my drink fixed. Oh well, there’s plenty of coffee shops around, I won’t be going back here. My only hope is that maybe some one from there might read this and fix it.

My study spot, not to mention the really good staff. It’s a modern day Cheers! Sometimes I have the delicious grilled cheese. Most times though, I have a caramel macchiato Tonite I had one of their new frappucinos. All around cool place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or study, cruise with friends or relax your warped brain.

Location is convenient, and I received great customer service each visit.

ever since the OHANA West Starbucks closed last month, i’ve been having to come to this one since it’s the closest to my workplace. this is seriously the slowest Starbucks i’ve ever been to. my last 2 visits here, i’ve waited past 10 mins to either place an order or to get my coffee and there weren’t that many customers in the store too! i can understand when it’s busy, you can expect longer wait times. but when there’s not more than 5 customers in the store, there shouldn’t be any excuses for the long wait times.
last friday, i went in the afternoon time during my lunch break, and there were only 3 workers at the time. first of all, the cashier over-​charged me for my drink. and second of all, there were maybe 3 – 4 customers waiting before me, and the barista was moving slower than a slug. not to mention, when the other 2 workers had no customers to assist, they just stood there and didn’t even help the slowpoke barista. i guess there’s no teamwork at this store… plus, he made my drink wrong. i wanted my caramel machiatto stirred (which was written on my cup too) and he layered it instead. i didn’t wanna wait any longer for him to correct it and it’s not that big a deal, but still… if you take soooo long to make an order, the least you could do is read the cup correctly and make it right!
before i started work this morning, i made sure to leave my place extra early so i could grab coffee before work. when i got to the store, i was the 2^nd customer in line, but for some reason, it took almost 10mins for me to even place my order. there was only 1 person on register while there were 4 other workers in the back…1 was the barista while the other 3 were either taking out the trash, replenishing supplies and i have no idea what the 3^rd one was doing. but hello, what happened to sense of urgency when it comes to customer service? the customer in front of me was buying like the whole store, and instead of someone else jumping on register to shorten the line, the other workers continued to ignore the customers and kept restocking the store.
not to mention, i’ve been coming to this store for the past couple weeks now, and not one of them seems like they try to engage with their customers and try to learn their regulars’ names. their store isn’t always clean and i’ve seen their trash in the front get so piled up, it’s disgusting!

Leilani leilani leilani youre not very good at helping your guests at all… Please dont count your coin tips when theres people waiting to order. I asked for 1 cm of thai wall and you looked at me like i was stupid for stating what i wanted. If you really dont know how much 1 cm is, just look at a ruler to review what kids learn in elementary school.

So I just posted a photo of their management and let me tell you, she is the most unpleasant worker I’ve met. She doesn’t have customer service ethics and no interactions. Why would you work in an area where tourist are? These people take back everything they have experienced here on the island. I’ve been working in Waikiki for years, been in management on 3 previous jobs and I’ve never seen such worst customer service. If you hate your life work somewhere that doesn’t involve interacting with other people. I will have to go in myself. I don’t remember her name but she’s an older lady, dark hair with a lot of arm fat. I still continue to purchase there only because there are workers who care for their job and care for each customers. I will remember her name and let everyone know. Till then don’t expect to get great service there if she’s around. Literally a vibe killer.

My friend and I stopped by to redeem a free drink reward. I ordered a venti iced black tea with strawberries. Jose, the cashier wasn’t too sure what he was doing. I paid via app for the first time and i askedhim for help, saying i wasnt sure how it worked. he would not touch or even glance at my phone. I just geld up the line and fiddle with my app until I worked out how to use the coupon. he had a very «I don’t give a shit» attitude throughout the entire exchange.
while waiting for my order, there was a ton of unclaimed drinks which I’m pretty sure jose messed up because the batista seemed like she knew how to do her job. she made the orders perfect for what was written on the cup, but what jose had written on the cup was wrong. and this is how I ended up with a passion fruit lemonade with strawberries. not to mention there was another passion fruit lemonade left unclaimed on the counter.
jose had gotten the order wrong and the barista even asked him «can you write that on the cup?» when I told her my order was wrong.
jose seemed unsure when taking orders but he did not clarify the orders to make sure they were right. he left a very bad impression on me and I don’t think I will be back at this starbucks. ever.

PRO: it’s Starbucks, better coffee than the other coffee places, very quick service, polite ordering.
CON: busy location, service so very fast and a bit mechanical.

I only come to this place to get my iced caramel macchiato and the service is not really great! Yesterday i was just at this place and ordered one, and when i politely asked the lady for my machiatto to be stirred she just looked at me, did what i asked her to do and when done, she just placed my machiatto on the counter without saying anything! Not even thank you or any smile! They should learn how to be more welcoming and friendly.

New bakery, breakfast and lunch offerings. I tried the spinach and cheese square, which was tasty without being filling. And the oat cherry bar (?) Was moist and flavorful. Good fare and good service with a smile!

There are several starbucks locations located in waikiki. This is one of the bigger ones and usually the line is shorter than the line at Ohana West. The baristas here like to expedite the process I’ve noticed by starting drinks for people in line before they get to the register. Overall, they’re pretty nice too.
I like the variety of different «hawaii» Starbucks mugs, as well as regular Starbucks mugs and coffee products. I also like the ample seating, both outside and inside.
I usually order iced tea lemonade or orange mango iced tea if I need to be refreshed. I’m not a fan of the refresher drinks or sodas. If I need some caffeine I’ll get iced coffee or an iced mocha if I’m feeling fancy. There’s also this cool «secret» menu I’ve been going through when I get Starbucks rewards. Btw, sign up for the rewards program, if you go too Starbucks half as much as I do, I think it’s worth it. Plus, you get access to cool promos.
I leaned that all their food items are flown in from the mainland, so I don’t usually purchase any food.
