Love this place Bought my 8 MM rope chain from them and sure wasn’t disappointed Jus bought a 50 MM Hawaiian Bracelet and let me tell you it looked amazing from the details to the name my Husband wanted Fishes on it and not jus any kine of fish he wanted AHIs and we got it alright it looked exactly to the T. prices are on point they are not Tryna RIP you off like other places do. Julie and her Husband are AWESOME. Deadlines are met and its even finished earlier then due date. Totally Recommend EVERYONE to check this place out and BUY from them. I am finally able to wear my original wedding ring thanks to this business. My diamond needed to be placed on a new gold band, it had been sized too thin before and I was afraid it would break. She took one look at it and said she could totally fix it! Dropped it off on a Tuesday and it was ready Thursday. thank you so much

I only tried this place once. I was there a few weeks ago. The staff was wonderful and the baoba was good. I just wish they had more flavors that I like but other than that it was good. Give it a try.

I been here just once try to get rid of my pearl ring and she was very nice and fair with her price.

Julie is great. She is super practical and will tell you straight how it is, even if that means recommending you to go to a different store. I highly recommend this place even though when I first walked by I thought maybe I had the wrong address. In other words, don’t judge the book by the cover — this place is great!

Broken engagement? What are you talking about? I was there to sell a ring because I bought another for my fiancé for a better price. You don’t know this because you didn’t take the time to talk to me when I came in. You’re getting mad at me for giving you an honest review, we’ll let me give you some advice: Learn from the customers experience. You were talking to another person the whole time, you weighed another piece of jewelry right in front of me before touching mines, and you said my ring was so cheap it wasn’t worth selling. Nothing about that is professional. And for your rule of thumb, it would’ve been nice if you actually told me that while I was in your shop.

Julie is an expert with quality jewelry and I totally trust her along with several of my friends.
Having bought and sold merchandise through her and can’t recommend her enough.
Looking and some of the recent negative reviews they all had the same theme, which was small low quality Diamonds which isn’t Things and Blings forte. If you peruse the pictures of her merchandise you can see she mostly deals in mid to upscale goods and not diamond «chips».
Doesn’t take a Mensa to figure out why the engagement was broken.
It seems Julie took the time to respond to each review and attempt to explain why she wasn’t interested in their goods because she was trying to not waste their time or insult them with a low offer which is the posters own FAULT!
Unfortunately some customers are just unreasonable and don’t want to accept they got ripped off somewhere else.

Julie is straight up and she knows her stuff! Cheap prices and she’s legit. She’s not a lot about just making money. She wants to satisfy her customers. Totally recommending her to all my friends and family.

When I was walking down King St I noticed in the stores window of two Michael Kors bags that I had to have. I am a student on a budget and the the owner of the store seemed to understand my budget and was friendly and helpful along with the rest of the family. Things & Blings is a nice accessories shop that has everything from bags to jewelry to watches, everything a girl needs. :) I will make sure to be a returning customer.

After requesting for a golden bar chain necklace, Julie had got the necklace done right away. I am really happy with the beautiful necklace :) it was exactly what I ordered and she listened to the details I was requesting. Thank you so much Julie, will return to order more items ^_​_​^

On a recent trip to Oahu, I was trying to find (2) comfortable anniversary bands with bezel-​set diamonds for my third anniversary. After walking into (3) different jewelry shops on Waikiki and Ala Moana shopping center, no one had Hawaiian design bands with diamonds in them for men. There are plenty of diamond ring options for women, but not men. And I wanted them to match. I was almost ready to give up when I found Things and Blings on a Unilocal search.
After speaking with Julie, I walked over from Ala Moana shopping center to her shop and explained my situation. Julie suggested custom-​making the rings. So, I picked out the diamonds at her shop and she told me she will hand-​engrave the Hawaiian design on plain gold bands for me.
I was a little nervous because I lived in California and I had to fly back before the process even started. There was actually nothing to worry about because Julie updated me throughout the process and sent detailed pictures. When the final product was done, she express-​mailed it to me from Hawaii to California. The entire process went smoothly and arrived just in time for my wedding anniversary. The rings are beyond beautiful and there is nothing like it from all the jewelry shops I’ve walked into. Thank you Julie for making our wedding anniversary so special!!!

After reading reviews on Unilocal,I decided to stop in at Things & Blings to try and sell a ring that I had. I’d been to 5+ places and was pleased that the owner, Julie, offered me the highest amount. She took the time to explain the value of my ring and why she offered the amount she did. Don’t take my word for it, do the legwork and you will find out for yourself.
I have been to many jewelry stores on the island and the service and value you get for your money at her shop can’t be beat. She is honest, straightforward, and very personable. She is truly looking out for the customer and aims to build lasting relationships for years to come… at times at her own expense because her profit margin can be so small.
I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment if you have something specific you are looking for.
Parking is easy: take a left on King St. and park anywhere in the customer stalls in the back of the bldg.
There is no doubt in my mind that this shop is the first place I will go to when looking for jewelry in the future. DO NOT pay mall prices for the same pieces you can get from this place for half the price. Stop in at Things & Blings and you won’t regret it. We should all aim to keep local shops like this in business for many years to come!

First off, I’ve been in customer service for over 30 years. Excellent customer service is top priority.
I was welcomed when entering the security door. It felt like it was a fake forceful greeting. I wanted to sell a couple of diamond rings I had. Juile, I supposed that was her.
I took out the ring for her to look at… .38 and .36 cts. She took it and started to look at it. As she was looking at it, I took out the certificate that came with it. As soon as I mentioned I bought it from the Wedding Ring Shop she quickly handed it back to me and told me «They are over priced, take it back to them. They will buy it back from you». And then she said «oh it’s too small»
WTF!!! If it was too small then why did you look at it in the first place.
The service was horrible and she was fake.
Beware she says she only buys big diamond but didn’t inform till after I mentioned the Wedding Ring Shop. If you go there with small diamond she might not give you the courteous service that all the other reviews rave about.
I would’ve been fine if she had provided a more professional service.
She’s lucky to receive 1 star otherwise it would’ve been zero.

Thanks for the help Unilocalers. I was looking for a nice going away gift and stressing about where to buy a nice plumeria pendant without spending too much. Looked at Maui divers and Na Hoku– uh no thnx. I walked in and told her what I needed and within 5 minutes she had exactly what wanted that even had a little bling. Don’t be discouraged if don’t see what u want in the cases as I think she has plenty of hidden treasures in the back that may just be perfect for u. Thnx again for taking away my stress.

I just had my fiancé’s engagement ring re-​sized and when I got it back today, it fit perfectly and it looks brand new with the polish and rhodium plating done. I paid $ 60 though, Jeez! I know I paid waaay too much to go down a size, as I called around to shop for services, others were charging $ 20-​$ 30. I couldn’t re-​size the ring for free from where I bought it as this was purchased from a local Las Vegas shop. Although, we needed it to be done asap, and this was the closest to where I work, so it was convenient. Good service though, I would definitely recommend to check it out.

After reading the reviews here, I chose this place to take my old gold and silver jewelry. I was happy with what I got for it. Silver isn’t worth much, but my old 14kt gold got me some cash.
I also book-​marked the store for when I want Julie to make me a custom piece!
