History

Established in 2015.

The Hawaiian Albino Coconut Shave Ice Shack was conceived by a couple mainlanders who couldn’t find a good Hawaiian Shave Ice on the south side of Oahu. They kept finding what they called Sleet or Snow cone ice. So they took it upon themselves to bring quality Hawaiian Shave Ice to the Waikiki area. Now after only 3 months they have moved inside Hilo Hattie to take over the Café inside.

Brenda And Cody B.

Business Owner

Cody first came to the island of Oahu back in the early 80s with his family on vacation and then was later stationed here at Schofield Barracks with the 25^th Infantry Division. After his retirement he went back to the mainland to finish his schooling and that is when he met Brenda. Brenda had been to the Island back in the early 80s as well and loved the tropical climate and feel of Waikiki. In 2014 the couple sold everything on the mainland and jumped on a plane bound for Honolulu. They had no plans to open up a business until they couldn’t fine a good Hawaiian Shave Ice on the south side of the island. That’s when The Hawaiian Albino Coconut Shave Ice shack was born.
