My 2004 Ford Ranger would crank, but would not start. I had it towed to Ts Autoworks based on previous reviews posted on Unilocal.Tony was able to look at it right away, and gave me an estimate over the phone for a new fuel pump (which is what I had suspected was the cause of the problem) with a full explanation of estimate costs. He completed the job quickly and efficiently, and for a reasonable price. Ts Autoworks will be my «go-​to» repair shop for any future car or truck problems.

I was referred to Tony at TS Autoworks by Clint from CR Imports. My car, a 2005 Scion xA had been making a loud noise while driving straight & turning left. Tony is such a knowledgeable guy that as soon as I told him what I was experiencing, he immediately knew what was wrong. I also asked about a vibration & he told me that it was normal for xA’s & xB’s to do that at about 90k miles (mine is at 91k+, he was so on it!) Brought my car in & sure enough, Tony was right on the money! He also found another issue & brought it to my attention. Tony fixed both problems & possibly even saved me from an accident. To my surprise, he called to let me know my car was done in just a few hours. Tony’s knowledge, honesty & excellent customer service will keep me coming back! My car feels & sounds great!

I was referred to Tony by a work friend when I was telling her about my car troubles. I am glad I listened because Tony gives honest advice, is great at customer service, and charges a fair price. I definitely will go back and recommend that you go check him out first if you are having automotive issues.

I sent my blond, mechanically challenged girl friend to Tony on a recommendation from a friend. She has an older Mazda 3, and there was a «noise» that seemed to come from the trunk. Her tentative and conservative tendencies about cars and driving, although quite aggravating at times, seemed to have some legitimacy in terms of further damage to her vehicle, and safety to her and others on the road. Tony, who I had never met, is a one of a kind mechanic. He actually took the time to explain to her that the cause of the noise was not a problem that should be fixed because the cost incurred would not justify it, as it posed no danger of further damage to her car and no safety hazard. The bushings on the rear struts were worn and the part is difficult to find without replacing the entire strut and mounts, This would be an expensive repair., one of the problems with driving a vehicle older than 10 years. In addition, since the car has“settled” the rear would now be raised higher than it’s current position, all this just to silence the noise. His charge, including diagnostics, he had to test drive the car too, was NC, NO CHARGE!!! I told her to have the car serviced, including rotating the tires, and that came out to $ 45 including tax, which he quoted right up front. All was explained in terms that even a blond, mechanically challenged, middle aged female, was able to comprehend and then accurately regurgitate on request. Tony is honest to a fault, something unfortunately quite rare in the auto repair business. He does not overcharge, he does not seek to do work that is not necessary, he is upfront with his costs, and it gets done on time. I plan to take my own car there as soon as the warranty expires. He tells me that he can fix anything automotive, including big rigs. Although I do not plan on owning one of those anytime soon, I will keep it in mind if someone who does own one asks me.

I own 1999 Mercedes C280 Sport & it decided to take a sabbatical on Beretania St. Thankfully I was not in the way of traffic. Called Tony Sai & he was able to get a tow truck out to me in no time at all! Tony repaired my Mercedes, & even washed it! Thank you Tony for the awesome service! You ROCK!

Went to Tony to get my brakes checked and to find out why my check engine light was on. Tony was very helpful, straight up, and down to earth. He gave me an estimate on doing brake work, but also let me know that I didn’t need to replace them just yet because my pads still had life in them. Where else can you find a mechanic that let’s you know that your wasting money if you fix it now?! And to top it off the estimate was on point.
Instead, he gave my truck a tune up at a very fair price and fixed my door, put some oil, and put air in my tires. There were a few other things that I was concerned about and he addressed all of them and gave me estimates that were far cheaper than the other «brand name» place, ie Lex Brodie.
No more check engine light! I will definitely be back to fix all the other things and suggest you check them out too if you want a fair deal, quick service, and an outstanding job done!

My vehicle would not start and despite multiple attempts to jumpstart, I ended up having to get my vehicle towed. I was going to have it towed to the dealer but the towing company suggested that I tow it to TS Autoworks and I’m glad I took his suggestion.
Tony communicated professionally and courteously. He was very upfront with me regarding what he thought the problem was and how much he thought it would cost. At the end of the day, not only did he resolve my issue, he also told me about a couple of other things that I had suspected were issues with my vehicle but which I could not put a finger on. After I got the car back from TS Autoworks, I could definitely hear and feel an improvement in the way the car starts up and runs.
Anyway, I have found an auto mechanic that will be getting my business in the future. Not only is he an expert in the trade and dealt with his business professionally and ethically, his shop location is quite central and makes it very convenient. I’d highly recommend TS Autoworks for auto repair issues.

I just had my alternator replaced today, and after shopping around, the prices here were very fair. On top of that, he was the only shop who would install parts not purchased thru him, although I ended up just going thru him anyway. I was pleased with how fast he was able to get me in and out of his shop and how he never tried to up-​sell to any additional unnecessary repairs or services that usually accompany other mechanics. This was my first time here, and I felt so comfortable that I will definitely be bringing my car back if/​when I need any more work done.

I live off Island and my daughter is in college on Oahu. I got a referral from an acquaintance and sent her over to TS Autoworks for an AC repair. My daughter was so happy with the service. She said they were courteous, honest, and quick. They repaired her AC while she waited and was EXTREMELY fair with the bill.

Went down to this place by recommendation from few people and the fact that it is walking distance from my work place. Their shop is not on the main drag and a little tucked away in to the Kalihi industrial area. Nevertheless a great place to go to get any of your auto work done.
I came here for a all around break pad replacement and I did shop around. I shopped around and their price was same as most shops in town. They were a lot cheaper than Firestone and I would guess a lot better service. The shop is small, but fairly clean and organized. Tony is the owner of TS and very friendly and upfront guy. He’ll give you the best case scenario and the worst case scenario in terms of cost. In talking with him, I got the feeling that this guy knows exactly what he’s talking about (I do know enough about cars) and I felt very comfortable and confident with him. I brought in my car in late morning and my car was done by end of my work.
Anyways, I highly recommend this shop to at least check out for yourself and maybe even get a quote. I think you’ll get the same impression I did. I definitely plan on coming here for my future repairs and services!
